Week 6.

WEEK 6 Losing three people in one week isn't very nice, is it? Morty Smith, Rakka, and Dio Brando have all joined the deceased. It will be hard to forget them. It will be even harder to forget that execution and Dio's flying, screaming head. Life must go on though and as usual, the group has at least a little bit of time to recover. Saturday can be dedicated to rest and sleep; on Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock. The stairwells are clear of bodies; there's no more death to be dealt with for the time being. Unless, of course, you happened to recover something particularly unfortunate in your dreams... Once again, there's a new floor to explore; your reward for doing your job well. Some of your antics have resulted in more rule changes, effective immediately. You might want to avoid breaking those if you're fond of staying alive. But then again, there are ghosts. Maybe dying wouldn't be so bad after all. It's a little hard to feel safe after that, isn't it? But...but we can't give up.

Yeah... There's a lot more danger than we thought, but we can beat them. Even if it doesn't seem like it now.

Do you think it's true? That we'll be able to save everyone? Even Ashley, Rakka, Morty, and the others?

[swirlied]

[ He nods. ]

I think so. I don't think the Conductor would say that if it wasn't.

We all think that, but what if him bein' honest is part of the lie? I'm not sayin' we shouldn't believe him, but...we gotta be careful believin', too.

I really hope that's not the case... But you're right. We shouldn't take everything he says as one hundred percent truth.

It's too much to think about sometimes! My brain's gonna explode! Yuuri, quick, tell me somethin' good!

[ Something good? It's been a while since he's thought of anything good um... ]

Ice cream?

[ He tried. ]

I-ice cream?

...

Mm, yeah, ice cream would be pretty good, huh?

[ He nods. At least Hibiki went with it... ]

Maybe we should petition for some, or even an ice cream maker.

I'm always glad when we talk, but...y'know, I don't know much about what you do.

I guess not, huh... Lately, I've been doing stuff in my kingdom, but I can talk about what I do when I'm home in Japan if you want.

[ Since she didn't want to hear about him being a demon king before. ]
