[There's not much that can be believed about that trial. Or that execution. Still, like before, two hours after everyone leaves, they'll find a note slipped underneath their doors.]

We have to stick together. The dining room is there for anyone that needs a quiet space, and I cooked dinner.

Hibiki made some coffee and dessert for all of us.

[Today's selection includes potato pancakes and a light coffee cake. Hibiki has lit two more candles in the dining hall. It doesn't take long before Mordecai lights a third.]

Jesus...[ He looks down to the key, frowning. ] Do you think I should give it to Hibiki...? She was a lot closer to Rakka than I was. I mean, she was my friend, but...

...When you put it that way, yeah. I tried to.

If you ask me, you should hold onto it until somebody asks for it. Otherwise, you're kinda just... foisting a dead person's key onto somebody else.

[ Which could be awkward, for obvious reasons. ]

And there you go. You did your best your own way, so it's just annoying if you don't take pride in doing that much.

[ EESH. thank god he hadn't done anything like giving it away because that could have looked bad.

On a good note, you're making him feel better though! Marty nods, stuffing his hands in his vest pockets. ] Guess you got a point. Didn't really think about it that way until you brought it up. It wasn't fun going in that incinerator though, let me tellya.

[ IT'S FOR CHICKENS. ]

Yeah, that incinerator is seriously bad news. I mean, considering the rest of this place... there's really only one purpose for it.

[ Disposing of evidence and, uh. Other things... ]

Yeah. I got what you mean.

It didn't smell weird in there actually. Just kinda...burnt.

Yeah, that's... probably a good thing. [ Thanks to all the murderers for not burning a dead body. ] ... Well, it was mentioned today that it has to have outside ventilation, though, so there's that.

[ Not really a viable escape route, but... ]

Oh, hey. Kinda forgot with the carbon monoxide and everything. [ He pays attention in school all the time, honest! ] Kinda makes sense.

Did, did you find anything at all?

Like anything that could help us get out? ... I mean, I guess I feel like I know more stuff than I did before, but nothing concrete. Mostly theories.

[ And most of it is questionable in usefulness... ]
