WEEK 3.

WEEK 3 You all got to witness Yosuke Hanamura's death earlier this past week. You know what the punishment for breaking the rules is. With Chitoge Kirisaki and Blue's deaths, you're painfully aware of just how little trust this group really has. How long until someone kills again? What about that time limit the Coordinators imposed? Will there be another incentive? There are so many questions, but not a whole lot of answers. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... And when you wake up, you'll discover that a pattern seems to be emerging, at least as far as the building itself goes; a new floor is available to you, a stairwell across a short hallway from the one on the second floor having unlocked itself. There's not too much of a question about it as a result - at least, as far as what it means. It's definitely a reward. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 30

I have my doubts that it is one at all. Even the Assembly of the Eighth Sacrament's training exercises never had this extravagance to them, and the mortality rate there was on par with what this is shaping up to be.

Like you said, it's extravagant. Even if they have unlimited resources, this is too much for a sick joke. If the school is a cover, that just means there has to be something else to it.

Or perhaps it's something simpler than that. For all we know, this could be what they think of as entertaining.

An unfortunate possibility is no less possible if you refuse to hear it. But very well, I won't speak of it again.

I'll keep it in mind, at the very least.

[But the thought that the reasoning behind this setup could be as twisted as that—that everything she's worked for over the course of her life could be shattered in an instant because somebody thought it was fun—it makes her furious. She hates people like that most of all.]

I can't say you're wrong, but I don't want to ignore other possibilities either. Too much thought has been put into this, and time. Especially when you consider this has happened more than once.

Agreed, there is no need to simply cut ourselves down to a singular possibility this soon.

Mm. But I don't know if we can escape or otherwise work out what the truth is by this Friday.

It would be in poor taste for even an Executor to kill solely for personal gain.

I'll have to reconsider my plans, then. [She folds her arms.] Is there anything else, or can I go? There are too few hours in the day for me to stand around talking to you.
