Resistance Meeting 4: Live Free or Resist Hard

[ Early Saturday morning, long before the meeting could reasonably be expected to take place, there's a fresh note slipped under everyone's doors:

Please bring as many letters from the Conductor as you saved. Not only yours, but those of the deceased, if you have them/COULD find them. We NEED to compile what we know.

In the hopes of easing any understandable reluctance, every letter brought grants you the right to hear one of my secrets/embarrassing stories at your leisure.

Wow, that must have been a pain to write 10 times... let alone 26, just in case anyone else has been playing musical rooms. Or maybe Youko had insomnia last night. Who knows? What matters is that she'll be in the Conference Room from 9AM onwards, nursing a cup of that Anteiku Coffee and writing things sporadically into a notebook from time to time. She's... also still wearing Logan's spare goddamn clothes, because apparently that is going to be a thing.

But hey: at least there's two large plates piled with biscuits/cookies and the fancy candies from the kitchen! As well as 11 plates because we are not savages, oh my god. ]

...oh, right, I did get this during an investigation, as well. As you can see, Ashley had far better luck than I did.

[ Youko realizes that is PROBABLY unimportant, but... well, it's striking, not that hers have been Ashley or Hibiki-tier. ]

Yes, they were pretty short. That's probably why I didn't get that much information, honestly... but I do prefer to be succinct with this kind of thing.

Right, right. I hate to admit it, but my desire to write to the man dropped off dramatically after that business with Chie, so I doubt that I'll have much more to report on this front unless I find any other letters.

You're far from alone, I believe. That's a healthy human reaction.

...Not that she's including herself in the 'stopped feeling like talking to the man who killed my friends' club, because the Conductor was literally her first experience in holding onto anger at someone for more than two weeks. (Caring consistently is hard, y'know?) It's easy to separate whatever feelings she has from her curiousity, because they rarely touch to begin with.

There's a disgust slowly, slowly coming into existence deep inside of her, but it's small. Negligible. ]

Well, I am going to say that I feel like the previous incentives were at least in the ballpark of sporting, given that they didn't necessarily pose a risk to anyone outside of where we're being held.

That particular one was just a bit too below the belt, I think. I'd be less annoyed if it wasn't couched in "oh, this is your fault, you need to take responsibility, never mind the fact that I'm effectively blackmailing some of you into murdering someone."
