Week 5.

WEEK 5 Two more are gone this week. Luna and Chie Hori have joined those who are present only in memory now, and their passing seems to have left a lot of emotions raw and exposed. But as usual, the group has at least a little bit of time to recover. Saturday can be dedicated to rest and sleep; on Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock. The stairwells are clear of bodies; there's no more death to be dealt with for the time being. Unless, of course, you happened to recover something particularly unfortunate in your dreams... Once again, there's a new floor to explore; your reward for doing your job well. And since you've survived for a month now, you are doing your job well. However, the new floor isn't the only thing that's changed; there are a few things about the building that seem a little...off. A few things that weren't there before might be, or a few things that should be there aren't; you'll just have to see what the week brings, won't you? My age is right too, so it couldn't be missing too many memories. All of mine are so confusing, though, I have no idea how far apart they are.

Mine seem to be only weeks apart at most...or days, recently. They're...a little confusin', but basically I guess I'd be just as kidnapped back home as I am here...fuck my life, basically.

[ He pauses in thought, looking down at the piano keys. ]

If it's possible... Would you like to go with me to my country? [ They were already all brought here there's no reason why they can't go to each other's worlds, right... After all, Hibiki was already making plans for a few of them to go to Okinawa. ]

You'd...ask me to go back there?

[ Somehow, this is a surprise to her. And for a second, she imagines it. Yuuri's world - his castle, or whatever, and a place where she presumably wouldn't be imprisoned or hunted to kill.

Goz. The South. Satoru, Jin, the rest of that group... ]

...I've always wanted to live in a world where livin' wouldn't be considered a sin. But even so - even so, I promised to protect those guys, and...without at least one person to use Song, what would happen to them...?

[ But he's not surprised that Sol doesn't immediately agree to it—she's not the kind of person that would. ]

It's okay if you decide to go back home, since you have people to go back to. But you would be welcome in Shin Makoku too.

[ She has obligations and responsibilities! Like Yuuri does...but even so, she looks a little happier.

Yeah, she's my daughter. She's a couple of years younger than you, though.

Greta's only ten years old, so she's actually a lot younger...

I turned sixteen a couple of months ago! [ Because that makes a huge difference obviously. ]

...It's a long story, actually. [ So he scoots over on the piano bench in case Sol wants to sit down. ]

A while ago, when I went to Shin Makoku, there was news that my illegitimate daughter was there to see me. This actually ended up being an assassination attempt, but she ended up failing since my godfather saw her pull out a knife just in time. [ But really, he was probably in more danger when Wolfram heard "illegitimate daughter". ]

I sprained my ankle so we decided to go to a hot spring to get it healed faster, and I managed to get her to go with me. We actually got close really fast, and I decided I wanted to adopt her since her foster parents were really mean to her.

[ It's a little condensed but going over everything would mean they would be here an hour. ] Besides, I'm not the only one taking care of here. Wolfram's watching over her too. Right now she's studying abroad with Shiny Head—I mean Hyscliff.
