WEEK 6.
You've lost a lot of people this week, haven't you? Katniss Everdeen and Weiss Schnee were killed for rule violations, while Chie Hori and Frank Archer were murdered by Mikoto Suoh and Yuuki Terumi. It doesn't really matter how they died, though, does it? After all, they're dead now and the only thing you can do is keep moving forward. It seems like there's no end in sight. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Changes were promised to you this week; while Sunday dawns seeming no different from the previous weeks, it seems one change is going to remain a constant - namely, a new floor has been opened up to you. Whether this is a promising sign or not is something that you're going to need to decide for yourself. The important thing, for now, is that you continue to do well. |

And wow that is a continuation. On Sunday Kyrie does breakfast for everyone, and while she talks with people like usual, she seems to avoid people for the rest of the day. She has stuff to think about. Such behavior lasted the whole day.
On Monday, during the usual breakfast making, she seems to be deep in thought. She's not saddened, she is not angry, it's more like she's trying to decide what to think]
Kyrie, you're such a coldhearted woman.
[She says that aloud to herself -- with no hint of disgust, more like it's a common knowledge statement. It was meant to be only to herself, but it was loud enough someone nearby would have heard it. She really should watch around her before saying such things.
Later, she is at the chapel, sitting to the front of the chapel and putting her hands in the usual praying position. She's not praying, though. She has never been a religious woman in any way]
I have to wonder if me being here and alive is meant to be a second chance at life. What do I have to do to not let this second chance slip from between my fingers...?
[That's sure a loaded sentence, eh? But yeah, she's musing to herself again. She sure does a lot of that today]
breakfast!
Kyrie? Uh- ma'am? [ ...She's the kind of woman who demands a ma'am, honestly. ] You okay?

I'm not sure there's a god that'll answer that, here? I guess you could ask that Milla woman.

investigation?
'I want to be myself.
I want to keep on living!'
To start the day, she's in the library reading, but that's almost a normal thing for her and a normal place to find her. She's reading fairytales, it seems, ones with happy endings. Not to escape, but to give her hope and the will to keep fighting.
She's notably calm today with that air of confidence about her.
After she's read some, she's going to be in the chapel praying. Funny, because she doesn't believe in gods or goddesses, but that doesn't mean that her people don't pray when they are looking for hope or strength. However, knowing this is a place of worship to call upon deities, perhaps there's a small chance it could happen. Though she honestly knows that no one is going to come and save them. It's just going through the motions, really.
In the evening Estelle will be in the game room, though she's there to investigate the door that her and Susan found two weeks ago. It was locked before, but maybe if she tries to slide it, it will open? She doubts it's that easy, but maybe she'll have a fresh idea how to open the door now that her mind is a lot more clear and time has passed.]

Throughout the day, she can be found roaming the hallways, but it's not aimless wandering. There are paintings in her hands, all of them of nature scenes. Mountains, rivers, forests and the like. She seems to be hanging them up on the walls at random locations within the building. If she sees anyone looking at her as she puts one up, she'll turn to them with a small smile.]
...Susan and I were discussing how taxing it has been to not be able to see the outside world for so long. We thought - this might help, at least a bit.
[After all of the paintings are hung on the walls, she goes to the kitchen to make food. It seems that now that her earlier task is finished, the restlessness is seeping back in. She doesn't have trouble focusing on making a meal, but she does turn towards anyone who might enter.]
What do you imagine they might be preparing for tomorrow?

To start the day, he can be found in the dojo. He's been coming here daily to keep himself in shape for when he gets out, and today is no exception. He has his hair tied back into a ponytail and is wearing his uniform shirt and slacks as his exercise outfit. As for the exercise itself, well...take your pick of him either doing various punches and kicks or the most aggressive damn front or backflips in succession you've ever seen. Apparently he's quite acrobatic. Either way, this is pretty much the only time of day Rideaux will be caught not looking completely prim and proper.
Once he's cleaned up from that, Rideaux spends some time in the sewing room, working on something that involves a lot of black and red fabric. He stops by the art room later on, grabbing some, you guessed it, black and red paints. All of this ends up being brought to room 24. What's it for?
In the evening, Rideaux is in the dining hall for dinner. As he eats, he idly clicks through the contents of a red flip phone. He seems pretty contemplative as he does this. Finally, he winds down from the day with a drink in the bar. Feel free to catch him making said drink or ask for one. As hinted before, he could use the distraction.]

Sayaka was honestly just coming by to kick the shit out of a mat and pretend she's kicking in Hilda's face, but she sees him performing some flips that may put an actual goddamn gymnast to shame? Of all of the things she actively expected to see, that...was pretty low on the list.
She'll have the courtesy to wait until he's, you know. Done with the current bunch of flips, knocking a bit.]
I can't say I ever expected you to be so acrobatic, Rideaux-san. [Like, seriously.] But, ah, do you need the room for yourself, or may I come in for a bit?

Yuri is also a late riser and so he lazed around some (otherwise he would've met Rideaux in the dojo first thing.) As he's ascending the stairs, looking around for any familiar faces, he manages to peer around on the fifth floor. This leads him to wandering straight into the art room. ]

Her dark laughter interrupts for her to ask, ]
So, I never got around to asking everyone. This secret going to ruin you back home once this is over?
[ Still, the same dark mood - caused by her dream the other day, made worse by the execution yesterday... well, it's persisting, and when she explored the other day she noticed it. The chapel. Her anger isn't such to utterly destroy it with a warhammer or anything (who would do that???) but it's more than enough that she's got her Bowie Knife with her and she's idly carving obscenities into the pews, walls, and even if there's not quite Christian symbology here, just generally defacing the place. .. Gods in general kind of suck anyway, fuck Terumi too.
That calms her down enough that in the evening Elda can be found playing with Ditty (got to let the blob get some exercise ... maybe?) in the Foyer, tossing the thing up and catching up, with him shifting into different shapes in the air. This is sure a thing that is happening. ]

But the dream wasn't without its good excitements, too. Rin spent most of Sunday in the art studio, working on her painting from last week, but she did a little artwork on herself as well. Thanks to a permanent red marker, this symbol has been emblazoned onto the back of Rin's right hand, and will be there all week. Focusing on the positives like that, even with the foreboding atmosphere hanging in the air, Rin started feeling more like her energetic self again.
It was a marked changed after Alena's execution in the foyer. After a short but calm conversation with Hilda, she retreated to Room 14 for the rest of the night. It might be a result of that, then, which sees Rin in the kitchen bright and early not long after it opens. Falling short of an apocalyptic event, this is the first time she's actually gone to breakfast since they awoke here all those weeks ago. She looks more awake, too, when she wanders in than she usually does when she stops in to make a morning up of tea.
Rin takes her breakfast to eat in the dining room, sitting across from the secrets wall and enjoying her food. But even after eating, empty plate slid away from her, she's content to stay a little longer. If you pass her by or come to sit too, she might ask you a question.]
Do you have siblings?
[Later in the day, she'll briefly hit up the art studio again, to pick up her painting. She'd just finished it when they were told to meet at the foyer, so it should be dry now. This is what she gets for putting it on a canvas, tbh, she should have just stuck to a sketch. Time to carry it down four flights of stairs I guess, and back to Room 14!]
