WEEK 6.
You've lost a lot of people this week, haven't you? Katniss Everdeen and Weiss Schnee were killed for rule violations, while Chie Hori and Frank Archer were murdered by Mikoto Suoh and Yuuki Terumi. It doesn't really matter how they died, though, does it? After all, they're dead now and the only thing you can do is keep moving forward. It seems like there's no end in sight. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Changes were promised to you this week; while Sunday dawns seeming no different from the previous weeks, it seems one change is going to remain a constant - namely, a new floor has been opened up to you. Whether this is a promising sign or not is something that you're going to need to decide for yourself. The important thing, for now, is that you continue to do well. |

WEDNESDAY
Retaliation.
It's not unlike when Alena went after Katniss a week ago; anyone who tries to stop her or ask questions will be met with something similar from Hilda – just a surprising amount of strength in pulling away and a complete unwillingness to answer anything about what she's doing or where she's off to.
She makes her way up to the second floor before leaving the stairwell; her destination appears to be the sewing room.
It may not seem like anything is that amiss, at first glance; it's occupied, yes, but that isn't unusual, given the number of people here who enjoy making clothing. However, the person sitting at the sewing machine tonight doesn't seem to be working; Orihime's got her head down and cradled in her arms, and her eyes are closed, her breathing deep and even.
Seems she's fallen asleep.
Hilda crosses over to her, businesslike, as soon as she's entered the room, and she reaches out to lay a hand on Orihime's head for a moment; it isn't the same gentle hair-stroking motion that Alena used, but it seems that the intent is the same – it's incredibly focused, and once she pulls away, Orihime doesn't seem like she's going to wake up for anything. Not for anyone else entering the room, or for anyone's touch, or in response to any sound that may be happening in the room.
And once that's done, Hilda reaches out one-handed toward open air, seeking a weapon of some sort in a way that's definitely familiar by now; what she finds is a sword, the blade shining black and red in color, and as soon as she's got it fully in her hand she drives it hard through Orihime's back, plunging the blade in deep and piercing her body clear through, back-to front.
Orihime's body jerks hard upon being stabbed, but the movement is strictly involuntary; she doesn't wake up even as the sword is roughly pulled back out again, causing blood to spill quickly into her lap and pool on the floor. Thankfully, mercifully, she seems to bleed out quickly; her breathing goes jagged for a few short moments before it stops completely.
Orihime Inoue is dead.
Hilda remains where she is, though the weapon dissipates cleanly into thin air again as she shifts her stance a bit into something less intense; after a moment, Jericho can be heard once again over the public-address system, sounding weird and detached again.]
Rule Three was broken again this evening. An actual rulebreak this time, not some sort of freak accident. She paid for it, but seriously, I'm pretty sure this isn't what any of you want.
We'll deal with the body. Anyone who's in there with it should probably leave her be.

When she enters the sewing room and sees who it is in there and the way she's slumbering, she freezes entirely. No. Not her, please not her, please—
She only has a moment to move through that visceral shock and horror before the weapon is plunging through Orihime's back and straight through to the other side. After another few moments of staring blankly, her hand drifting to the friendship bracelet the other young woman made her only a week ago. After that, there's only a noise of deep distress as she starts to back away.]
No...
[It's only visible for a moment or two before she storms out of the room, but there are tears starting to pool in her eyes as she hurries from the doorway.]

...Well, Sayaka is...probably going to make a quick trip inside to look at Orihime one last time, before turning on her heel and getting out with surprising speed. Maybe she's just upset over Orihime's death, but mostly? She just doesn't want to share space with Hilda.]

After she emerges, she barely hesitates before heading to the dojo. Should she see anyone enter—]
Would you be interested in sparring?
[Hand to hand combat might not be her greatest strength, but she has a great deal of restless energy to expel. She imagines the same is true for others.]

Do I seem the type to be of much use in a fight?

[They aren't her specialty either, but she has negative energy to get out and a little bit of experience now. Although most of her moves are imitated. Which is it's own form of painful, but she won't have much time to dwell on that in a fight.]

Rideaux can safely say he has never been asked to spar by a teenage girl before. But from what Adelina has told him, it doesn't surprise him as much as it could.]

Music is soothing. And that's what she looks to convey now when she plays-- even if she's not that good at it. It's nothing advance, however, the emotions that she's been holding on to all this time... she's able to let them out a little into her playing. The initial peace she plays is soft and sad but-- it has some hope in it still.]

Does anybody still want to eat things left out anymore? [After, you know. Everything.
Later on, Wednesday Happens.
Susan didn't know Orihime especially well, but this...is this going to happen every week now? People dying for stupid reasons like that? It isn't her fault; there's no reason sleeping out of doors should carry such a heavy penalty. A week ago she'd thought of asking Alena about it, but...too late now.
In the evening, she drops off some more pictures at the memorial. It has everybody now. Rin was right - if she did Kimblee for Sayaka's sake, she had to do Walter just to not be an utter hypocrite. Those portraits may not be the most labored-over, but nobody can come after her for that. She relights any candles that have gone out as well, and then sits nearby for a while reading a book.]

[Kyrie smiled sympathetically]
It's nothing against you, it's just that nobody's going to trust something that was left out.
