[This whole week has been awful. This whole experience has been awful. Mordecai wants to go straight to his room and deal with his frustrations, but that's not what a mayor does. A mayor takes charge, a mayor fixes what's wrong, a mayor makes things better. Even if he can't do everything on his own, he's has to do something.

Two hours after the end of the trial, the living will find another note slipped underneath their doors.]

There's cookies in the kitchen. The dining room is ready for anyone who needs a quiet place to talk it out. I'll be in the bar if you need a drink, alcoholic or something more appropriate for the underage crowd.

She's the mature type, and she's always been very popular. Our father adores her -- he even had fireworks set off on her birthday. We were almost inseparable when we were children.

Fireworks on a birthday sounds really fun! I bet your fireworks were really pretty...and even regal somehow!

It was nice to see. What do you do for yours, where you come from?

For my birthdays? W-well, for my last one, it was just me and the pets. I brought home sushi, I think!

I-I'm not lonely! I've got lots of pets! And we all get along great!

...I'm glad you've got that. It's important to you, after all, and it must be nice having so many around.

Yeah. With Inumi and everyone, I'm never lonely. I mean it! It's not somethin' I worry about or anything.

Blue said that I'm playin' with everyone's lives...all because I didn't really understand what I was lookin' at. It really hurt! I'm tryin' to look out for a lot of people. You, Ashworth-san, Morty, Sol, Yuuri...there are so many people here I wanna keep seeing.

Blue wears sapient lingerie and thinks neon green is a colour for everyday wear. I doubt she understands anything she looks at.

Elise, you shouldn't say it like that! [But Hibiki is already smiling, so...oops.] I mean, maybe she had a point, but...you have a point, too. Maybe I'm makin' too big of a deal out of this.
