WEEK 3.

WEEK 3 You all got to witness Yosuke Hanamura's death earlier this past week. You know what the punishment for breaking the rules is. With Chitoge Kirisaki and Blue's deaths, you're painfully aware of just how little trust this group really has. How long until someone kills again? What about that time limit the Coordinators imposed? Will there be another incentive? There are so many questions, but not a whole lot of answers. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... And when you wake up, you'll discover that a pattern seems to be emerging, at least as far as the building itself goes; a new floor is available to you, a stairwell across a short hallway from the one on the second floor having unlocked itself. There's not too much of a question about it as a result - at least, as far as what it means. It's definitely a reward. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 30

[ He doesn't really respond to that, sorry!! He's not a snitch so he's not about to rat out Terumi for being a random stabber. He does, however, step aside to let Yuri get at the cabinet he's at. ] You come here for somethin'?

[ It's fine, Yuri doesn't actually care that much. ]

Yeah, actually. I was gonna grab some bandages.

Got into a fight myself, you know?

[ He'll be actually heading over to where the bandages are now. ]

[ Have at it! He's done grabbing them. For now. ]

Guess we're all getting bored. There's not much to do here except fight, drink, and play games.

[hesperos]

Not surprised. Oh wait, I guess there's one more thing we could do.

[ Yuri's pulling out the bandages. ]

There's that fourth rule about investigating.

Still, it isn't a lot. But I get the feeling that it's on purpose--they might hope the same crap everyday is one of the things that drives some of us to murder each other.

Not the investigative type.

[ And what kind of rule "allows" you to investigate? Sounds stupid. ]

It's probably somethin' like that though. It's psychological warfare, or somethin' like it.

[hesperos]

[ He thinks so too. ]

Yeah. I'd give some kudos here, but I don't want to give any kidnapper any kind of praise.

Dunno if they'd care anyway. They're not doin' this for the praise, they're doin' it 'cause they want to.

[ They sure are, but oh well, while they're here... ]

Do you think that what they're getting out of this is something simple like having front row seats to people killing each other? Or do you think it's something more than that?

[paralogical]

Does it matter?

[ He shrugs. ]

Depends.

[ More or less he thinks it might if knowing somehow ended up helping with them escaping and stopping this thing but other than that...ehh. ]

You think it wouldn't?

There's nothing they can say that will change what they're doing here or help us. Besides, we can't figure out what they're doing by discussing it. So, yeah. I don't think knowing will change anything.

[ If anything, knowing might confuse some of the more soft-hearted people here. It's baffling how anyone could show their kidnappers kindness but, eh.

[ If they had information about a possible answer regarding this they might be able to figure it out, but oh well. ]

Yeah, yeah. I guess that might be true.

Yeah. [ ... ] Might as well ask, why d'you think they're doing this?

[hesperos]

I have no clue. One of my guesses is that partially it really is for entertainment--or at least where Jericho's concerned.

[ ... ]

My other guess would've been that it's because the loss of lives would give them a boon of some sort, but if it were something like that they could've just killed us all instead of staging any of this.

[paralogical]

[ Suoh raises an eyebrow at the first part. Huh. Just, huh. Moving onto the second part now. ]

Sounds like you think this is some kind of shitty ritual.

I can't really know for sure, though.

[ He'll finally have grabbed all of the bandages he needed. ]
