It's time for an after party!
[About an hour after the trial and subsequent execution, Cabanela makes a decision.
They need to do something, keep the morale up, however little it may be.
Under each occupied room door people will find the following note written:
In difficult times such as this, it is important to carry on.
Don't give into despair; we must preservere.
If you don't want to be alone this evening, meet me in the dining hall.
-Cabanela
[Upon entering the dinning hall, you will find Cabanela sitting at one of the tables; he has lit two candles that are placed at the center of the table, but there's nothing else to note.
You'll have to supply your own food, since he doesn't have much of an appetite.]

[ He hasn't said much about her. That she's naive, yeah, and Sol's pretty sure he cares about her, but she knows nothing else about the girl. She drops into the seat beside Logan, looking at him curiously. ]
...What's she like?

[He sets the pen down and folds his hands before looking at Sol. Despite how even his expression and words are, his hands are shaking.]
She's... not the brightest and she often sticks her nose where it doesn't belong, but she genuinely does wish to help everyone. She can be unobservant and often lost in her own little world where nothing ever goes wrong, but she's strong-willed and once she's aware that something is wrong, she'll do everything in her power to fight to fix it.
...I miss her. I imagine she's still furious with me.
[That tends to happen when you force someone to choose between innocent people and their friend--
...YOU KNOW WHAT THAT SOUNDS LIKE
oh my god he fucked up]

Maybe. But you'll never be able to do anythin' about her bein' furious 'till you get back home, right? ...Well, you can think about what you want to do about it now, I guess. And even when you're furious with someone, when it's someone you love...it doesn't stop you lovin' them, you know.

...Yes, that's very true. I could never stay mad at her for long.
[Perhaps it would be easier if he was still mad at her, but he isn't. He's not sure when he stopped being angry.]
I will find something to say to her before I return.
[And he has to return. There isn't another option after... It's better not to think about it.]

[ It's how she has to feel, or she wouldn't be able to function. ]

I'll do what I can. I... care about her too much to do otherwise.
