WEEK 3.

WEEK 3 You all got to witness Yosuke Hanamura's death earlier this past week. You know what the punishment for breaking the rules is. With Chitoge Kirisaki and Blue's deaths, you're painfully aware of just how little trust this group really has. How long until someone kills again? What about that time limit the Coordinators imposed? Will there be another incentive? There are so many questions, but not a whole lot of answers. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... And when you wake up, you'll discover that a pattern seems to be emerging, at least as far as the building itself goes; a new floor is available to you, a stairwell across a short hallway from the one on the second floor having unlocked itself. There's not too much of a question about it as a result - at least, as far as what it means. It's definitely a reward. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 30

It wasn’t really because of anything I did. Just...I don’t know. Chance?

...Might I hear exactly what happened to him? If it is not too painful for you to talk about.

[Susan thought she'd implied that, frankly. She narrows her eyes at Adelina for a second, as if weighing her response.]

...I killed him.

I assumed, but... Well, I suppose I don't need to know how. It's just that, depending on the method, it seems difficult to do something like that purely based on luck alone.

[Ah. Okay, then. She...actually didn't think she'd ever get as far as directly telling someone she'd killed somebody, much less describing how.]

I got a big chunk of wood, stuck a sawblade on it, and hit him over the head. He was off torturing some other poor girl - he never saw me coming.

That hardly seems to me like pure luck. You needed to employ quick thinking and stealth, as well as daring.

[She seems to be taking this in stride, at least, giving Susan an approving nod.]

It seems as though you've slayed a monster of your own.

It was lucky he didn't kill me to begin with. Maybe...

[Does that really count as luck?]

Surely there was more at play than just luck.

[ninehundredlives]

....well, maybe. But anyway, he's dead now.

I think he's not going to be the last of it.

What makes you think that?

It was...sort of a dream I had? Back there, I mean, not one of these ones. An old woman told me there would be five of them, and I would have to...deal with them.

I'm not normally somebody to believe in dreams, but a lot of more impossible things she said came true already.

[bloodbiter]

[It doesn't seem too strange to her, giving the place she comes from, so she simply gives a nod.]

I see. So, you believe you will encounter four more situations like that one?

...That sounds incredibly stressful.

Yeah. Who knows, maybe this is one of them. Or two, if we count Alena and Jericho both.

[bloodbiter]

Did the others typically involve so many other people?

[ninehundredlives]

No. Not alive, anyway.

[bloodbiter]

It seems to me that this must be different. It's certainly different than anything I have experienced.

[ninehundredlives]

Yeah. They’re not really serial killers exactly...not that it isn’t all their fault in the end.
