It's time for an after party!
[About an hour after the trial and subsequent execution, Cabanela makes a decision.
They need to do something, keep the morale up, however little it may be.
Under each occupied room door people will find the following note written:
In difficult times such as this, it is important to carry on.
Don't give into despair; we must preservere.
If you don't want to be alone this evening, meet me in the dining hall.
-Cabanela
[Upon entering the dinning hall, you will find Cabanela sitting at one of the tables; he has lit two candles that are placed at the center of the table, but there's nothing else to note.
You'll have to supply your own food, since he doesn't have much of an appetite.]

...well, he wasn't as down as some people, as he was quite certain that whole "Reaver dying" business would probably sort itself out instead of resulting in the deaths of six million people. Things always did, after all... but ah, Giovanni had liked him. Ken, too, even if he was apparently some sort of human-eating monster.
Trapped in a building full of humans, of course, with no choice but to kill and die or starve. HMMM. What a load of Trubbish, really. Well, they did know the stakes now, so...
...no, it wasn't going to be that easy. If anything, it would be harder, unless he had a good idea of whose kneecaps to shatter in the near future. He'd just have to try and keep a lookout.
Well, you know what he was interested in trying? Those peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that were really popular in Unova. Yeah, those sounded pretty good, didn't they?
He was just going to make so many sandwiches and empty every jar (except maybe strawberry, because that just seemed a little tasteless.) Then he was going to appropriate the jars for Reasons, but nobody had to know that.
(and damn, he'd already missed out, hadn't he... it's a shame. that would've been a good one.)]

[...no offense taken, actually]
I just know they're popular in Unova, but I guess being popular with kids is still a thing. Still... stuff you used to eat as a kid makes you feel a little better, doesn't it?

Unova... You're from the same world as Blue-chan, right? The world with Pokemon? [which, she assumes, are readily used as living underwear.]

[...things like the food, it was pretty good tbh]
And yes, you've got it. Unfortunately, I don't have any of mine with me or I'd show them off.
[...hopefully Blue didn't give people too weird an idea of what they are...]

Are they as cute and useful as Ditty-chan? [HAHA SHE DID THO]
no subject
[...really he has no moral qualms about killing, like, 26 people, he just likes everyone and would rather they survive for Reasons]
...hahaha, well, I can't really say they're all conventionally cute, and Ditto are pretty unique... but they all have their charms, I'd say.

...of course, my actual favorite is a Bug-type, which... probably seems a bit odd.

Is this... some sort of rationing thing, like those crackers in the closet?

I may have lost control of myself a bit.

[...he thinks about it.]
Honestly, that seems like it'd go pretty well with what I'm doing right now, so I can't judge.

Can I have one?
[She has made an absurdly large amount of rice and Actual Food to exchange, if that's how this is gonna be.]

[...he smirks and hands a plate with a grape PB&J over.]

Ah, go ahead and take one, if you'd like. That's what they're for, after all.
no subject
[Well, he wouldn't have said that if he wasn't. So, she'll just pick up one of those sandwiches then.]
Uhh, thank you!

[...
and he probably wouldn't accidentally poison anyone with them.]
no subject
If they're this easy, then I'll have to learn how to make them too!
[Just gonna nibble on one of them. She'd already eaten the packed lunch Sukuyo had given her, like a good person.]
no subject
That's it. You have learned a new recipe.
no subject
I'll try to remember that then!
