Week 5.
Two more are gone this week. Luna and Chie Hori have joined those who are present only in memory now, and their passing seems to have left a lot of emotions raw and exposed. But as usual, the group has at least a little bit of time to recover. Saturday can be dedicated to rest and sleep; on Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock. The stairwells are clear of bodies; there's no more death to be dealt with for the time being. Unless, of course, you happened to recover something particularly unfortunate in your dreams... Once again, there's a new floor to explore; your reward for doing your job well. And since you've survived for a month now, you are doing your job well. However, the new floor isn't the only thing that's changed; there are a few things about the building that seem a little...off. A few things that weren't there before might be, or a few things that should be there aren't; you'll just have to see what the week brings, won't you? That is, if you're not going to be investigating all the goings-on personally... |

[she offers a chunk of the painting- mostly trees, still wet- to Yuuri.]
Go ahead, try it!
no subject
Like this? [ He asks, tearing it in half. ]
no subject
[rip.]
-get it all out!
no subject
[ Yuuri's silent for a few moments, but he might as well get some of his pent up anger and sadness out. He rips the painting again, this time with a lot more force. ]
That actually felt kind of good.
no subject
[Because she is determined to rip this painting to shreds.]
no subject
Why are you ripping this up? It looks like it was a nice painting...
no subject
[Since she can't exactly punch anyone's face in right now.]
Besides, I can draw something much better than this!
no subject
[ What with the way she's tearing everything up. ]
How about after we finish tearing this up we both draw something?
no subject
Sure. I'd like that.
[She tears up one more piece, then... decides she's done getting that out of her system and starts to push the scraps away.]
It wasn't an important memory. It happened years ago.
no subject
[ He picks up a few of the scraps, setting them on one of the tables before grabbing himself a stool. ]
no subject
[...That's the short of it, really; it would be more satisfying if the entire thing wasn't so emotional and left her so restless.
It would be more satisfying if she weren't still here and didn't have to worry about which of her friends would die next week.]
no subject
[ He smiles, genuinely happy for her. ]
If you want, I can tell you one of my memories. It's only fair, honestly.

I am! They're more confusing than anything, to be honest... [ He takes a moment, trying to recall as much as he can of last week's memory. ]
I can't remember much, but I was with a few people I don't recognize, along with a friend from home. I'm not sure what happened, it had to be some kind of magic object, but it caused the ground under us to just collapse. I think I made water fill up all the ditches so people could float, but it was so chaotic I don't really know what happened.
[ He grips onto the edge of the stool. Remembering all of it is one thing, trying to make sense of it all is nearly impossible for him. ] The last thing that happened was I was hanging off the edge of a cliff? Or something... I knew I was going to fall. But out of nowhere, my friend Wolf came to save me. It was weird, but I could tell he changed a lot even in just a couple of seconds... I was actually kind of proud of him when I woke up.
[ Yuuri sighs, shaking his head and giving Blue another smile. ] What a weird dream, right?
no subject
I'll say! It sounds like you were going through quite a lot!
no subject
Yeah... I just wish I knew what was actually going on, though. It's all so confusing.
[ He heaves out a sigh, getting off of the stool and wandering into the storage room. ] There are sketchbooks in here, right?
no subject
[She'll head with him into the storage room; drawing with pencils will take a whole lot less time than making another painting from scratch and waiting for it to dry.]
I hope there are sketchbooks! I didn't look for too long!
[...She got excited about paints like a little god damn kid, but. Shh.]
no subject
I found them! [ He turns around to present them to Blue, grinning. ]
Did you find any pencils?
no subject
[She holds up a handful of pencils. We're in business, Yuuri.]
no subject
Great!
[ Yuuri heads back into the room, grabbing a stool and setting it at one of the tables. ] Should we come up with a theme or something?
