WEEK 3.

WEEK 3 You all got to witness Yosuke Hanamura's death earlier this past week. You know what the punishment for breaking the rules is. With Chitoge Kirisaki and Blue's deaths, you're painfully aware of just how little trust this group really has. How long until someone kills again? What about that time limit the Coordinators imposed? Will there be another incentive? There are so many questions, but not a whole lot of answers. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... And when you wake up, you'll discover that a pattern seems to be emerging, at least as far as the building itself goes; a new floor is available to you, a stairwell across a short hallway from the one on the second floor having unlocked itself. There's not too much of a question about it as a result - at least, as far as what it means. It's definitely a reward. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 30

[He takes a seat near the other man, notebook in hand because to be honest, Cabanela is always writing something down, and he does like the atmosphere of the bar.]

Solitaire? Always a good way to pass the time.

[Fern walks in pretty ready to get smashed tonight and is only slightly surprised to see someone else here. Well, if was gonna have a drinking buddy, it might as well be someone she's actually pretty fond of.

She plops down next to him with a bottle and glass of her own.]

You know, I was just thinking the other day that we should have a drink sometime.

It's a good way to pass the time when one's usual poker group is not trapped in a school.

[Luca does have quite the poker face, so he might be telling the truth here.]

You seem more like the writing type, though. What brings you here?

Oh, really? Well, I actually wouldn't mind looking for some of those myself, so I'll help you look.

[They're not even prescription, just sort of cute glasses. Rin straightens the tag out to read it and blinks in surprise.]

I had a dream with these glasses in them.

[That actually works out well, because Fern is a good person in Luca's mind. He actually trusts her enough to do real drinking with her, so that's a plus.]

Admittedly you aren't the kind of company I usually keep when I drink, but I think this is a good time to make an exception.

[He's reaching over to fish a second glass out for her from behind the bar.]

No, no, nothing like that. He's just got small looking things.

Yeah. Everything around here seems to repair itself before long, so long as it doesn't come from out of the vending machine.

[He laughs a little. It certainly sounds like it could be the truth, so he doesn't have much of a reason to ask further about it. Not now, anyway.]

It's a good spot to sit and drink for a while, while I gather my thoughts.

[ Yuri doesn't give a shit about how angry it makes Terumi, and honestly, at hearing those words he actually just smirks like he's told the funniest joke he's heard since he's arrived in this cesspool.

His hand's cut and bleeding, but it's fine. He's had worse and what would be a fight if he didn't get roughed up a little? ]

Nothing out of the ordinary with me calling it like it is! But, you know, you're not the only one who likes to pull that kind of crap.

[ A sliver of silver flashes as he slips out a kitchen knife into his free hand because he's totally had one hidden on his person the whole entire time too, and he's not afraid to lash out towards Terumi with it. Though, for specifics, he's just trying to aim to cut the guy across his chest (and he's not holding back or anything but he will try to avoid the bruised area too.) ]

It is a good place for that, isn't it?

[Luca picks up the next card in his stack- a seven of diamonds- and inspects it idly as he continues to talk.]

This isn't like the bars from home, though. Those bars, they were full of working men and women who were trying to wind down after a long day. It was loud, almost unbearably so, but it had the right atmosphere about it. You could almost get drunk on that alone if you weren't careful. And it was easy to let go and relax, when there was always a few dozen others cheering you on as you participated in a drinking contest.

[It is absolutely contrary to everything Luca has been up to this point: quiet, nerdy, and not one for showboating in public.]

I miss it.

Alright, but if I'm ever in the position to learn any of those things and actually end up doing that for who knows what reason, guess who I'm going to bother to help me with studying?

[ He's not actually serious because studying, but he does find the idea of bugging Archer about anything hilarious. ]

Worse? No...not most of the time, no. But it's not really something I hope for.

...No, but then, I suppose I can't entirely blame them-- it takes a lot to accept your own shortcomings.

[Oh, that's--that's not what she expected, and her eyes just go side with shock. She's...honestly struck as hell? Like...she was used to the fact that Elda was probably just. Weird as hell around her, but she expected anyone else, anyone else with morals to just...

...Discard her like the doll she was. The rotten, terrible doll she was.

She never wanted this. She just wanted to ease the loneliness from her home life and make people smile, make people happy, and maybe just...get that love that she missed from everywhere else, but...]

[What does she even do with this? She expected Alex to just...well, she honestly expected to be punched, or to get something about feeling betrayed, or something about how she's just like Blue, not...not any of this.]
