WEEK 3.

WEEK 3

You all got to witness Yosuke Hanamura's death earlier this past week. You know what the punishment for breaking the rules is. With Chitoge Kirisaki and Blue's deaths, you're painfully aware of just how little trust this group really has. How long until someone kills again? What about that time limit the Coordinators imposed? Will there be another incentive?

There are so many questions, but not a whole lot of answers.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

And when you wake up, you'll discover that a pattern seems to be emerging, at least as far as the building itself goes; a new floor is available to you, a stairwell across a short hallway from the one on the second floor having unlocked itself. There's not too much of a question about it as a result - at least, as far as what it means.

It's definitely a reward.

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

Bad poetry, hmm? Well we can't have that, I better change my ways.

[He says right before he takes another drink from his drink.]
heritrix: (step on the little people)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-10-01 06:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, you can't change everything about yourself to satisfy the world. That would be foolish, and going dry is an unreasonable demand.

[Better to make changes in smaller areas. Like instead of solitaire, how about a card pyramid? Rin slips two cards off the top stack to stand them up against each other like a triangle. Ta-da? Oh wait, you were still playing with those.]

[It's okay he was distracted from his game anyway. Now he's watching her set up the cards.]

I was never much good at those. They always ended up falling over before I got two levels in.
heritrix: (a little to the left)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-10-02 10:48 pm (UTC)(link)
I've never tried before.

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-02 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Well you're doing spectacularly for a first-timer.

[He will go ahead and add two cards next to hers, starting the first layer.]
heritrix: (heh heh)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-10-02 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
It's more impressive if you tell me that after I've finished.

[Another two cards then; Rin adds them with a delicate touch.]

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-03 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
That is true, let's see if you can do the second level now.
heritrix: (how did I delete these keywords)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-10-03 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
[There's other things she should be doing now. But honestly, she's out of ideas.]

Oh, it's harder to keep them in place like this...

[On this second level, that is. The first one she lays on top makes the pyramid try to fold in on itself.]

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-03 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
You have to put that middle card perfectly between the two pyramids there, so that they will support the upper pyramid. Here, like this.

[It takes him a moment, but he does manage to get two cards up on top.]
heritrix: (ooooh)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-10-03 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
[Rin ducks her head downwards, to watch him work at eye level. When the card balances, she makes a quiet, pleased-like sound.]

Not bad! I thought you said you weren't good at this?

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-03 05:28 am (UTC)(link)
This is as far as I can go. Any time I try to go up a level, it falls over. Given that the pyramid should be around six levels high, this is just the beginning.
heritrix: (standard thoughtful expression)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-10-03 05:33 am (UTC)(link)
It's probably the height. If it's meant to be six levels, we should sit at a lower table, if we don't want to be standing precariously in our seats.
notaccurate: (39)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-04 06:35 pm (UTC)(link)
That is probably safer, yes. No need to have 'death by falling off of a bar while making a card pyramid' trial.

[So, rebuild on one of the tables?]
heritrix: (okay then)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-10-04 07:42 pm (UTC)(link)
[Flatly:] That would be embarrassing. I bet they'd only award us the incentive out of pity.

[Rebuild at one of the tables it is! Rin will collect the cards, figuring Luca will want to snag his drink. Rin doesn't have a glass herself; she came in to steal booze for later, not to drink it here.]
notaccurate: (22)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-04 07:50 pm (UTC)(link)
What would they even do in that case? Bring us back to life to kill us again for killing ourselves?

[Actually the booze is left forgotten on the bar. Luca's got other things to focus on now, so the drink doesn't seem as important anymore.]
heritrix: (doot doot doot)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-10-04 08:08 pm (UTC)(link)
[Oh, very nice then. We're handling this like champs. Rin sits down at one of the tables with a completely straight face.]

Maybe they'd have a cardboard cutout stand-in.
notaccurate: (04)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-04 08:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah yes, a symbolic execution pyre. Just what this place needs.
heritrix: (elegance)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-10-04 09:05 pm (UTC)(link)
[Rin opens her mouth, and for a moment it seems like she's going to ask a question. Apparently she decides against it though, her mouth snapping shut as she shakes her head.]

I'd take a window. Or doors that lead to the outside. Of course, I wouldn't say no to dynamite to stuff around the building's foundation on the way out, either.
notaccurate: (22)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-10-06 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
[Good idea, it's a thing she probably doesn't want to know about. It's a bit dark.]

That would be a funny 'execution'. Throwing wooden versions of our bodies out a window, and letting the others watch, but ultimately it is for naught because nobody benefits from it. I am sure the others would be thrilled.
heritrix: (bored now)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-10-06 01:57 pm (UTC)(link)
[It was a different kind of question, so the reverse is probably more accurate. Then again, Rin's Thursday night might have gone much differently if she'd asked it.]

I meant if there was a window, we could escape. Try to keep up, Luca.
