Week 6.

WEEK 6 Losing three people in one week isn't very nice, is it? Morty Smith, Rakka, and Dio Brando have all joined the deceased. It will be hard to forget them. It will be even harder to forget that execution and Dio's flying, screaming head. Life must go on though and as usual, the group has at least a little bit of time to recover. Saturday can be dedicated to rest and sleep; on Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock. The stairwells are clear of bodies; there's no more death to be dealt with for the time being. Unless, of course, you happened to recover something particularly unfortunate in your dreams... Once again, there's a new floor to explore; your reward for doing your job well. Some of your antics have resulted in more rule changes, effective immediately. You might want to avoid breaking those if you're fond of staying alive. But then again, there are ghosts. Maybe dying wouldn't be so bad after all. [ That... sure is a boulder in the ballroom. Bakugou was going to just walk on by, but he can't help but get distracted by it. ]

... Okay... whose fault is it that we have a giant rock in here?

That's what I want to know... I got a note from the vending machine that the thing I won was too big and...

[ He gestures to the boulder. ]

It's definitely not one of the things that normally come out of the vending machine, so... I guess that it must belong to somebody?

[ He stares at it for a few moments. It... looks like a normal boulder, for whatever measure of "normal" a boulder can be... ]

Why would somebody keep a giant rock is what I want to know. Maybe there's something inside?

Maybe... Do you want to try and break it to find out?

[ Yuuri himself doesn't really want to break it, but if Bakugou wants to... ]

Well, now I'm kinda curious, but... I don't have anything I think could break it apart.

[ Surely the boulder isn't just a boulder, though. There must be a secret or something, and he wants to know... ]

Do you think we might have some supplies that could do the trick laying around?

[ Because now Yuuri wants to believe that this isn't a regular boulder. ]

I know some people have had axes drop out of the vending machine... that could probably work, right? I draw the line at trying to smash a giant fucking rock with my bare hands.

[ If he had his superpowers back, though, that boulder would've been a bunch of pebbles like 5 minutes ago. ]

I think it's our best shot... Definitely better than anything I have.

[ He's gotten a spear, but that's it as far as weapons go. ]

I think Chie had one... maybe her room's still open? Unless somebody took it, I guess.

[ He hopes not, what the heck did they plan to do with an axe. Besides break a boulder... ]

We could go look... Her room is probably locked, though.

[ And Tabby probably took her stuff. ]

I think some of the keys have showed up in the mail room... you know, if they weren't stolen right away.

[ Maybe they should just ask their resident looter if she's got an axe. ]

Yeah, I'm sure hers has been stolen by now.

[ LOOKING AT YOU, TABBY. ]

See, this is why people shouldn't steal things, because then when other people actually need them, they're fucked.

[ You know, for the very important task of smashing up a boulder. ]

... We have a lab now, don't we? Maybe if we mix some shit together, it'll dissolve it or... something.

[swirlied]

[ It is so, so important. ]

...Are you saying we should make something that'll blow it up?

[blazeit]

I'm pretty sure you could manage to make something explosive with that kind of stuff? But I'm not sure... I can manage something out of household cleaners, but it'd be pretty messy anyway.

I was thinking more about something to dissolve it.

[swirlied]

Do you think we even have something like that in the lab?

[blazeit]

Not sure... I haven't really looked around in the lab too much. But the Conductor is all about giving us stuff that you could kill with, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's some acidic stuff in there.

I wouldn't be either, actually.

[ But even if they do have that stuff how are they going to make it? ] Do you know how to make something like that? We didn't exactly go over that kind of thing in Chemistry at my school...

[blazeit]

Maybe if stuff were labeled with names I recognized... but now that I think about it, maybe not. If we had anything acidic enough to burn through rock, it'd probably also be able to do a number on locks.

[ ... and that would be... disturbing for their murder prospects, if nothing else... ]

Yeah... It's probably for the best if we just don't think about it. If we ended up making something it'd be bad if anyone found it.

[blazeit]

Ugh, yeah, that's true. I guess that's about it for options outside attempting to smash it with our bare fists, huh.

[ That strikes him as potentially being a bad idea.... ]

[swirlied]

[ That is a very bad idea. ]

I guess we'll just have to leave it here, then...
