WEEK 6.

WEEK 6 You've lost a lot of people this week, haven't you? Katniss Everdeen and Weiss Schnee were killed for rule violations, while Chie Hori and Frank Archer were murdered by Mikoto Suoh and Yuuki Terumi. It doesn't really matter how they died, though, does it? After all, they're dead now and the only thing you can do is keep moving forward. It seems like there's no end in sight. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Changes were promised to you this week; while Sunday dawns seeming no different from the previous weeks, it seems one change is going to remain a constant - namely, a new floor has been opened up to you. Whether this is a promising sign or not is something that you're going to need to decide for yourself. The important thing, for now, is that you continue to do well. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 19

[Rideaux peers in, having heard Yuri's voice coming from inside as he was wandering by in the hall.

"...Wow," is right. How did something like that end up in the vending machine? He can't remember the last chance he got to sign a photo, he was so busy even before ending up here.

Needless to say that Yuri's comment is going to get a reply.]

I am flattered to hear you say that. Truly, I am.

[And of course it's delivered in the most Rideaux™ way.]

[ She's so... This is good. At least she's got this. ]

...Yeah. Uh, thanks. [ She closes her eyes, for a moment. Thinking. Hugging him one last time, at least. She got to do that, she should be satisfied with that. ] It was...well, not counting how long I've been on that island, about a year ago.

If you want to. [ What she wants to say is she wants it to help Sayaka too, but... She can barely think of anything but how upset she is over Michael, honestly. She manages the tiniest smile. ] I'd like that.

[ He'll just turn around to face the guy--he was a bit surprised to hear him speak up, but then again he hadn't been paying much attention to his surroundings. Even if it was only for a short while. ]

Well, glad I could help brighten up your day a little.

[ Even if his words are aimed towards being lighthearted, they're true. He doesn't mind giving out compliments. ]

So, you're pretty popular back home, huh? I had no idea.

Nah. I decided to finally kind of check it out so at least I know what's in here.

[ He wasn't really interested in it before when he's walked by it, but he thought it might be good to familiarize himself with the layout at least. ]

Have you been coming in here to do that sort of thing?

[For the first time since ever meeting Rin (or so it feels like to her), she hesitates before answering.]

Sure, just give me a sec!

[She gently closes her door. When she reopens it less than a minute later, Rin is invited into Casa Hibiki. Her room isn't terribly filled with decoration. There's a few pendants and knickknacks on her desk, but there's also a lot of paper. Looks like she's been writing? And knitting! There's yarn and colorful socks on her desk.]

[Hibiki just looks embarrassed.]

W-well, it's only to be expected, right? I'm a great idol who loves takin' on any kind of job!

[It's been a while since she's been able to say something so cocky.]

But thank you! I'm really flattered, Sayaka. I really did give it my all. I thought maybe if I sang hard enough, Takane'd feel it or somethin' like that.

[Hibiki's hostage. She probably mentioned the name at the meeting.]

Hm, hm...I don't think we're near the beach. I'd be able to tell somehow. I don't know how, but I'd know.

[It's an intuition thing?]

A buildin' like this...maybe there's a courtyard outside? Or some apartment buildings? Somethin' like that. But if we haven't been found yet, maybe we're somewhere really isolated in the country. It could be anythin'!

That'd be really great! What's your favorite kind of music? You're from America, right? Maybe you like rock and roll?

Behind each idol, there's a heck of a lot of work. I actually have vocal trainin' every week, and then there's my dance teacher, our costume designers, photographers...

[She'll let him hold it if he wants to. Takane's a real cutey. Hibiki's worn her idol outfit enough by now that he should notice it matches Takane's, too.]

Yeah. She's real tough. I don't think I've ever seen her cry. But she's real weird, too. I have no idea how she'll act if she's in...when she's in our situation.

Vending Machine

...you got one too? [Just how many autographed photos does Rideaux have?] Just what kind of people would want his autograph?

Of course I do, especially if it'll help you...

[Sayaka smiles, then, and begins to sing; much like the first time she did this, she slows it down so it's...more soothing than energetic, and she'll just kind of pull Alex a bit closer while she does so.

She knows she can't do much, or...ask much, in truth. But more than anything, if it gets her mind off of Naegi and how she's basically screwed him over again...well, maybe it's good.]

You won't do something like forgiving them if they give a good enough reason...will you?

[Well, Kyrie wouldn't be surprised if you do, but yeah]

[She squeaks a bit at that. Literally, at this point she'd be one of those anime characters who has like, little hearts and steam coming from her head--]

You're so sweet...but you're the greatest girlfriend ever, so there. [help her, her girlfriend is too good at this]

Huh, alright.

[ As far as he's concerned, given what the secret mentioned about his father's occupation, he can understand why the guy said that. Hmm, well, he'll just ask about something else. ]

...Say, why'd you want to become a councilman anyway?

You don't have to be experienced with love to sing about it.

[Or...does it? How does the idol industry work? Hell if she knows.

Kyrie sighs. This will either go great, or it'll be a disaster]

That's fine, but surely there's someone in this place you trust enough to confide in them how you really feel, right? Don't pretend with them.

[ Hell yeah. ]

Sounds like it'd be a blast.

[ ... Get it? Because explosions. ]

So, with all this talk of movies and all, I'm going to guess you've got a favorite?

Well, I mean, he is a priest, his proclivities aside. I'm not sure he needs to be served, but...

[ Well, she waves the knife in hand, shrugging a little. ]

You asked everyone else who they feel?

I suppose it does go right along with my interest in fashion, yes.

[He's big into customizing whatever he can. Especially here. Making his room a little more like...well, his, is a decent way to make the situation a little more bearable.

When they get to Rideaux's room, he fumbles for his key in his pocket. While he tries to be as graceful as possible in all situations, this is definitely one that he is failing at. He almost drops some stuff in the process. But he eventually gets the door open and backs up to let Yuri in first.]

You can put the pile on my desk.

[The interior isn't entirely different than the last time Yuri saw it, but there are a bunch of fabrics on Rideaux's bed for when he continues decorating.]

[Susan considers, then shrugs.]

No...not really. I guess it's more of an impression I got. With things like this, I would think that a religious person would...I don't know, be praying all the time or something. We could use God's help, if there were one.

[ninehundredlives]

Don't say that yet, you haven't eaten them. [She considers this for a second.] God, I hope nobody gets poisoned this week.

Yeah that's definitely a lot. Hopefully you guys at least get a good amount of breaks from all of that stuff.

[ He's not counting the whole 'being thrown into a murdergame all of a sudden' as a real 'break', though.

He'll probably hold it for a little bit; he supposes that's fair to say. People can react radically different from when they would normally in stressful situations. ]

She's weird? In what way?

It was a little funny that he didn't come check on her, don't you think? When Weiss died. He sounded...I don't know, maybe worried? About her readings...I wonder how he was tracking her vitals?

Maybe he actually can't come here for some reason.
