Week 7.

WEEK 7 Orihime Inoue, Estellise Sidos Heurassein, and Kirei Kotomine all died this past week. One of your Coordinators died as well, leaving you with a new face but still no end to this. Several of you are finding yourselves at a crossroads: either keep moving forward, or accept the inevitability of fate. It's your own choice, your own decision; no one's going to make it for you. Over half of you are gone now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, a new floor has been opened to you; unfortunately, either this is a particularly strange reward or Jericho is starting to get downright sarcastic. Perhaps there's something in it for you despite the setup; who knows, though there's really only one way to find out. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 16

Indomitable said it pretty nicely—dead people usually stick around because of traumatic deaths or lingering regrets! They do it for unfinished business too, I think...

But it's really, like, super totally weird that everyone who's died is around though. I wonder if they're trapped or something? Like... With possession? There's stories of items being haunted like that and spooks not being able to get out unless that item's like, broken. I guess in this case they'd be possessing the academy itself though.....?

Attentive had some earlier too and thought it tasted great, so you're totally right! And I made Courageous a birthday cake after the trial a few days ago since, like, I felt like it, and she seemed to really like it too...

I think the only one who'd be terribly surprised is Tenzin, considering he's the only one who really cared about my blatant power grabs back home, so he'd probably be shocked I haven't made any.

Kidding, of course, but Sayaka will stay perfectly still to allow Rin to finish up over there. Just kind of humming a bit in the process, but...the idea of that does make her happy as a clam.]

The first time went alright, until she...decided to call what I do to remember people weird. You know, trying to memorize what I could about them. [...the weird dead people way, you know, that thing Kimblee used to do.] I found it awful rude for a horrid woman like her to consider that weird, and...well, the most recent one, uh...in hindsight, the question I asked was kind of awful, but I don't think I'll be speaking to her again.

[She'll promptly toss Elda the note she has with her. The handwriting is actually really nice...

Ugh. I think she'd probably be better off with some sort of stuffed animal.

But... hm. Well, I always wanted a pet of some sort, but I never really had time for one. We don't get as many strays in the area of the city I live in, and I've usually tried to arrange for the ones I did find to get homes, if they could.

So I always just stuck to bird watching and bird feeders, since they're not domesticated.

Well I can't say we enjoy it, but it is the way it is, unfortunately. In contrast to Rieze Maxia, Elympios is much more technologically-advanced. So if there is a decent trade-off, that would be it.

[The subject of keeping the flowers is definitely going to be something that Rideaux brings up in a little bit here... But in the meantime, he nods to Yuri's question.]

Sure. Honestly, the main thing I'm missing at this point is my set of knives. [...he finds himself considering if he's ever mentioned having a weapon of choice to Yuri before.] But I am curious to see if anything else cropped up, since I certainly wasn't expecting my signed photo to appear.

[Yes, Rideaux is back on his feet by the time Yuri comes back at him. He certainly doesn't want to take the brunt of that to his side (...force of habit, really, even though it's not really a weak spot spot for him anymore) but he doesn't quite have enough time to get out of the way either. So he's going to have to compromise a bit. He lifts his arm up to to block the kick, wincing as it collides. They are going to end up with a bunch of bruises again, aren't they?

He's not going to let up on the fast pace of this match though, and so he takes this moment to attempt to land a hit on Yuri's open side with his free arm.]

That is strange... If I were to hazard a guess I would say that the Coordinators simply don't want us trying to burn the place down so they've applied something fire-resistant to the furniture and fixtures. That does not account for the piano strings, though.

Well, anyone can handle a weapon. The difference is, some can handle them well.
