Final Investigation.

You've all done very well to make it this far, but it's not over yet. The Conductor has been silent for the past few days. An uneasy peace has fallen. No one else has died, but does that really mean we're getting close to the end? But then, perhaps it's time to take some initiative of your own - to hold someone accountable for things they actually did, rather than punishing your own for acting out in a situation none of you asked to be in. A couple of you have some unused keys that you might want to try to use on the seventh floor. There's a room along the southern wall that hasn't been opened yet; that might be a good place to start. Are you ready for the final investigation? [OOC: Once you've gotten the western wing of the building open, the floors you'll be working with will look like this, with rooms A and B on each floor open for investigation; the red area in the southwestern corner of the floorplan contains a spiral staircase that leads between floors, though after the fourth floor down, the door leading into the building proper will be locked. Those four floors are yours to explore, though!]

[As much as it might be a terrible idea to send all the teenagers off on their own, Susan's glad to have Giovanni with her. He's one of her last friends left standing, after all. Best to keep an eye on him...people have been dying so suddenly lately.]

Elise did mention these floors were up here. Apparently he didn't think whatever was in them concerned her...

[She creeps towards the doorway of room A, peering in with one hand tucked in the pocket of her jacket.]

[Yeah, usually it seems like a bad idea to split the party... but he's not really sure if they're on a time limit or not, and it's best to cover as much ground as possible as quickly as possible.]

Right, I remember that. It's... very him to be cagey about it, though, so I guess we're going to have to figure things our for ourselves.

...Do you want to split up again? Beedrill flies more quickly than a human walks, so I can have him check back and forth between us to make sure we're alright.

[This room is both cold and tiled as well, though thankfully it looks like you've avoided the morgue.

...Not-so-thankfully, you've got a table in the center of the room that looks like it's supposed to be used for medical procedures. There are also cabinets lining the walls, if you'd rather not deal with the... that.]

The table here looks like it would be something used for autopsies... but there are restraints on it. So uh. That's a thing.]

[...there's no stains on it or anything, are there... nothing too unusual about it other than the restraints?]

[The restraints are worn. Like, really worn. They also look insanely strong, so that's... something.]

[...yeah, let's feel those restraints to see if they're a material he recognizes. Are they leather, or...?

[Yeah, he's probably done there. Let's take a look at the cabinets, then! How many are we looking at?

[The first thing you'll probably notice is that this room is cold. The floor is tiled instead of the usual carpet. There are some cabinets along one wall of the room... and along the other are steel lockers.

One guess what this room is.]

But weird sidequests have turned up useful things before, both here and in Susan's personal life. It's not even like she's that put off by morgues anymore - god knows she's seen dead bodies in much nastier states.

Susan walks over to inspect the cabinets.]

[The cabinets aren't really all that interesting, just a place to put things. Don't worry, nothing will attack you if you want to open them.]

[Congratulations, you've found... Chie's camera? Yep, that's definitely Chie's camera. There are other assorted items in here as well... and you'll probably recognize that they all belong to the deceased Participants.]

[That's...better that what she expected? The shadow monster is apparently dead, so light sources aren't especially vital any longer, but after a moment of hesitation Susan takes Chie's camera and hangs it around her neck anyway. What if there's another one

Are these all objects that people had on them during executions?]

This cabinet has some notes in the Conductor's handwriting. They aren't complete, but there is a list of titles - Abiding, Dauntless, Dynamic, Sovereign.]
