Week 4.

WEEK 4 Ashley Williams and Asuka Langley Shikinami have joined the ranks of the deceased. Two more deaths, two more people whose absences will be felt by the group; a bit over one-fifth of the Participants are dead. And this week, it seems everyone is feeling it. They say three times can be considered a routine, and the fourth week of the exercise isn't breaking pattern any. Saturday can be given to rest and sleep; on Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock. There are no more bodies, no more bloodstains; there's nothing else to be found this morning. Unless, of course, you count whatever you found last night, strange dreams or otherwise. Once again, there's a new floor to explore; after everything that trial decided to be yesterday, you deserve the reward. And for the second time, there are rule changes, effective immediately. Soup...? [oh, okay. So it wasn't some sort of cake. Goodness. Rakka gives her a little nod.]

Yeah. I think that's what it is, at least. [She smiles more truthfully.] I'm fine, but I was just wondering what you're making right now.

I've gotten tired of sandwiches, toast, and things that drop out of the vending machine. Besides, after that truth-or-dare party, everybody knows how bad my baking was! I've got to repair my reputation, you know!

Oh. [Said matter-of-factly as Elise speaks. It all seemed perfectly normal to Rakka.]

W-well, you're not that bad at it. [Yes she is] I-I'm sorry that had to come out during a game though...

Well, one deals with... public humiliation, I suppose. Regardless. How long do you think this water will take to boil?

Ehehe... [She wouldn't say that a truth given on a game of truth and dare really qualified for public humiliation.... But, then again, she had nothing to compare it to.]

I'm not sure, but, I think it depends on how much you're trying to boil?

It says here on the box, three cups. This can't make all that much.

Three cups? [Hmmm...] Well, is it boiling at all now?

Of course. [But she checks the stove just in case.] Well. I mean. The heat is on.

[You do that, Elise. Rakka's really trying here.]

Huh. Maybe you need to put a lid on it? That way, all the heat can stay in.

A-all right. [On the lid goes.] And you wait until it bubbles, correct?

Yes! At least, I think that's how it goes. [Should... she... really be asking her?]

Do you want to make anything else?

Ah? Well, perhaps... did you come to make something, then?

W-well, I can! [sort of.]

I can make you something to drink with your lunch, if you want.

Thank you. I've been running out of tea again. One needs to ration it, after all.

Hehe! The kitchen does have a supply of it, but what we get from the vending machine is a lot nicer.

I think I have some rose flavored tea in my room?

That's true. The food supplies are better than I'd expect, though, wouldn't you say that too?

Yeah, they really are. I remember getting a bag of sweet rolls from the machine, and they were really good snacks!
