RESISTANCE MEETING 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO

[Like last week, the conference room is set up with enough chairs for everyone (two less than last week) but there isn't any food provided because of the uh... dinner party. Hopefully that didn't go so poorly that the entire group has been split or anything, that would certainly suck.

But once again it's time to discuss the state of things here. Logan's in the same seat he was last time at one end of the table. He's particularly distracted today and he can't seem to focus on that book he's been carrying around, so he'll start things a little earlier today.]

As I'm sure you all know, this week's incentive could easily motivate someone to attempt to murder someone. We need to discuss the state of things here - has anyone found anything since the last meeting? Nighttime patrols have been discussed and I believe Giovanni was handling that. Do we have any other ideas for how we could prevent any more deaths?

Yeah. [ ... because the Conductor told him as much, but he's still turning that information over for now. ] The names in the back of the book were all girls' names.

Did you recognize any of them? ...Can I see it?

None of them. [ He pulls the journal out of his pocket and opens it up to the page with the names - Alena, Hilda, Johanna, Lisbeth, Rachel, and Ziska - before he offers it out to Ashley. ] I don't even know anyone with any of those names in passing.

[She studies them and frowns.] Me neither. I mean, I've heard of them before, maybe had class with a Rachel once? But... Ugh. I have no idea. Do you have any idea what any of it could mean?

I'm not sure. But I found it in the library almost as soon as it opened. I think it must have already been there when we first showed up. [ He pauses. ] The thing is, the Conductor said we aren't the first group of 'Participants'.

Oh my God... Someone else went through this too?

He said we're just the second group but... yeah, someone did.

Did...he say anything about anyone making it out...?

No, he didn't. He was pretty cagey about it.

He recognized one of the names, though. He wouldn't tell me which one, but she apparently broke too many rules. He said he killed her.
