It's time for an after party!

[About an hour after the trial and subsequent execution, Cabanela makes a decision.

They need to do something, keep the morale up, however little it may be.

Under each occupied room door people will find the following note written:


In difficult times such as this, it is important to carry on.
Don't give into despair; we must preservere.
If you don't want to be alone this evening, meet me in the dining hall.

[Upon entering the dinning hall, you will find Cabanela sitting at one of the tables; he has lit two candles that are placed at the center of the table, but there's nothing else to note.

You'll have to supply your own food, since he doesn't have much of an appetite.]

[ The room's kind of quiet until a voice speaks up. Marty has absolutely no idea who she is, but he starts her way despite this. It was so incredibly somber (for obvious reasons though), and it was starting to drive him crazy. His hands are warming in his pockets, his hair a little on the unkempt side. He's just happy he got out of his room enough to say he was here.

He stands beside her, looking over her shoulder curiously. ] Whatcha got?

[With the best smile she can manage (which is, again, not as vibrant as her profile picture), she flips the frame so that a real smile is showing. It's a girl surrounded by her pets, and Marty probably has enough detective skills to deduce who the girl is.]

I got this from that awful vending machine. [But there's some energy to her voice.] It's really great, right?

[She's trying not to be self-centered, she's trying to spread some happier times. Maybe.]

[ Hardly self-centered at all! Marty's eyes are quickly drawn to the cute little picture...especially the crocodile. It's suddenly like the day's events mutate into some weird emotions, and a laugh escapes him. The last thing he thought he would be doing right now!

Marty quickly points to the green lizard thing behind her. ] Is that a croc? You have a pet crock?

Waniko is an alligator! She's a few years old now. She's gettin' kinda big, but we still get along great.

[She can't help but smile wider at the laugh. She knows she's the only person with a gator in the middle of Tokyo. She doesn't think it's weird, she's just...the only one. There's a difference.]

Isn't she beautiful?

Holy shit! [ he doesn't know anyone that has actually befriended an alligator before! How in the world she can live with it and not get eaten or suffer from injuries is way beyond Marty. It's really cool though!

Marty smiles at the picture. ] She kinda does, actually. A lot nicer than any other alligator I've seen. [ Which isn't a lot, to be honest. ]

Who's everyone else?

Hehe, she's really kind, too! Kids love playin' with her, I can't take her out without her getting all kinds of attention!

[Please ignore her jungle life]

That's Hamuzou, Hebika, Shimao, Osuke, Usae, Nekokichi, Butata, Inumi, and Momojirou!

[In order, she points to the hamster, the snake, chipmunk, parrot, rabbit, cat, pig, dog, and flying squirrel.]

I bet everyone's havin' a tough time takin' care of them back home...no one's as good at it as I am.

Holy shit! [ If Marty had that many pets at home, he'd be kicked out.

...If he had one of those types of animals, he'd be flown across the world. ]

I bet they're fine. Maybe they're having...a little vacation? [ He doesn't want to make her feel bad... ] Or sleeping in?

Impressive, right? Which one's your favorite?

[She'll be impressed if he can remember any of their names, honestly.]

I'm sure they're fine. Our secretary fed 'em once while we were at the beach, so she's probably moved in by now to do the same thing.

Aaahhhhhhhhhhh...[ ohgod pick someone quick!

Marty points to the croc. ] Wan...- What.......- uhh...

[ wow. ] Him.

Who's your secretary? She doesn't mind taking care of all these guys?

[nankurunaisa]

Waniko!

[She'll just casually repeat it, please don't forget again, this will be on the test.]

Ootonashi-san is my secretary! She does all of the small jobs that keep Namuko Pro runnin'!

[If "Namuko" sounds like "Namco" it's because, yes, that's intentional. iDOLM@STER is full of Pac-Man accessories, too.]

Namuko Pro. So I'm guessing that's your job, right? Like a vet shop?

[ ...shop. place. something like that.

And he doesn't even notice at first! Just give him a few more hints and he should get it eventually...! ]

Vet...shop? [Did he not read the profiles? Oh, well.] Namuko Pro is an idol agency! I'm an idol!
