Most of the week has come and gone in relative peace; it's an uneasy peace, but the fact is that it exists, and sometimes that's the most one can ask for. Perhaps this week has passed relatively painlessly, and no one's decided to find out what your captor means by that last rule of his; perhaps the communal lifestyle has remained undisturbed, whether due to the lack of threat to everyone's well-being from any sort of outside source or just because no one sees a reason to push their luck. Or perhaps somebody decided to be a damn overachiever and take some initiative. Only one way to find out, isn't there? >Explore?

Ms. Ashworth has already offer to examine the body; she's a nurse, so she's in the best position to do so. But we can get him down between the two of us.

[So how difficult will it be to untie this? Will it come undone when he starts to pull on any loose knot he can find, or is it pretty tightly done?]

[It's pretty tightly-done, and the fact that there's what looks to be light bloodstains on the knotwork isn't going to help much.

Fortunately enough, though, it's one of those knots that'll come undone if you can look at it long enough and work it out.]

Susan winces a little as he comes down, but she sets her jaw and approaches anyhow. It's not as if she hasn't seen worse, and it has to be done. She kneels down alongside him - what is immediately noticeable about the corpse?]

The rope's going to need to be moved to get a proper look at the neck, so why don't we just look at that. What's its condition?]

[There's some blood on the knots here as well - but interestingly enough, there's no blood or open wounds on Kaneki.]
