Resistance Meeting 4: Live Free or Resist Hard

[ Early Saturday morning, long before the meeting could reasonably be expected to take place, there's a fresh note slipped under everyone's doors:

Please bring as many letters from the Conductor as you saved. Not only yours, but those of the deceased, if you have them/COULD find them. We NEED to compile what we know.

In the hopes of easing any understandable reluctance, every letter brought grants you the right to hear one of my secrets/embarrassing stories at your leisure.

Wow, that must have been a pain to write 10 times... let alone 26, just in case anyone else has been playing musical rooms. Or maybe Youko had insomnia last night. Who knows? What matters is that she'll be in the Conference Room from 9AM onwards, nursing a cup of that Anteiku Coffee and writing things sporadically into a notebook from time to time. She's... also still wearing Logan's spare goddamn clothes, because apparently that is going to be a thing.

But hey: at least there's two large plates piled with biscuits/cookies and the fancy candies from the kitchen! As well as 11 plates because we are not savages, oh my god. ]

[Also here's Hibiki's letters! Susan will just leave them on the table.]

I think he killed his coworkers last time. I'm not sure what that means for us...

[Reminding the Conductor of his coworkers doesn't really seem a safe avenue.]
blazeit: (who's this pleb)

He didn't kill all his coworkers. It's in one of the letters I sent. "I didn't kill all of them personally".

... Actually, I think some of his coworkers might still be alive.
ninehundredlives: ([ four minutes ])

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2015-12-15 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
He didn't kill them all personally. If they died in one of these things, that's still his fault.

Really? Do you think some are still working with him?
blazeit: (the truth is i hate u and wish u'd die)

[personal profile] blazeit 2015-12-15 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't think so... he might've mentioned something in one of his letters to me, I can check later to be sure. But I'm pretty sure he's not.

... And I don't think that the point of all of this was death and killing at first. Something must've happened along the way.
ninehundredlives: ([ and you're not coming ])

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2015-12-16 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
He told me this whole thing was his reward for...something. I think it was his plan, just not his organization's exactly.
blazeit: (i might be a bastard but you're stupid s)

[personal profile] blazeit 2015-12-16 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, he said that to me as well. But I think this is still... pretty closely linked to whatever projects it was he was working on. The world-affecting stuff. So it might be a mutually beneficial kinda deal?
ninehundredlives: ([ open up ])

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2015-12-16 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
They're obviously not opposed.

Has anyone got any idea how it was supposed to affect the world?
blazeit: (tfw u unironically think "he's hot here")

[personal profile] blazeit 2015-12-16 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
Not the specifics. But I'm pretty sure whatever method he used to transport all of us across space and time and different worlds is one of the results.
ninehundredlives: ([ knock knock ])

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2015-12-16 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe all the supplies in that ledger were for some kind of space army.

[She's only being like 65% facetious.]
blazeit: (he smol)

[personal profile] blazeit 2015-12-16 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
At this point, that's not even the most stupid yet vaguely plausible theory I can think of.

... He did mention to me that most of his coworkers were scientists, but there were soldiers and investigators.
ninehundredlives: ([ the lamb ])

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2015-12-17 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
God, that had better not be it.
blazeit: (ok but consider this: fuck you)

[personal profile] blazeit 2015-12-17 02:03 am (UTC)(link)
I mean, brainwashing in the army is a thing, right. We could totally be sleeper agents or something... God, I hope that's really not it.
ninehundredlives: ([ i'm going somewhere ])

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2015-12-17 02:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Ugh, don't say that. That'd be terrible.
blazeit: (that little bastard!!!!!!)

[personal profile] blazeit 2015-12-17 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that would be a whole new realm of fucked up than what I'm currently willing to consider... and there's no substantial proof for it.
ninehundredlives: ([ don't you worry love ])

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2015-12-18 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
No, not really. It's not worth worrying over now...
blazeit: (shitlord levels unusually low rn)

[personal profile] blazeit 2015-12-19 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
We can worry about what we're walking into when we get out of here when we actually get outta here, yeah.

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2015-12-19 05:18 pm (UTC)(link)
One thing at a time.
blazeit: (hey there douchecanoe)

[personal profile] blazeit 2015-12-15 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Wait, why do you think Lisbeth was a coworker of his?

Either way, I'm like 90% sure he doesn't consider us coworkers.
blazeit: (stupid ass fuckmunch)

[personal profile] blazeit 2015-12-16 01:55 pm (UTC)(link)
... Never mind, then.
