WEEK 3.

WEEK 3 You all got to witness Yosuke Hanamura's death earlier this past week. You know what the punishment for breaking the rules is. With Chitoge Kirisaki and Blue's deaths, you're painfully aware of just how little trust this group really has. How long until someone kills again? What about that time limit the Coordinators imposed? Will there be another incentive? There are so many questions, but not a whole lot of answers. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... And when you wake up, you'll discover that a pattern seems to be emerging, at least as far as the building itself goes; a new floor is available to you, a stairwell across a short hallway from the one on the second floor having unlocked itself. There's not too much of a question about it as a result - at least, as far as what it means. It's definitely a reward. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 30

[ Honestly, he really can't tell, with a face like that. Though, Yuri thinks the day the guy easily cracks a joke is the day the world comes to an end.

Or maybe it just felt like that was the case. ]

Well, why don't you play a game of poker with me? You'd probably be pretty good at it.

[The quickest way to get Archer to do anything is to flatter him and/or make it sound like it was his idea in the first place, so you know what.]

I suppose. It'll pass the time, at least.

[He's kind of curious to see how good Yuri will be at it, anyway.]

[ Well then, that's one accomplishment crossed off...

Anyway, Yuri doesn't have a bad poker face, but if we're leaving this up entirely to luck, that'd be the thing that would mostly screw him over than anything else. ]

So, you happen to have any hobbies? Or anything you'd like to do back home when you weren't busy with work-related stuff?

[That's true, Yuri's luck is pretty abysmal. Archer's isn't much better, though, so who knows!!]

I usually spend all of my time focused on work, but I do play the piano and the violin. It's been quite some time since I had an opportunity to practice, however.

A musician, huh?

[ But Archer being a violinist and pianist is definitely high on the 'things he'd never have guessed was a thing'. He's trying to imagine the guy playing in front of a crowd, though, but he's not sure if the guy ever would. ]

I'm going to give you some props--playing and reading music looks pretty hard. I can't imagine actually doing it.

[ Also because that'd require a lot of studying and he's not a fan of that, but shh. ]

It's not that difficult once you get used to it. It does require a fair bit of studying and dedication, though.

[He's a nerd, so of course he doesn't mind studying.]

...Not saying I'm not dedicated or anything, but staying up late trying to figure out what note does what doesn't sound like a fun way to spend the evening.

[ ... And he looks down at his hand. Really now?

Well, at least he does have a good poker face. ]

[At least we both have good poker faces so this game is probably pretty interesting even if it's being handwaved!!]

Perhaps not, but it's not as though there's all that much to do here.

Alright, but if I'm ever in the position to learn any of those things and actually end up doing that for who knows what reason, guess who I'm going to bother to help me with studying?

[ He's not actually serious because studying, but he does find the idea of bugging Archer about anything hilarious. ]

Do I look like I'd be a very good teacher?

[It's a rhetorical question, though.]

I suppose there's nothing better to do with my time. Maybe I'd consider it.

[He's sort of smirking now, but it's entirely because of the conversation. This hand is total shit.]

Oh yeah, you totally do.

[ Well, Yuri's gonna answer it like it wasn't. ]

Wow, should I feel honored you're giving it a serious thought?

[ Meanwhile he thinks the guy may be partially smirking because he has a good hand and thinking the guy might be a genius at poker... ]

You should. It's not often I'd consider taking on a student.

[Okay, yeah, he's definitely smirking now.]

Guess I'm a pretty lucky kind of guy, then.

[ Even though his cards say otherwise. But he's kind of smirking too now. ]

And you even know when to acknowledge it. How nice.

[between the two of us we're just going to get all the suckiest hands, it's kind of hilarious]

[ Honestly, it is. ]

Well, might as well. I never know when I'd have this stroke of luck again.

You know, you're not all that bad. You can actually be kinda fun to hang around.
