WEEK 6 You've lost a lot of people this week, haven't you? Katniss Everdeen and Weiss Schnee were killed for rule violations, while Chie Hori and Frank Archer were murdered by Mikoto Suoh and Yuuki Terumi. It doesn't really matter how they died, though, does it? After all, they're dead now and the only thing you can do is keep moving forward. It seems like there's no end in sight. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Changes were promised to you this week; while Sunday dawns seeming no different from the previous weeks, it seems one change is going to remain a constant - namely, a new floor has been opened up to you. Whether this is a promising sign or not is something that you're going to need to decide for yourself. The important thing, for now, is that you continue to do well. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 19

I mean, it is, it's just something you can only do sparingly, or they'll get wise.

Does he have some sort of control over time and space?

Oh, so secret passages and the like? Well, I'd imagine that would be useful, but... I wouldn't be too surprised if the Coordinators disabled them or modified them so they wouldn't work as well.

Likewise. But it was the girl's last request... so it seems only right to look into it.

[A small laugh.]

Like sneaking out?

See? I'm already predictable! [ She grins lightly. ]

[he lied, or at least he thinks he did.]

[That's met with another laugh.]

Yes. I had something important to do, and I knew that the castle guards would not let me depart if they knew my plan, so...

[A small smile.]

In that way, you and I are alike.

Well, yours sounds like...for your quest or something, something awfully noble. But we are a little different.

[bloodbiter]

[She shakes her head.]

It was something that would bring me satisfaction. The same is true for you, is it not?

...Yeah. Huh. You're right, point retracted.

Well, that's how it usually goes in stories, isn't it? You try to fix something, and by doing that, you just end up making it worse.

Ah, really? There are people basically fly by airbending, but they're pretty rare nowadays. Airbenders are strongly associated with creatures called sky bison, though, which are big enough to carry people and can fly with really no issue.

...I'm not sure if that's a compliment to the ghosts, or a demerit against me.

...Whatever it is, this once they're not wrong. There are times when it's important to understand what goes against your nature, but this isn't one of them. You won't be wiser for it, or benefit in any way, so why compromise yourself?

No. He exists completely outside of time and space, actually. [Her face is a little sadder at that, regarding the painting.] But you could say his manager does. He made a contract with them, and... They provide the means for him to carry it out, essentially.

The past four Holy Grail Wars have had no winner. Either every participant was killed before one could reach it, or the Grail itself was destroyed.

Well, if someone had won it anyways, I wouldn't be participating now.
