Third.
| This week has been eventful for the lot of you, if a bit political for some; another resistance meeting, petitions everywhere, group dinners, and the new addition of a bunch of chickens to the group have ensured that at the very least, you've all had reason to keep busy. Of course, there's still that incentive to keep in mind, as well as the fact that there's been a murder every Friday since everyone arrived. Either way, the clock chimes in the morning, as it always does; the doors to the kitchen and the mail room unlock themselves, and all seems quiet. Thankfully, today the ballroom is blessedly corpse-free, as is the rest of the first floor. Maybe it would be good to move upstairs, though, just to make sure the rest of the Academy is likewise. >Explore? |

Where are you wanting to start? Checking out the body itself, or the surrounding area first?]

metaphorically, because that sure is a lot of blood around ashley's head. ]

Checking her forehead out will show that the entry wound there was caused by what looks like a gunshot. The bullet is a reasonably small caliber, so it wasn't one of the exploding deathbullets from the machine - thankfully for poor Ashley's face.]

maybe she can't do this.
let's keep going anyway. ]
Okay, so she... she fell, from somewhere. Fell down. Where would she have been standing?
[ don't mind her, just trying not to lose it. ]

It seems she might not have been standing, at least not at first or for the entire time; outside of the obvious signs of a struggle, one of the chairs facing away from the door has been knocked over. It's at one of the table, a short ways away from where the body is.]

[ ...she says, like it's for the benefit of the other people there...
Okay, chair. Sitting, stood up quickly, chair fell. But is it apparent why someone was sitting there? Anything on the table, or the floor nearby? ]

[ who...? if they went back to the kitchen and dug around a week's worth of stupid notes, maybe...
well, maybe somebody will be willing to claim it if she takes it with her to the trial.
...she never got to ask ashley what techniques she used to make all of those wonderful things. ]
Okay. Sewing. Someone comes in. Fright. Dead.
[ ...
Youko's going to sit on the floor, and see if she can see anything different from this eye-level if she takes a long, hard look at the room. ]

Essentially, there was a struggle in here and a lot of it was centered around where the body was found this morning.]

...let's take a look-see around the tables, just to see if anything important was knocked down and forgotten about. same goes for the chairs. ]

Youko sees no reason to try not to break down bawling any longer. Let's pick it up, try not to get it wet and take a look - starting with the chamber.
How many bullets left? ]
