This week has been eventful for the lot of you, if a bit political for some; another resistance meeting, petitions everywhere, group dinners, and the new addition of a bunch of chickens to the group have ensured that at the very least, you've all had reason to keep busy. Of course, there's still that incentive to keep in mind, as well as the fact that there's been a murder every Friday since everyone arrived. Either way, the clock chimes in the morning, as it always does; the doors to the kitchen and the mail room unlock themselves, and all seems quiet. Thankfully, today the ballroom is blessedly corpse-free, as is the rest of the first floor. Maybe it would be good to move upstairs, though, just to make sure the rest of the Academy is likewise. >Explore?

[After finding out about the murder from Morty, Hibiki's going to head here. She might not have the key...but she's sure someone will show up with soon. She can't go see the body, but she can sure make sure her room is as undisturbed as possible.

She almost doesn't want anyone else looking through it, or maybe she needs time to compose herself. So she and Morty will wait outside her room, Hibiki more or less looking like she's lost.]

[She has the key and it works, but she still just kind of stands in front of the door for a moment before actually opening it.

Once it is opened, is there anything immediately noticeable?]

[She's following in right behind regardless of her personal feelings at the moment. Ashley's things...something important must be here, right? Isn't that how it's always been?]

[It takes Hibiki a moment to register she's even being spoken to. Ashley...part of her doesn't think it's true, but...]

It's like, she made these [gestures to the gloves she's wearing] and so I have that part of her forever or whatever, right? But, like. There's a reason I don't steal from any of you while you're alive.

[Hint: it has nothing to do with Tabby being a respectable human being.]

[THERE IS INDEED JUNK IN THE TRUNK, there's a lot of it, actually. The Old Amber is next to the trunk, the Blueberry Perfume and the Star Sand are on the desk, and the rest is sorted into "keep" and "do not keep" piles in the trunk.

...The less said about the Vibrating Kokeshi, the better.]

[Since Hibiki has done it before, she'll check the peripherals of the room. The walls, the floors, the bathroom. Is there anything out of place where someone might walk or move around in the room?]

[Blue and Rakka trail behind Tabby because looking in Ashley's room sounds a hell of a lot better than being in the sewing room right about now.

Once the door's open, Blue's looking for some letters, because Kaneki had something important written and so did Undyne, so why not go three for three? Ashley did say she wrote to the conductor a lot...]

Blue swallows down her sadness; it's a lot easier to keep her composure here than it was at the body; if she managed to do that, she can manage to keep it together here.

Is there anything else to find on paper, or should Blue start looking around the room for something else?]

[Once the door's open, Morty'll just slip on in and start looking near her bed, because he's not at all sure what to even look for so maybe this is a start?]

Blue basically dragged her down here after the both of them discovered the body. Being here at least beats being in the sewing room at the moment. But not much.

So, she's hanging around the door, looking across the room for... anything? She's supposed to be investigating, but it's just not in her.]
