WEEK 6.

WEEK 6 You've lost a lot of people this week, haven't you? Katniss Everdeen and Weiss Schnee were killed for rule violations, while Chie Hori and Frank Archer were murdered by Mikoto Suoh and Yuuki Terumi. It doesn't really matter how they died, though, does it? After all, they're dead now and the only thing you can do is keep moving forward. It seems like there's no end in sight. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Changes were promised to you this week; while Sunday dawns seeming no different from the previous weeks, it seems one change is going to remain a constant - namely, a new floor has been opened up to you. Whether this is a promising sign or not is something that you're going to need to decide for yourself. The important thing, for now, is that you continue to do well. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 19

I had a...very, very weird dream. I mean, most of my dreams have been weird, but this one, it...doesn't really make sense at all, with the others. Even if it was still about the school.

[At some point Cabanela has t opause, right? Hibiki claps enthusiastically after watching him on the piano for a few moments. From anyone else, it might sound like too much clapping, but Hibiki's smile is pretty big. She's happy to see a music room at all, and she's thrilled to see someone she doesn't really know that well trying out an instrument.]

Not...really. If I had been before, I think I'd do the right thing and just...not.

[ Alex very much looks like a kid with her hand caught in a cookie jar as she puts down the violin she's been trying (and failing) to get sounding right. ]

Absolutely nothing, apparently.

[ Yuri will go over to check out the harp. He'll lightly run his fingers over the strings...this is pretty cool actually. ]

If she's nosy, she might notice the names and information written! Alex doesn't really take to covering it up, mostly just staring and blushing. ]

[Because her girlfriend said she'd look cute!! ...Also as a metaphorical way of kind of letting go of all of the person she was at Hope's Peak, but let's be honest, the first inspired her most of all.

Sayaka will definitely be a little nosy, and...huh. Sinking...her eyes seem to light up a bit in recognition when she reads that, but she'll keep it to herself and just kinda keep leaning against Alex.]

I'm glad. I wanted to take your suggestion to heart, after all. [Small smile.] About these people, or was it a general memory? I'm glad you're having okay ones for once, though...you deserve 'em.

[The dream that comes seems to be a direct continuation of the one from two weeks ago: finding the gold with the rest of the family.

And wow that is a continuation. On Sunday Kyrie does breakfast for everyone, and while she talks with people like usual, she seems to avoid people for the rest of the day. She has stuff to think about. Such behavior lasted the whole day.

On Monday, during the usual breakfast making, she seems to be deep in thought. She's not saddened, she is not angry, it's more like she's trying to decide what to think]

Kyrie, you're such a coldhearted woman.

[She says that aloud to herself -- with no hint of disgust, more like it's a common knowledge statement. It was meant to be only to herself, but it was loud enough someone nearby would have heard it. She really should watch around her before saying such things.

Later, she is at the chapel, sitting to the front of the chapel and putting her hands in the usual praying position. She's not praying, though. She has never been a religious woman in any way]

I have to wonder if me being here and alive is meant to be a second chance at life. What do I have to do to not let this second chance slip from between my fingers...?

[That's sure a loaded sentence, eh? But yeah, she's musing to herself again. She sure does a lot of that today]

I wanted to see if maybe going through a traumatic experience unlocked some hidden talent like it does in...I don't know, YA books or TV shows, actually.

...It still ended like the others. [ She can't stop looking at Sayaka's hair, holy shit, but- she does want to kind of...brace her with that. ] Like...it's nothing like a way out, but...um, I think...it looked like I made all the right choices for once, and...I like to think maybe they happened, in a timeline out there. Like I... Like I made a difference to someone.

[ Not quite answering the question exactly, yet, but. ]

That does make sense, yes. So it was just...one of the possibilities of many, that played out this time. Instead of any sort of concrete way out...

[Sayaka nods her head, though, clearly getting the picture in her mind.]

[At some point in the afternoon, there comes a knock on her door.]

[Ah...well, Sayaka's at least somewhat more chill by then, and she'll open the door just a bit. Adelina can probably tell, but it seems like her hair's been cut down to a bob...]

I'd hardly say so, but if 'steamed' is better than 'sad', then I suppose that can be considered better.

[...She's kind of going to play parkour with that subject, honestly, in leiu of fluffing her new haircut a bit with a slightly forced smile.]

Oh, no, I didn't. I...well, weirdly enough? I asked Ale--Larimore-san to do it for me. She did a good job, didn't she? I honestly love it...

[It totally won't be painful in a couple of hours. Nope. Not at all.]
