Wednesday morning is off to a strange start. Anyone awake shortly after the morning chimes go off will be greeted with the mildly bizarre sight of candles set up in rows along the hallways; they seem to be forming a path leading somewhere upstairs. [Multiple objects and a hell of a lot of blunt force trauma, yep. Also powder burns all over from what look like explosions at close range, but strangely enough, none of those explosions seem to have hit him directly.]

I mean, unless there's somebody else that is unaccounted for, I can only think of two possibilities. The first is whoever's controlling that shadow thing... or maybe the shadow thing is a part of him, I dunno.

The other is that God guy that Observant kept talking about.

Well, I guess we'll have to figure it out sooner or later. I mean, it's a dead body, at this point I feel like investigating dead bodies to figure out why they're dead now is collectively our morbid group thing.

When we get outta here, I say we make our new group thing mountain hiking. It's healthy and people generally don't die doing it.

Not like stuff with ropes and sub-freezing temperatures in the dead of winter, just like... scenic routes you can walk nice and slow, you know? It's pretty refreshing.
