WEEK 3.

WEEK 3 You all got to witness Yosuke Hanamura's death earlier this past week. You know what the punishment for breaking the rules is. With Chitoge Kirisaki and Blue's deaths, you're painfully aware of just how little trust this group really has. How long until someone kills again? What about that time limit the Coordinators imposed? Will there be another incentive? There are so many questions, but not a whole lot of answers. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... And when you wake up, you'll discover that a pattern seems to be emerging, at least as far as the building itself goes; a new floor is available to you, a stairwell across a short hallway from the one on the second floor having unlocked itself. There's not too much of a question about it as a result - at least, as far as what it means. It's definitely a reward. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 30

In a little ball! But the ball was in the machine, yes.

[ The Ditty here? Just hanging and wiggling. ]

Huh. How did it survive being in there for weeks? [ ... ] ...Maybe the ball prevented it from dying somehow.

[matchbreaker]

Maybe?

[ Hell if she knows. She digs around for the Pokeball and then hands it off. It looks technological? Seems like it, right? ]

[shuttermouse]

[ She turns the ball over in her hands, examining it closely. ]

Without Blue-san around to explain how it works, I can only speculate, but maybe the jelly is put in some sort of suspended animation when inside the ball.

[matchbreaker]

... You mean it becomes still? That's not quite the case - if I can work out how to get it back in the ball, you'd see, but when it's in there that top part is actually opaque, you can see him moving around.

[ But still, shit's weird. ]

[shuttermouse]

Oh. Hm... [ She cants her head a bit, thinking. ]

I can't think of an explanation for how it survived in there. Technology sure is amazing... I wonder if you can store a person in there too?

[matchbreaker]

Oh, that would be useful. Should we try putting you in it?

[ ditty is just looking at the par incredulously. guys, what? ]

[shuttermouse]

[ Hm, on one hand, Elda could throw the ball with her in it into the incinerator or something like that. On the other, would anyone here really commit murder in the middle of the day? ]

...Sure, let's give it a try.

[ She'll hand the ball back to Elda. ]

[matchbreaker]

[ Sweet!

... Okay, the ball caught, she considers it, and then... Presses it into Chie's head such that it presses down on the button.

...

Nothing happens. ]

[shuttermouse]

[ ................. ]

...That was disappointing.

[matchbreaker]

Maybe there's some other trick to it?

[ Knocks it a few more times against Chie's skull... ]

[shuttermouse]

[ She'll let her try a few times before taking a step back. ]

Maybe it's designed not to work on people. Thinking about it, it'd be pretty bad? You could easily abduct someone and keep them trapped against their will.

[matchbreaker]

Yeah, that could be bad.

[ Sigh... Well, she'll just toss the ball gently at the ditto. It sort of bounces against its head and it looks mildly annoyed at this. ]

It would've been neat, though.

[shuttermouse]

Yeah. It's kind of a shame it didn't work, really.

[ ...She gives the Ditto another poke. Sorry, buddy, but it's kind of fun? ]

[matchbreaker]

Seriously!

[ Ditty, okay like - he's going to try to get his ooze around her finger with that next poke. ]
