WEEK 3.

WEEK 3

You all got to witness Yosuke Hanamura's death earlier this past week. You know what the punishment for breaking the rules is. With Chitoge Kirisaki and Blue's deaths, you're painfully aware of just how little trust this group really has. How long until someone kills again? What about that time limit the Coordinators imposed? Will there be another incentive?

There are so many questions, but not a whole lot of answers.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

And when you wake up, you'll discover that a pattern seems to be emerging, at least as far as the building itself goes; a new floor is available to you, a stairwell across a short hallway from the one on the second floor having unlocked itself. There's not too much of a question about it as a result - at least, as far as what it means.

It's definitely a reward.

Yeah. I needed to get back at you for that dare.

[ He's not serious. He just wanted to hang around or something.

Well, technically he could bring up the other thing but it really was a sort of checking up to see how Luca was doing, and damn that's at least some good amount of time he's put into the game. He wonders if he can wrestle him into playing something else instead. ]

Jokes aside, weren't we talking a bit ago about it being nice if there was some booze around here?

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-09-29 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
[Luca snorts at that.]

It was fully deserved, don't turn that back on me. But you are right, booze is always a good addition to a conversation.

[He pauses, and then he grins a little.]

Booze, privacy, and good company. I believe I told someone else that was what was needed here.

What if I do?

[ Yuri, please. ]

You did, huh? Well, it's not like you're wrong about that anyway. I'm sure that other person agreed too.

[ Yuri's definition of "good company" might be different than Luca's in that context, though. ]

If you do turn it back on me, then I will have to turn it back on you again.

[You wanna fukken go Yuri? Is this the start of a prank war?]

Though if you're in that kind of a mood, you might make for good company after all.

[Luca means that in several contexts this time, he's not even sure if Yuri is into dudes, but poking fun at him will be entertaining at the very least.]
hesperos: (80)

[personal profile] hesperos 2017-10-01 10:05 am (UTC)(link)
Oh yeah? I'd like to see you try.

[ It probably is--Yuri's going to clearly sneak a whoopie cushion or something wherever Luca might sit. Okay, no they don't have those here. ]

You bet I am. I'd be even better company if you'd make that macaroni and cheese.

[ Yuri means that in like two, in comparison. He has an inkling Luca's joking around, so of course he's going to do that right back. ]

[Yuri will be in for quite the surprise, then. Luca already has an idea or two for pranks he can do.]

So you want dinner AND a drink? It almost sounds like you're asking for a dinner date.

[He says that jokingly, but he is genuinely curious as to Yuri's intentions. And he's interested enough to actually consider it too, if Yuri wants that.]
hesperos: (29)

[personal profile] hesperos 2017-10-01 12:09 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Game on, Luca. Game. On. ]

It does, huh?

[ Yuri figures having just one with Luca can't hurt. Also because sometimes he doesn't know when to shut his mouth... ]

Why the hell not?
notaccurate: (39)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-01 02:09 pm (UTC)(link)
[He really doesn't, does he?

And this could end terribly, because Luca is taking this as a sign that Yuri is both into guys and interested in him.
]

Alright then, a dinner date it is. Do you want this before or after our horrible secrets are spilled to the world?

[Because he imagines that a lot of people are going to think differently about him afterwards. Maybe they should do this tonight, before Yuri has the chance to think poorly of him.]
hesperos: (41)

[personal profile] hesperos 2017-10-01 03:25 pm (UTC)(link)
[ It could! ]

I think before's going to be a good idea.

[ That was his intention -- he doesn't think Luca's going to think anything good of him following the secret reveal. ]

Actually, why don't we have it tonight?
notaccurate: (04)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-01 05:02 pm (UTC)(link)
[Ironically, Luca thinks the same about Yuri. Which is why he's so agreeable to doing this before the secrets are out.]

Well, I'm not too drunk to cook, so let's do it.

[He does grab a bottle of wine and two glasses to take with him, though. Might as well bring the booze along instead of having to run back up here.]
hesperos: (98)

[personal profile] hesperos 2017-10-01 05:28 pm (UTC)(link)
[ The irony is ripe in here, honestly. ]

And even if you were, I think I'd serve as a pretty good minder.

[ And then they make their way to the kitchen! ]
notaccurate: (67)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-01 05:35 pm (UTC)(link)
What, are you used to handling drunk people?

[Luca leaves the wine and glasses on the counter as he goes about making REAL macaroni and cheese. Which is actually going to take a while, because he is making the noodles from scratch. He doesn't have a noodle press, but the rolling pin will work just fine for making the noodles flat.]
hesperos: (70)

[personal profile] hesperos 2017-10-01 06:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, yeah. I've drank with some people a few times and they'd need help getting home after they're hung over.

[ Damn, Luca, you're a real cook.

...Of course the guy's mentioned he knows how to before but for some reason seeing it in action feels like another thing entirely. ]
notaccurate: (71)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-02 10:39 pm (UTC)(link)
[1800's cooking was definitely a lot more involved, so he had to pick up a few skills along the way. It's not like his wife ever cooked for him.

Speaking of cooking, he's multi-tasking pretty brilliantly. He's got the water ready to boil by the time the noodles are cut into half-inch squares, and as soon as he dumps those in the water he is already working on preparing the cheese. It does take him a bit to actually be satisfied with the cheese selection, though, as most of the cheeses in the fridge are of the 'shaker can of Parmesan' and 'American slices' variety. Future cheese is gross. Though that block of cheddar will do, even if it's not his first choice.
]

How kind of you. I'm sure they appreciated the effort. Though I promise you, I will be sure not to get that drunk outside of any of the bedrooms. I do not wish to test that 'no sleeping in strange places' rule.
hesperos: (75)

[personal profile] hesperos 2017-10-03 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
[ Yuri resists pitching in because he's used to cooking so much himself and it feels weird actually having someone cook for him. He'll use his idle time to lightly tap his fingers against a counter. ]

Good to know you're a pretty responsible guy. Though, I think everyone's gonna try to avoid falling asleep outside of their room, given what we witnessed happened last time as a result of someone breaking the rules.
notaccurate: (12)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-03 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
[Probably a good idea, if Yuri doesn't know the methods. Luca is a bit particular with his cooking. But since the noodles are fresh instead of dried out, they cook extremely fast. Like, in 3 minutes. He just barely finishes shredding the cheese by the time they're ready to be strained.]

Mmm, that's true. Hopefully nobody tests it, we don't need another messy death like that.

[Though he's sure there will be one before too long anyway. Damn murder house.

But hey he's mixing the cheese and a bit of milk in with the cooked noodles, and it's melting up quite nicely! It's a little stringier than you would expect from mac and cheese, but that's what makes it hold together so well.
]

Here. This is real macaroni and cheese.
hesperos: (40)

[personal profile] hesperos 2017-10-03 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
[ Well, he knows how to cook mac and cheese -- though it would probably end up differently than Luca's methods so it's for the best!! ]

Wow, you really went all out, huh?

[ He'll come closer to Luca's side, because the smell of 'real' macaroni and cheese makes him want to dig in. He's sure no one would blame him for it. ]

I guess all I need to do is just wait for it to settle.
notaccurate: (39)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-03 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
If this is what you think 'all out' is, then I shall have to cook you a real dinner sometime.

[With the food almost ready, he will go ahead and pour out two glasses of wine too. He also offers one to Yuri.]
hesperos: (144)

[personal profile] hesperos 2017-10-04 01:58 pm (UTC)(link)
You sure you're not a part-time chef or something?

[ He'll take one!

It feels weird holding a glass of wine since he just usually drinks beers. ]

notaccurate: (13)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-04 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I cook for myself, but that hardly counts. Honestly, besides a few things here and there in the last few weeks, it's been a while since I have cooked for anyone else. I suppose I should brush up on my skills, you can always woo someone with food.

[Speaking of food, here have a bowl of this delicious cheesy goodness. And Luca will have one for himself too, since he's not going to skip out on real food.]
hesperos: (148)

[personal profile] hesperos 2017-10-05 01:43 am (UTC)(link)
Heh. You're really thinking of trying to seriously woo someone -- even if it's in a place like this?

[ He's not judging, if anything his tone is rather teasing as he starts to dig straight into the food, placing the glass of wine beside himself. ]
notaccurate: (19)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-05 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
[There's a hesitation there, if only for a moment. Did Yuri really not get it? But that teasing tone is present. Does he know and is teasing Luca for it? Or does he not know and is teasing Luca for the general idea of 'wooing someone'?]

Ah, well. Maybe? But I suppose it applies in general too. I certainly want to keep living and get out of here, my life isn't confined to these walls.
hesperos: (150)

[personal profile] hesperos 2017-10-05 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
[ Well, Yuri just figures the dinner date is a one time thing as far as he knows, but most of the teasing is admittedly more 'general idea of wooing someone here'. It's not very serious and he means no harm by it. It does show Yuri is not too great with handling these types of things in a serious manner. ]

Yeah, that makes sense. Well, I don't think it's a bad strategy anyway.

A lot of people can easily fall in love with someone who's willing to cook and care for them.
notaccurate: (80)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-05 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
[It does indeed, and now Luca is disappointed. Okay, maybe 'extremely disappointed', but he covers that up quickly. It's not the first time he's flirted with someone who appears to be not interested in him, he'll live.]

Exactly. I recommend the same to anyone who comes to me for love advice. Though admittedly, that doesn't happen too often.

[Maybe because he's only 27 and not someone who looks like they know a lot.]
