WEEK 3.

WEEK 3

You all got to witness Yosuke Hanamura's death earlier this past week. You know what the punishment for breaking the rules is. With Chitoge Kirisaki and Blue's deaths, you're painfully aware of just how little trust this group really has. How long until someone kills again? What about that time limit the Coordinators imposed? Will there be another incentive?

There are so many questions, but not a whole lot of answers.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

And when you wake up, you'll discover that a pattern seems to be emerging, at least as far as the building itself goes; a new floor is available to you, a stairwell across a short hallway from the one on the second floor having unlocked itself. There's not too much of a question about it as a result - at least, as far as what it means.

It's definitely a reward.

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

[That actually works out well, because Fern is a good person in Luca's mind. He actually trusts her enough to do real drinking with her, so that's a plus.]

Admittedly you aren't the kind of company I usually keep when I drink, but I think this is a good time to make an exception.

[He's reaching over to fish a second glass out for her from behind the bar.]

Do you take ice?
greenmamabear: (Happy days are here again)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-29 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
You have a typical company?

Sure, why not? It'll help me drink more than a few, at least.

[Ice is a go, then!]

Usually I stay up drinking with the other men who go to the bars. Sometimes women come too, but they usually stay with their own groups.

Makes sense. Before Junior, I would hang out with the girls on the regular. Better protection from the guys that way.

I would joke about 'the guys' if I didn't know exactly which kind of 'guys' you were talking about.

[Luca is nothing if not observant.]

But it was largely the same for us too. We were, ah, 'alike' I suppose. So when we were together in a group, it was harder for someone to start trouble with one of us.

Ohoho, not someone in your group I hope.

[Siiiip]

I guess that's how people are. Get in your cliques and stay safe together in the crowds.

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-09-29 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
[He. He actually laughs at that.]

Oh no, the women were quite safe from the group I ran with.

[But she does have a point with the rest of that.]

That is true, isn't it? It makes me wonder what cliques we have here.
greenmamabear: (Fern can work with that)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-29 02:03 am (UTC)(link)
Good. Could use more fellas like that out there.

[She swirls her drink thoughtfully.]

Well... there's no way the kids aren't more comfortable around each other than us.

That is true, they do tend to group up rather well. Though many of them have been quite friendly with me. I guess my being a parent makes me a 'reasonable adult figure' in their mind or something, even though I'm maybe 10 years older than them at most.
greenmamabear: (Finally something nice and not scary)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-29 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, I understand that boat. I'm always gonna be pigeon-holed as the mom.

[As if she didn't fucking make that hole herself and crawl right in there.]

[Hi-5 for Team Parent!]

Mmm...it's not a bad title, if we're being honest. 'Mom' is a very respectable profession. It takes a lot of hard work and determination to be good at it. For all of her faults, I never really second-guessed how Carmen has been raising our son. She does right by him at the very least.

[...he probably shouldn't have said that, but he's a bit tipsy right now and more willing to say stuff he would keep clammed up normally.]
greenmamabear: (Puzzled shade of green)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-29 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
[She raises a little eyebrow.]

Trouble on the homefront with the missus?
notaccurate: (80)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-09-29 02:17 am (UTC)(link)
Ah-

[And there's something else he has been avoiding for some time too.]

Marriage in general is always complicated.
greenmamabear: (Fern no)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-29 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
Sounds about right. I was shit at romance back home. [Clinking his glass]
notaccurate: (23)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-09-29 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
You don't have a husband?

[Don't mind him it's just that babies usually come after marriage as far as he knows.]
greenmamabear: (Fern eyeroll)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-29 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
[Yeah about that Luca]

Oh god no. Barely even remember the guy, to be honest.
notaccurate: (16)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-09-29 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
...Ah.

[He wants to ask but he knows it's rude to ask.]

So...you are happier this way?
greenmamabear: (Feeling down)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-29 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
[Fern's told like three people the story, welcome to the club Luca and party down with this awkward mess]

...I think so. Like I said, I'm... not good at relationships or any of that stuff. I wasn't super fond of the guy. I'm happy enough with Junior.

I would've liked something, I guess. Even if it was just an extra check in the mail every few months. Would've helped out.
notaccurate: (62)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-09-29 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
[Well, at least that's something they can bond over. Luca is shit at relationships too.]

It must have been really hard, raising him on your own. You're even stronger than I thought, Fern.
greenmamabear: (Happy days are here again)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-29 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
Psh, I'm nothing special. Just a regular mom with a good kid.
notaccurate: (43)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-01 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
I disagree. You're an amazing person, and a good friend. I- alright, don't make fun of me, but this may sound a little cheesy- I feel honored to have you as a friend.
