Week 6.
Losing three people in one week isn't very nice, is it? Morty Smith, Rakka, and Dio Brando have all joined the deceased. It will be hard to forget them. It will be even harder to forget that execution and Dio's flying, screaming head. Life must go on though and as usual, the group has at least a little bit of time to recover. Saturday can be dedicated to rest and sleep; on Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock. The stairwells are clear of bodies; there's no more death to be dealt with for the time being. Unless, of course, you happened to recover something particularly unfortunate in your dreams... Once again, there's a new floor to explore; your reward for doing your job well. Some of your antics have resulted in more rule changes, effective immediately. You might want to avoid breaking those if you're fond of staying alive. But then again, there are ghosts. Maybe dying wouldn't be so bad after all. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 17 |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains as well!
The Letters and Switchboard posts are still active to be used at your leisure, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here!]

Meanwhile, Tabby will find what appears to be a beer keg outside her room.]

That's just about the last thing she'd expected to find, but this is a...school or something. So maybe this was the principal's? After finding a book in the library before the trial before last, she also knows how to spot when lack of dust, which...has her even more confused.
If she's not in there looking through random objects in the room, she'll certainly be happy to ask her fellow students about what the heck this all could mean.]

In the office, Jean has quickly decided that 'looks like it's seen recent use' is the same thing as 'probably full of secrets' and has decided that this, too, needs to be thoroughly explored. For once, though, he's decided that rather than climbing all over the shelves he's going to focus on pulling open all the desk drawers and shuffling through the contents.
And finally, perhaps alarmingly, Jean can later be found in the first floor storage room making off with quite a bit of rope. Who knows what he needs it for, though at least he doesn't seem to be sneaking around with it as he makes his way through the hallway. ]

When he gets tired of writing, he switches over to browsing a notebook, which is lightly scorched but still readable in most parts. Most of the pages are filled out with notes on various heroes (Kamui of the Woods, Mount Lady... a substantial section is dedicated to somebody named All Might), but he keeps going back to the pages discussing somebody named "Kacchan", looking vaguely disturbed and impressed simultaneously.
Shortly before the night chimes, Bakugou grabs some candles from the storage and places them in the library, office, sewing room, and dining hall next to several sheets of blank paper and pens. At the top of each is a question: "Who's there? Is this a safe way to communicate?" ]

This piano is the one that used to be in my saloon on Mars. The AI is dead, so we don't have to worry about it working against us, but playing it activates the radiation module that causes us to sing along.
It's not dangerous, but all of you should know before you start wondering what is going on.

Granted, that someone wasn't here, and that was both a good thing and an extremely disappointing thing because if anyone deserved it... but no. Giovanni would have to get his mind off of that, because it was a Sunday and that meant so much new stuff. Would it be more rewarding than last week's?
...well, that would have to wait until he stopped by the vending machine, because who didn't love free... stuff... wow, getting something from a dead person in the colors you wanted just kind of reminds you that everyone else on your side of the hall is fucking dead, doesn't it? Arceus's fucking full plate set.
Let's just head to the newest floor and holy shit, science. Does the Conductor, like, want them to make a bomb? That seems to be what he wants them to do. He'll be spending most of the day going through the lab and the workshop with a notebook, figuring that he may as well take an inventory of the place.
...though he figures he'll do a little more of an in-depth investigation in the lab for today, because why not? Someone else is probably checking over the office, anyway.]

When Cabanela wakes in the morning, he feels..... numb.
What the hell is he supposed to do now? People keep dying, he hasn't been able to save anyone.
Hell, even back home, he couldn't save himself. He couldn't save the most important people to him, either.
Anyone who passes him will be able to tell that he looks like utter shit, but other than that... well. For now, the inspector seems to be hanging in there.
He'll be in the chemistry lab in the morning, looking through all of the chemicals to see what can be found in there and probably looking horrified at the sheer amount of toxins.
After that, he'll be in the workshop, again shifting through it because dammit he is an investigator, they have to investigate, or at least look busy as hell.
And finally, in the evening, he can be found in the bar drinking. ]

If he's seeming way more wound up than usual, it's not your imagination. He looks kind of angry, but weirdly enough he's a goddamn bundle of energy today and he'll spend a good portion of the day either running through drills with his sword in the dojo or practicing with the crossbow in the shooting range. The latter is going a lot worse than the former, but that's no surprise by now.
He'll check the books in the library as well for more notes, though the ones he left there haven't been moved. That's frustrating, and after a moment of thought Logan takes the notes out. Clearly they aren't going to be communicating like this.
At night, Logan can be found patrolling again. He'll do his usual rounds but for once he seems a lot less jumpy. He's still really energetic, but he's not flinching at the shadows like he normally does. After a little while he'll find a spot near those candles and sit down and... blow out some of those candles? Huh. He seems perfectly content to sit there, just watching the candles as if he's waiting for something.]

Later on he decides to go check out the new floor and makes his way into the office. He's only there long enough to check it out before moving to the other rooms on the floor. Feel free to catch him during his exploration!
In the evening he can be found in the art room doodling at one of the tables. He's not very good but there's not much else to do. ]

She takes one look at the workshop and immediately gets mad that it's a wood workshop and not something less dated, but she'll at least try to find something to work with here. Maybe she can work with some regains from the machine? God she's dying to make something useful.
Later in the afternoon, she checks the mail room for some paper, and while she does so, Ditty gently drops Wiggly's ball on the floor. It's time for Puffquest, the spiritual successor to Beequest.
Because if it wasn't Dio Brando, then who was it?]

After she manages to drag it into her room (pro of being a superhero: you're just stronger than an average human), Tabby goes to hang out with the chickens. She's actually lying on the floor in the cage, wearing a maid dress and absently talking to one of the white chickens, who's sitting on her chest.
Eventually she gets bored of that, though, and goes to check out their new floor. Office? Boring. Woodworking? Would be more interesting with power tools. Chemistry lab? Oh boy. She's gonna spend some time in here, not actually making anything - just taking stock of what's in there. Surprisingly, she seems to be able to tell what a lot of it is despite having repeatedly said she's not a science person.]

[That...wasn't very pretty. But it could have been a lot worse. For once, Susan's gaze is steady on Sunday morning, her steps quick and assured.
On her way out in the morning, she stops in the dining room. First, she drops off a finished portrait of Luna at the memorial. Only victims so far, excluding Kaneki and Byakuren; maybe she'll get to those this week. She also pauses to read over the updated rules, which she looks extremely unimpressed by.
She and Jean investigated around the art storage room last week, but she still hasn't poked around the art studio much except for taking some materials out. So she's just going to do that today. Maybe someone stuffed something away in here.
The office also looks oddly kept. Unlike Jean, she's going to focus on the shelves: what kind of books are in here, exactly?]

. . . It's probably better that you don't startle her, though. Given her title and what she does for a living, whatever she's making probably explodes.
Afterward, she can be found in the woodworking room. What's she doing? Uh. Attempting to sharpen a butter knife with sandpaper. She has knives, but the rest of you don't and she's not handing them over.]

Whichever ghost is doin' that, it ain't funny!
[Now that weird thing is behind him, Mordecai spends most of the evening in the kitchen working on a soufflé. Even for someone experienced as he is, this is one of the most difficult desserts to make, but he has the time and the resources to practice.
....Goddammit this next one better not end in failure.
Right before the nighttime announcements, Mordecai takes a successful plate of soufflé and a mixed drink into the mail room. Time to leave this little gift behind and see how the Conductor and his cronies react to it.]

TUESDAY
INCENTIVE
Without any fanfare, in fact. The intercom remains silent; it seems that there isn't any message from the Conductor forthcoming at all.
Odd.
...Odder still, perhaps, is the fact that the number of chickens in the room on the first floor appears to have doubled. There are eight of those things in there. Why are there eight of them.
We're in for a strange week.]
[OOC: NUMBER OF CHICKENS WILL INCREASE BY FOUR DAILY UNTIL MORALE IMPROVES OR SOMEONE DIES.
WHY?
...GOOD QUESTION. ONE THAT THE CONDUCTOR DOES NOT FEEL LIKE ANSWERING, UNFORTUNATELY.]

Logan'sReaver's room at Logan's time of death, you'd hope that she'd be the first one to discover that the weapons were gone. At any rate, once she's finally left Bakugou in his own room to sleep, that's where she heads back to.The guns and swords are eye-catching and as such, their absence is obvious to her the moment she steps into the room. After a fleeting, cursory search to make sure they haven't somehow fallen to the floor, Youko spins on her heel with one destination in mind: Tabby's room.
...Which she doesn't know off the top of her head, so it takes some quickly scanned nameplates before- there. 22, with a strange object hanging from the door preventing it from complete closure - and from being easily barged into. ]

Mostly productive in the fact that Rick, for the most part, will be in the lab literally all day. He had dabbled for a little while yesterday, but today will be spent working with this Victor-Frankenstein esque bullshit and seeing what goes together and what doesn't. He's able to piece very little together, given the lab's almost-primitive state, and one might find him cursing at the primitive nature of the whole thing.
Eventually, he just makes a bowl of oobleck and starts dipping his hand into it idly, because this place has brought him down to the level of first grade science experiments involving corn starch. Other times, you might catch him in there conversing and/or arguing with a tiny robot.]

Breakfast is kind of awkward when you're trying to cut fresh ingredients with a butterfly knife, but she makes do; the result is the most colorful and vegetable filled omelette, and... Well, she makes a few extras for anyone else that's hungry, because otherwise she'll have to let these meticulously cut vegetables go to waste, and she's just not here for that today.
Of course, she's not as focused as she could be, and the fact of the matter is that she ends up flipping one of the omelettes far too early, which results in it being misshapen, and there's something in her head that just snaps at that, and, well.
That is the story about how Blue started crying over god damn eggs this morning.
She pulls herself back together and heads to the incinerator, where, well... She's holding a pair of black gloves in her hands and can't really seem to decide what to do with them. Is a pair of damn gloves really that important? Maybe.]
