Afterparty 5.0

[There's not much that can be believed about that trial. Or that execution. Still, like before, two hours after everyone leaves, they'll find a note slipped underneath their doors.]

We have to stick together. The dining room is there for anyone that needs a quiet space, and I cooked dinner.

Hibiki made some coffee and dessert for all of us.

[Today's selection includes potato pancakes and a light coffee cake. Hibiki has lit two more candles in the dining hall. It doesn't take long before Mordecai lights a third.]

[Blue never has an appetite after these things, but she does show up; she settles down next to Yuuri pretty quickly, because he looks a little out of it, and like he needs the company.]

Are you okay?

[It's always a dumb question to ask, but it's something she asks anyway.]

[ He doesn't have much of an appetite himself either, but he doesn't want the food to go to waste. Besides, it's always good to at least try and eat.

When he feels someone sitting next to him, he looks up and, seeing it's Blue, gives her a small smile. Dumb question or not, it's still appreciated. ]

...Not really. It never gets easier. [ He sighs. ] What about you?

...It's sad, isn't it? Even if I get angry or upset in the heat of things, in the end...

No one deserves this. Dio... He wanted us all to get out too.

[The way he went about it was stupid as hell, but...]

[ He nods, staring down at his food. ]

He really did. He shouldn't have done what he did, but... Maybe he couldn't think of another way.
