Week 6.

WEEK 6

Losing three people in one week isn't very nice, is it? Morty Smith, Rakka, and Dio Brando have all joined the deceased. It will be hard to forget them. It will be even harder to forget that execution and Dio's flying, screaming head.

Life must go on though and as usual, the group has at least a little bit of time to recover. Saturday can be dedicated to rest and sleep; on Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock. The stairwells are clear of bodies; there's no more death to be dealt with for the time being. Unless, of course, you happened to recover something particularly unfortunate in your dreams...

Once again, there's a new floor to explore; your reward for doing your job well.

Some of your antics have resulted in more rule changes, effective immediately. You might want to avoid breaking those if you're fond of staying alive.

But then again, there are ghosts. Maybe dying wouldn't be so bad after all.

[...ah, she had just assumed Mordecai was trying to find non-lethal options. Since he seems to be very anti-murder and all. Have a vaguely considering look.]

You would really be willing to do that?
forcegalactic: (wow I'm offended)

[personal profile] forcegalactic 2015-12-10 04:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Not me, of course. I was initially doin' this as a sort of peace offerin', get him to talk a bit more. Thought if I got more friendly with him, he'll open up.

...Progress ain't goin' too fast.

I don't know if I'd count on that. He's watching out for it now, after Ashley.

"Human error", he called it.
forcegalactic: (what the shit)

[personal profile] forcegalactic 2015-12-10 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah...

[He stops to look at his offering.]

Yeah, you may be right. But it's better than doin' nothin', I guess.
ninehundredlives: ([ don't you worry love ])

I suppose so...

You should leave one in the kitchen sometime. In case that Dio-thing comes back - it might take your food instead of trying to cook itself.
forcegalactic: (dum dee dum)

[personal profile] forcegalactic 2015-12-10 09:53 pm (UTC)(link)
...Sure, good idea. Sometime later, though, my arm's all tired from beatin' eggs and I still gotta do laundry.

[Sukuyo is right: once he's out, his wife is going to love how fit he got.]

I'm sure there's no rush. You'll have to see if Giovanni can leave the bee again anyway. Just to see what happens.
forcegalactic: Will edit this art so many times (pondering)

[personal profile] forcegalactic 2015-12-11 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
Time it together. We still need to see what form that shapeshifter is gonna take now that Dio is gone.

Who do you suppose is the next most distinctive person? Rick? Maybe the Inspector...

[He does sort of dance all over the place like that.]

I wonder why it does that anyway.
forcegalactic: (thinking)

[personal profile] forcegalactic 2015-12-11 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
He's pickin' a disguise, and it's so uncreative - or smart - that it picks one of us. Keeps ups guessin', tried to make us mistrust each other more. But like you saw last week, it didn't work.

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2015-12-11 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
But Dio? That was a terrible choice. Not that he was trustworthy, but we all knew he wandered around at night anyway.

[She wouldn't have been more bothered by him being in the kitchen at night than she was by anything else he did.]
forcegalactic: (Trouble's comin')

[personal profile] forcegalactic 2015-12-11 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
I dunno. I guess he thought we'd turn against him? Probably just a precaution he didn't think through enough.
ninehundredlives: ([ a tighter spring ])

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2015-12-11 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
It wouldn't have done any good to turn against him. What would we have done?

[They obviously completely lacked the resources to kill him, even if they were willing to risk execution over it.]
forcegalactic: WM/IL looks like a Christmas sweater (Common sense activate!)

[personal profile] forcegalactic 2015-12-11 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
[A brief noise that translates to "I have no idea," accompanied with a shrug.]

We'd be afraid of him, but we already know it's hard for him to leave durin' the day. Nothin' much would change, unless one of us wasn't thinkin' and tried to kill him.
ninehundredlives: ([ knock knock ])

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2015-12-11 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
That would have been stupid. Brave, but stupid.

[Even excepting aaaaaaaaall the vampire stuff, the man was enormous.]

All it would have meant was that we might be quicker to suspect him during a trial. Which...I don't think was a problem anyway. [like one person bought that frame job way to go dio]
