Rise and shine. There are a few things that matter right now - the fact that you're waking up in an unfamiliar but decently comfortable bed, the fact that you don't recognize the room you're in, the fact that you seem to have some sort of headache... Nothing severe, mind. Just the sort of odd, heavy fuzziness that comes with having slept far too long. You don't really remember where you were immediately before this, not upon waking. Something will come to you eventually if you think long enough, however - a couple of seconds of consideration will bring to mind a place, a memory, a recollection of where you were and what you were doing. It probably wasn't anything that would result in you being here, though. Welcome to Graceside Preparatory Academy. You may want to pick up the key to your room before you leave the room, but don't worry too much - your door won't lock automatically, so you won't be locked out if you've forgotten to pick it up. It seems you're not alone, either; the hallway outside your room is most likely full of other confused people by now, and should you turn around to look at the door of the room you just left, you'll find a nameplate with your name printed on it. There's a single word underneath it with no explanation. This is your title, but don't worry about that right now. Depending on when you left your room there may be a clock chiming in the foyer up ahead. It seems like it's seven, though it's difficult to tell if it's seven in the morning or seven at night. There aren't any windows, after all. Should you venture into the room with the clock, you'll find that the only exit is closed - there's absolutely no way to break down that steel bulkhead. It looks like you're not getting out of here anytime soon. The foyer also holds some very interesting information. There's a bulletin board with thirty-five pictures on it. Beside each picture is some very specific and very familiar information. Feel free to examine it. The bulletin board is large enough for plenty of you to gather around and gawk. Don't try to get at it though, that glass in front of it is very thick. If you try to break it, you'll find out the hard way that it's shatterproof. Sorry about that. Perhaps even more of a concern than the glass is the list beside the profiles. It looks like a set of rules. You might want to examine those, though they're not providing much of an explanation for why you're here or how you got here. So relax and get to know your fellow Participants. You might be stuck here for awhile.

[Well, this is... different. Concerning. He remembers where he was before he arrived here, and it is definitely not the sort of situation in which he would fall asleep, not now. Not with how important everything was resting on...

Waking up, the first thing he does is check his surroundings, realize he doesn't appear to be in immediate danger, and look for anyone else who might have been kidnapped in the halls.]

Heeeey, there! You wouldn't happen to know where we are, would you?

[He's betting on not, but. You know.

Later, he can be found staring at the profiles.]

Wh-what? What is this? You'd think more care would go into accurate information with this kind of dedication!

[Even later, he can be found at the rules. He isn't even yelling angrily at the wall this time, he's just staring in what's probably horror.]

[Archer's reading the rules first but at Cabanela's exclamation he glances over. It doesn't take him long to read over his own profile and his expression shifts a bit to something mildly confused.]

...Interesting. I wonder where they got this information.

[He then locates this man's profile on the board. Cabanela, huh? That's also interesting.]

[ well, that sure is a headache. at first orihime thinks that she's simply rolled off the bed and hit her head on the floor again, but when she blearily blinks her eyes open and looks at her surroundings...this isn't home anymore.

it's empty. it feels.....cold? very closed off without any natural light coming in. how odd. orihime pats her cheeks, staring at her toes for a second. she's dreaming? ah, it's a possibility. well....may as well start to look around.

orihime exits her room (room #11) and wanders down the hallway. to anyone nearby, she will approach them, looking at them curiously. she does not recognize anyone here--figments of her imagination, maybe? ]

[ soon, she can be found at the profiles. she's busy staring at her own, but doesn't really react like how you might expect: ]

Wow, this really is a dream! It's a very vivid one, isn't it?

[ Wow, with hair that bright... nah, she looks too nice to be Capitol. Katniss looks at Orihime, then the profile, and she raises both eyebrows. ]

A dream makes more sense than anything on [ she jerks a thumb at the profiles ] these.

[ She wakes up expecting two warm bodies next to her. Three, counting Buttercup. But Katniss wakes alone, and it's pretty jarring. For a while she doesn't say or do anything; she just sits at the edge of her bed, mouth set in a tight, thin line. Her mother has never been present much, so it's Prim's absence she feels most acutely.

Then, there's nothing left to do but get up and leave the room. She does snag her key, of course. Katniss pokes her head out of the room, and this is... well. Her room itself is bigger than her whole house, and this place? Who knows how big it is? Bigger than the Hob, probably. Katniss takes a step out. Locks the door. Then another step, and she's walking.

She notices the rules, and they seem... well, Katniss isn't happy about them. She can't leave, there's what seems to be a curfew, and-- ]

What the hell?

[ Someone's noticed the last four rules. Her face goes pale, and she feels sick. She wants to leave, more than anything, so she goes about feeling around the walls for a way out. It's almost manic in a way, but very purposeful.

When her search doesn't prove fruitful, she goes along her way and notices the profiles. Some of them are pretty weird, sure, but hers? There's stuff that doesn't make sense. But Katniss figures it's just some Capitol bullshit, so she ignores it and heads on to the kitchen.

Katniss breathes out a sigh, eyes wide when she searches through everything. Candies, all the meat she can get--it's not stuff she's taken down herself, but there's so much of it--and bread that doesn't look worse than it tastes, milk that tastes different from the goat's milk she's used to... and so, so much more.

Needless to say, she's in here for a while. ]

[ Katniss isn't the only one surprised by the kitchen. Jean comes from a place where farmland is limited and government enforced ration limiting is a familiar occurrence. The sight of so much food is enough to blow him away - and literally never mind all the fancy appliances they're kept in. He can't even think about those right now. ]

You could feed a whole squadron with everything in here...!

[ Sorry, Katniss. He's not trying to snoop over your shoulder, but it's easy to pull off when he's got 4 solid inches on her. ]

[Waking up in an unfamiliar location when he should have been on a train is not Archer's idea of a good time. It's more than a little concerning and he's quick to get up, snatch the silver key from the desk, and head out to investigate his surroundings. Maybe there's some kind of explanation for this. He makes his way to the foyer immediately, following the sound of the clock chiming.

It probably isn't surprising that the rules catch Archer's attention first. He reads through all of them without any change in his rather stiff expression and once he's done with those he turns to the profiles. You can find him here for quite some time reading through everything, including your profile. Any commentary he has on this is kept to himself, but he seems very absorbed in what he's reading. Some of the information on his own profile is absolutely baffling and he needs a moment to process it.

Later on you can find him staring at the bulkhead. He doesn't approach it, he's just sort of considering their options. He hasn't seen a single open window either...]

[ Jean is having a shit day (and who isn't, really?) but he's at least managed to bring himself from 'panicked and pissed off' down to a nice, steady baseline of 'aggravated'. The sudden question is a bit of surprise, but he's had enough time to look around that he's able to answer readily enough. ]

Looks like they really want to keep something out.

[ There's a pause before he adds, somewhat begrudgingly: ]

[...okay, this isn't exactly how Sayaka expected to wake up this morning.

Granted, she was starting her first day of class in Hope's Peak soon, so waking up in a bed as cushy and comfortable as this was...a tad offputting. Like, the dorm beds were nice and all? But not this nice. So when Sayaka wakes up and practically rushes out into the Hallway, she's...looking awful confused, and to the nearest person she sees.]

Oh, my god...what's going on here? Did I take the wrong boat?

[...Eventually, her wandering takes her over to the foyer, where she's far more apt to go read those profiles. The people here...they aren't all high schoolers, and that's definitely setting off the alarm bells in Sayaka's mind. But, more importantly...]

Nineteen? Well, that's just incorrect...along with some of these ages too. There's no way any of these people are over a thousand years old...

[...after that observation's out of the way, Sayaka goes to work on attempting to pronounce the surnames of everyone here. She'll keep it relatively quiet, even as she stares intently at the board, but maybe she'd appreciate the help if she's stumbling. She'll. Probably do that a little bit.

The final course of action for Sayaka will be checking out the Kitchen and the food inside. Everything here is so amazing looking, honestly! She might need to take a moment to be in awe of it, but all the same, it looks like she's actually setting up some utensils to cook. Of course, if anyone comes inside, Sayaka will be quick to turn around and wave.]

[ Well, Katniss is already in here! It's hers now. It's a habit to hoard food, and Katniss instinctively pulls her plate of meats and cheeses closer to herself. ]

It's open to everyone, isn't it?

[Estelle knows something’s off the moment she awakens. Maybe it’s because she feels off, but most importantly, she can’t feel the movement of being on a ship. Along with her headache, everything feels wrong, still it makes sense. Given how she’s been feeling with the recent events in her world it would be weird if she felt even okay.

She notes the key and grabs it before she leaves her room, room 6, and looks around. It’s… not familiar to her at all as she cautiously looks around. Her expression is pensive, one way is more rooms, but in front of her she can see common rooms and decides to look there. The kitchen is in her line of sight so there she goes first.

The level of technology is odd for her, but she looks through the cupboards before she decides to look elsewhere. Like the ballroom. It’s the next room that catches her attention and it reminds her of being in the castle. She feels comfortable here, at least, and spends a few moments here. Sitting at the piano, her fingers press a few of the keys before she decides she’s bored of that and moves on.

It's then that she probably notices the crowd of people and looks at the profiles…]

What…? Who is everyone and…

[It’s not just her own profile she recognizes. There’s another person and she immediately wonders…]

Yuri? Yuri, where are you? Are you here?

[She doesn’t recognize anyone else, but if his profile is on there then maybe he’s here too! After all, everyone she sees crowding the profiles is on there from what she’s noticed. She’s already matching names to faces. Memorizing said names, ages, occupations and…

…likes and dislikes…]

This information… it doesn’t seem right. [Yet she’s still apprehensive since, well, it has just enough right that she can say it’s creepy. Her attention next goes to the rules.]

I… don’t want to be trapped here, but that sounds like an awful rule to follow if we want to escape.

[ she pauses for a good moment, eyes widening in horror. she, too, has become apprehensive, and grabs at her arm with one hand. ]

[ It's honestly not even a lie that he's been way more disconcerted than he is when he wakes up. But he was in the middle of something, and moreover he doesn't recognize this place, and that's a bit too many inconveniences too many. It's kind of novel, but that's the only thing this situation has going for it. Terumi doesn't waste time setting out of the room he woke up, but feel free to run into him as he pays absolutely no one any mind. He's certainly not moving out of the way if you're in his path either.

Eventually he arrives at the profiles, and he likely sticks out like a sore thumb even among everyone else here. While the hideous yellow-orange jacket he's wearing is attention grabbing enough, what's more so is what he's saying, in between hysterical laughter. ]

Keheheh...you've got to be kiddin' me, is this some type of joke? Oh man, we're jumping all over the timeline aren't we?

[ So there's that. And later on Terumi can be found by the vending machine, looking like he's about a second away from kicking it with a scowl on his face. At least it's not a person (yet)?]

Timeline? What are you talking about?

[The hysterical laughter is a little... concerning, but that part sticks out and he's curious, so here we are.]

[The fuzziness is to be expected. But when Susan comes fully to her senses - well. She can't think of much good explanation for this.

By the time she gets out into the hall, there's no clear distress on her face. Only the tension in her shoulders, and the wary glances she darts around. Noting the names on the doors, she walks up and down the hall to take note of the others as well. She's not seeking out conversation, exactly, but should she catch anyone's eye, she'll ask:]

I guess you don't know where we are either?

[Later, of course, she finds the profiles and realizes that she needn't have checked all the doors at all. Standing in front of them, Susan makes a disapproving noise.]

[After things have settled slightly, Susan can also be found in the storage room. She's going through the boxes, like she's taking inventory - only slipping things into her pockets when she thinks no one's looking. Little things, like a box of matches or some rations. She's not sure what she'll need, but all of that could help in a lot of different circumstances.]

[Archer enters the storage room some time after Susan and he studies the place for a moment before moving to check out some of the supplies. It's not that he hasn't noticed her, though, and he'll eventually speak up.]

Are you taking inventory?

[This still isn't Rokkenjima. One moment you are in the ship that'll take you there, the next moment you are in a room you don't know. Kyrie gets off the bed, alarmed, and examines her surroundings. Nothing is familiar.

Staying locked in this room doesn't appeal to her, though. She decides to carefully go explore, see what's going on, and try to find out her location on Earth. She can't be too far away from Rokkenjima or the neighboring islands, right?

Okay, first things first: talk with people. She's not alone here, and there are so many here. Someone has to know something]

Excuse me, but may I ask who are you? Who do I need to talk to? I'm unaware what's going on here.

[Kyrie is calm, almost friendly, but right now there's not much time for pleasantries.

Okay, that's a tad more alarming: no windows, no doors besides that bulkhead...they're all perfectly locked inside a building. Kyrie knocks on the bulkhead]

We're all trapped in here. If there are no windows and this is the only way out, then whoever got us all here must be outside, they wouldn't risk staying trapped in here. Could I be correct?

[Yes, she's talking to you. Analyze the situation, maybe it'll help you feel better]

[Estelle's looking into the eastern corridor from outside her room when Kyrie approaches her before she gives her a smile while shaking her head.]

My name is Estellise, however, I haven't a clue as to what's going on here either.

[ Sleeping for too long is certainly not the sort of thing Angel is used to, these days, so it takes her a second to remember the feeling as she wakes. Not helping is the fact that she's sleeping on a bed, free of... well, free of a lot of things, suddenly, but she can't help but feel like whatever this is might be worse.

She pulls herself out of bed and slowly makes her way down the halls, taking several opportunities to lean against the wall for support as she looks around. And to lean on the wall for support as she walks in general, her legs are not here for this. This... doesn't make sense, none of this makes sense... ]

I'm definitely not on Pandora anymore...

[ She soon can be found examining the profiles or the rules, looking... thoughtful, pensive. No point in panicking now, that might give whoever's running the show an opening. ]

Graceside Preparatory Academy... this is way too elegant, for Pandora. The commitment to murder seems about the same, though. Hm...

[ Later still she can be found sifting through the kitchen, apparently trying to figure out or remember what all the various foods... are. Look, the girl eats rocks to live, okay, it's been a while since she saw a real kitchen. ]

[ She's searching for a weakness, a way out, when she spots the girl. She's... small, thin, even thinner than Prim. It stirs something inside her, and while she's not a touchy-feely person (except with Prim), she holds out a hand when she walks over. ]

Good morning, evening, or probably not a time in between, cutie! Wow, this picture up here really doesn't do you justice, does it?

[That's how she starts off her sales pitch once she's settled in the foyer, right by the profiles; she's not sure why she's here, let alone here today, but here she is, and if she's here, she might as well try to get her bearings.]

You mind if I ask you a couple of questions? It won't take long, promise!

[When she's not playing twenty questions with anyone that will humor her, she explores; one location of particular interest is the kitchen, where she, much like anyone her height or smaller, does the logical thing and climbs up on the counter to see if there's anything hidden on top of the fridge or up in the highest cupboards. If someone comes in, she'll waste no time in saying-]

...but really, this is... okay. Tarrlok gets up. He processes things for a moment, rubbing his temples... yes. He'd been on the way to a council meeting to discuss the mounting threat to the city, and... now he was in some sparse room that most certainly wasn't his.

...Also his hair is a mess. Right. So he'll attend to that quickly, try to... bend some water to take with him...

Right, so now he is purposefully striding out the door into the hallway with, perhaps, the confidence of someone who is trying very hard to seem calm and collected and not panicking, although he does mutter to himself as he leaves the room...]

...that was far too easy. What on earth are they playing at?

[...after presumably having some conversations that raise far more questions than answers, he finds himself in the foyer. He's looking over the bulkhead first, and then... turning to the profiles. And the rules. And, finally, to you.]

...well. I can't say I've ever had to deal with a situation like this before, but... we're definitely going to need more information than just this mess to get through this.

[Archer's still studying the profiles when Tarrlok speaks up, but he turns his attention to the other man quickly enough.]

Agreed. I'm not entirely sure what they're playing at here, but this doesn't tell us much.

[He looks interested, though.]

[ Her first realization is that it's far too bright. The moment she opens her red eyes, the woman winces, putting a hand over them as her headache worsens. This... isn't anywhere she recognizes. This isn't anywhere in the manor, the the decor isn't actually too far off from it.

She snarls a little as she stands, expecting to see someone else, but when there's no one in the room but eerie silence, sporting a nice purple dress, the woman steps out into the halls, stepping out from her room (#25) and... is going to immediately accost someone in the halls. Intending to swiftly pin someone against the wall, she holds her claws (well, long lady fingernails) up as if ready to use them as a weapon and: ]

Who're you?

[ Her face will only relent a little if you happen to be a teenage girl.

But after that, she sets out to look at the profiles ( . . . Well that's disconcerting, to be sure), which she lingers at for some time, frowning and tapping her foot as she probably needed to weave around others to get there.

Finally, though, she ends up in the ballroom, sitting at the piano but not quite playing as she's more holding her hands over her eyes and leaning her elbows against it. Like she meant to play, but then her headache worsened. Ugh. ]

[This isn't the first time Fern's woken up in an unfamiliar place and it won't be the last. They've taken her weapons this time though, that's new. She skulks about her room warily, tapping the desk to see if it starts singing about the food pyramid. Except now its a square and one of the sections is just "fur".

She spends far too much time marveling over a working shower and bathroom, but she can't risk it just yet. Its far, far too likely to be a trick. No, she has to sneak outside in the halls peering around corners anxiously. One of these rooms has a talking stomach in there, she just knows it.

After confirmed she isn't the only human in a world of monsters and mayhem, she relaxes enough to bother reading the rules and profiles. She squints at it warily for an extended period before eventually piping up.] Yeah, that sounds about right.

[ Well that's interesting. Fern is... actually green. When Jean had looked over the profiles earlier he'd been assuming is was some sort of weird artistic license but apparently not. So that earns her a, frankly, weirded out stare, but it's what she says that actually gets his attention. ]

Hold on. Yours is right?

[ Things Alex didn't expect to happen when she tuned into the whatever-it-is in the cave: This.

She wakes up well enough, not surprised by the headache because honestly the moment that static started buzzing about she already started feeling a little woozy, you know? No, what does surprise her is the comfy bed. Did she dream all of that? Ren's stupid nagging, Clarissa's bitchiness, and...Jonas? Dream-vomit anxiety all over her mind 'cause of finally meeting her new brother (the attic, how could mom let them--) and paint out the worst possible scenario.

(...Okay maybe not the worst. As far as step-brothers go, he could be--)

...No, this is not her beautiful bed. This is not her beautiful room. One blink and she can tell that, the walls are bare and there isn't a single stuffed animal on the bed. ...Or next to it, those things are hard to keep from going overboard, after all.

There can be only one conclusion, and that's that the radio-voices got angry and plopped her into a...weird hotel? Sure. She'll go with it.

Alex looks around the room -- no radio, okay that's...weird -- and examines herself -- did her hands get this dirty from just crawling around the cave? -- and in the end ventures out into the hallway, clearly not expecting to see so many rooms. She's going to try knocking on the doors close to hers, the one she sees as room #9. This is before she realizes they have names on them, so...oops. (Odd, why's there only her first name? Why's that word there, submerged? Goosebumps, all over her body--)

After likely disturbing a few people, she starts wandering down the halls, reading over names and searching for any familiar ones. ]

Jonas? Not again- Jonas! Uh... Ren, Nona? ... [ Not even a freaky abduction will- ] Clarissa...? [ Fine, just this once.

Of course, eventually Alex finds her way to the main event -- the profiles. She makes a beeline to hers once she sees the familiar face and something's instantly wrong. She scoffs. ]

What, did they not know what last name to put...? [ ...Okay, wait, after a few more moments- ] And what's- what gives, N-slash-A, I'll N-slash-A them!

[ ...The main event would probably better be described as the rules but that's- give her a moment to have be #priorities these profiles are weird.

Once all that's through and presumably she's seen uh...the rules, she takes to knocking again, this time at the office. This is after she oh-so-rudely tries to just yank the door open, like some kind of adventurer in a video game, only to find it locked. ...There's no answer, why would there be any answer. Look, if she can't click her radio on and find out what's going on, she might as well try and use her oh-so-charming personality.

...When there's still no answer after a minute or two of this? She just groans, leans against the door, and slides down it. Fine. Two can play at this game, she'll wait. ]

[The first thing Caren feels is panic when her eyes snap open. She flails with more force than it takes to move in air and promptly, unprincesslike, falls off the bed.

Nobody is hearing about this.

She gets to her feet and walks out to the hallways, key in hand, to take note of everyone around her.]

No one I know... Same for you?

[Caren also checks out the laundry room because I'm terrible, stares, and takes note of the stock. Next, it's off to the foyer to read the profiles and rules.]

[Weiss shakes her head.]

No one I know, either. It's strange, right?

[Odd--he didn't quite remember having fallen asleep. Yes, Gilgamesh got terribly boring to listen to when he went off on one tangent or another, but Kirei was sure he hadn't been so painfully dull as to reach nearly that point today. More pressing of an issue was the fact that he wasn't entirely certain where he was--this wasn't the church, after all. Upon hearing the chiming of a clock he stepped out of his room and glanced at the door--'Inquisitive'? How very...appropriate, even if he wasn't sure of the purpose.]

[A matter of moments later found Kirei staring critically at the rules and profiles, hand brought to his face in a gesture of deep concentration. It seemed Rin was here as well--he'd have to seek her out and determine if she knew anything more about the situation at hand. The seventh rule in particular was one that drew his attention; just what manner of game was being played here?]

[ She's gotten, like, one good look at the guy, and she already doesn't like his face. Katniss realizes she's staring, and she turns her attention to the profiles. ]

They're a joke.

[ Sounds like she's trying to convince herself. ]

[She wakes up, and the first thing that's jarring when juxtaposed with her last memory is the relative peacefulness of her surroundings. The atmosphere is less foreboding than she remembers it, the air less stale... It brings her out of the bed as soon as she realizes the difference, looking around with a frown at the room she finds herself in.

Once she sees the key, she doesn't hesitate long before she's out of the door and walking through the hallway. Though she seems determined and attentive, she seems composed as well. The first person she sees will be met with a glance and some firm, but not cruel, words.]

Who are you? Do you know how we came to be here?

[When those answers prove fruitless, she can be found gazing at the profiles, and looking towards anyone who seems to be doing the same...]

Is the information they list by your portrait fairly truthful as well?

[...And, of course, she can be found by the rules afterwards.]

[For a very long moment, Weiss just lies in bed. This isn't Atlas, and she's not sure whether she should be glad about that or not. On the one hand, at least she's away from her father, but on the other? That probably isn't a good thing. You know, he is not sure what he thinks of this?

On the one hand, this is certainly and objectively better than the last place he woke up, although the décor is leaving a lot to be desired; on the other, the fact that there's such a jarring difference between there and here is cause for at least mild concern, he's sure, and the fact that he doesn't remember how he got here... Well. "Not remembering things" is something that just doesn't happen to him. So that's a little...hm.

However bizarre the situation may be, though, it's something that's inciting more curiosity than alarm; there are a few things that he verifies, just personally, before leaving the room (he doesn't like the answers, though he...supposes...in some vague way that one saves him the trouble of questioning one of the others) but once he's done that, out of the room he goes, slipping that key left on the trunk into his pocket as he does so.

The steel bulkhead in the foyer isn't the first thing to catch his attention (the kitchen is weird but probably fun what with all the appliances, the storage room has all sorts of odd things in there that he blatantly predates, the laundry room is sheer fucking witchcraft and he wants nothing to do with it right now) but it's certainly the first thing that holds it there; he approaches it evenly, head cocked to the side slightly as he considers it, hands folded behind his back, and for a long time he just...stays there. He can be found there physically interacting with it in various vague ways for a while; the primary thing he keeps going back to is running one of his hands over it, his gaze strange and distant, and once in a while his hand is joined by the other, and god knows what's on his mind here but whatever it is, it's clear that it's going to be staying in his head, where it belongs.]

It's a charming prison, isn't it? This entire setup is almost pointlessly elaborate.

Of course, the profiles and the rules do catch his attention; he'll spend a fair amount of time studying both, though he pauses a bit at the last several rules listed.]

[Luca's first thought upon waking up is that he is in someone else's bedroom. Not an entirely out of the ordinary occurrence, but an awkward one still. Especially since he doesn't remember going out the previous night. Hmm. Was he really that drunk?

Luca carefully and quietly collects himself, and he goes to sneak out of the room before he is caught by whoever owns it. Of course, as he sneaks out, he ends up in the hallway outside of room 7, and he quickly finds out that he's not in a house at all. If anything, this is one of the dorms on campus.

Well shit.

Luca glances around quickly, trying to figure out just which building he is in so he knows which housefather he will need to be dodging today. The only problem is, he doesn't recognize the building at all, and he's almost afraid to ask.]

...Ah. This is quite the predicament, it seems.

[That is said more to himself than to anyone in particular, but feel free to overhear and come across Luca.

Much later, after getting his bearings a bit better, Luca can be found near the rules. He is frowning at them, torn between disbelief and worry. There's no way any of it could be true, such experiments would definitely not be sanctioned at all, but there are some weird people out there. Weird people who could potentially cause problems.

This time, when Luca speaks, he actually is talking to someone else. Namely, whoever is near him.]

Well this is all very unreasonable. It can't be university-sanctioned at all.

[When he wakes up Yosuke is so convinced it's a dream that he just... lays in bed for awhile, waiting for it to fade. With all the TV diving to save Yukiko, he hadn't been sleeping well anyways, so he had quite a few weird dreams.

It doesn't fade, and crawling panic runs through his chest. And of course his next assumption is that he's in the TV himself. The killer snagged him and tossed him in and he was going to end up like Saki-senpai. Nevermind that he already had Jiriya and so his Shadow couldn't pop out.

Right?

Eventually he slips out and people might see him in the hallways, practically glued to the walls and looking like he expects anyone he sees to come charging at him.

Once he realizes that, hey, the people around here aren't Shadows he can be found in the foyer, reading the rules and profiles]

A kidnapping?! Fucking really, now?! Anyone with the cogliones to kidnap a mafia heiress must be either very powerful, very stupid, or some kind of mixture of the two. But while her fists are clenched tightly at her sides, nails digging into palms ready to strike something at a moment's notice, a short fuse burning up by the second? She's at least trying her hardest not to fly off the handle, for now, anyway.

But she can't help herself, when she takes her first look at the profiles. While they had initially seemed like they could be a reliable source of information (if only because hers, at least, was, for better or for worse [she's going to venture worse]), well... ]

[Rin awakens feeling disoriented, staring groggily at the ceiling a moment before bolting upright. It's not that this room is unfamiliar (it is, and that kicks in a moment later), but that moments ago she was outside. Just how hard was she hit?

Any other time Rin would first stop to examine her surroundings, but she doesn't bother with this room after taking note of the sealed off windows. She feels exhausted, but it's with a sense of urgency that Rin exits Room 14, the door loudly slamming from the force she pushes it open with. Entering the hallway, she makes a brisk path for wherever is away from here, frowning at the various nameplates she passes. Was there one on hers too?

Eventually Rin's pace slows, just enough so she can read a few of the names. She doesn't linger, but her gaze is purposeful, as if she's looking for someone in particular. Anyone she comes across is eyed warily, however, with a sharp glance that only softens when she realizes most of these people look as confused as she feels.]

What is that witch trying to pull? [This is muttered irritably, largely to herself as she continues on.] This isn't her style.

(B. Foyer)

[Once she gets through reading the various bulletins hung up in the foyer, Rin has entirely new reasons to be worried. The rules catch her off guard, visibly startling her before she reads them again with narrowed eyes, but she's recovered by the time she reaches the profiles. Including her own, she reads each and every one of them calmly... with the exception of one in particular, which makes her sigh heavily. When she thought she'd find someone from home here, she wasn't thinking of him.

Well, she's not going to search him out, even if Kirei's insight is welcome for once. Either he'll find her or she'll run into him eventually. Whenever it happens is too soon in her book, so Rin gives the profiles a second read.]

I don't recognize the names of some of these locations, and the ones I do are somewhat odd. [This remark is made to whoever happens to be around, cordial but business-like.] What do you think?

(C. Miscellaneous)

[Eventually, Rin moves on to explore the rest of their little prison, familiarizing herself with the space. She tries the locked doors of both the office and the stairwell, rapping her knuckles against the latter as if trying to determine how thick it is. Moving on from those, she's surprised by how elegant many of these rooms are; several of them and their furnishings appeal to her tastes.

It's the dining room that she ends up in, however. There's no food with her, she just needs a place to... sit, feeling unusually worn out. So sit she does, and there's a pensive frown on her face as Rin traces her fingers over the back of her right hand, as if examining something there. Only there's nothing there; nothing but plain skin.]
