Week 7.
Orihime Inoue, Estellise Sidos Heurassein, and Kirei Kotomine all died this past week. One of your Coordinators died as well, leaving you with a new face but still no end to this. Several of you are finding yourselves at a crossroads: either keep moving forward, or accept the inevitability of fate. It's your own choice, your own decision; no one's going to make it for you. Over half of you are gone now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, a new floor has been opened to you; unfortunately, either this is a particularly strange reward or Jericho is starting to get downright sarcastic. Perhaps there's something in it for you despite the setup; who knows, though there's really only one way to find out. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week seven of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Hilda!]
SUNDAY

Well, what's done is done, now. She's here, he's there, and if the rules play out the same way, he's gonna die for what he did. Maybe some small bit of spite toward that boy...but...
Well, Sayaka definitely stays around Room 2 today, kind of halfway between dozing off again and trying to wake up. The dream was still a little bit tiring, and she's...kind of just wanting to keep somewhat to herself. It's kind of weird, to feel resignation this late in the game they're playing, but...she's still here. She's still here, and you know what? That matters quite a bit.
In the afternoon, Sayaka can be found exploring the new floor--mostly? Exploring that new Library, just kind of...puzzled as hell? Seriously, wasn't one of these floors enough? The fact that she can't read a single thing in here either, that's...quite lovely. Still, she's in here browsing the books with the most 'Really?' expression on her face.
In the evening, though? Sayaka's retiring to the kitchen, and it looks like she's got a lot of different things going on the stove? Her usual curry, tonkatsu, and...honestly, she'll take requests at this point? She'll set them out at the table for anyone to take with a note;]
Please take as much as you'd like! ♥
- Sayaka
[...She seems happy, though, either way. It's a good distraction, cooking like a good child with nothing better to do.]
Library #2
So, you know what any of this says in here? Because I'm stumped.

Those words are ringing in her head as she wakes up, but it’s a shadow of the freshly remembered physical pain that sticks with her first. The scratches on her face and forehead, the wound on her shoulder, and the agony of pressure on her ribs so fierce that they must have broken. She curls in on herself as she remembers it, but then - the rest falls in, like pieces of a puzzle. As it registers, she brings a hand up to her mouth in shock. That isn’t... That’s not how it was supposed to end. That’s what she keeps thinking as the horror settles in further, as the reality of the situation dawns on her. That isn’t right. The first sob comes out without her realizing she’s crying, and more are quick to follow.
For the past six weeks, no matter what she has remembered, Adelina has risen at a normal hour and left her room to make breakfast and socialize with the others. This Sunday, she doesn’t leave her room at all.]
Adelina's Room
It takes a bit, but...Sayaka will knock on Adelina's door, having a plate of breakfast prepared for her. She's done so much, but if something's happened...well, it's time to give back, right?]

VERY SHORT INVESTIGATION QUESTION -- AT THE END OF THE POST
She had correctly predicted her own actions. No surprise there at all. She aimed for the money, and started doing everything she could to get it. Her sharp mind made a quick plan that'd lead to her and Rudolf having it. Rudolf agreed to cooperate.
What she didn't expect...was that she was nonchalantly putting Battler's life at risk. She threatened Rudolf that, if Battler wasn't fooled by the excuses he'd say, they'd have to get rid of him. Of course Rudolf didn't like that. Knowing him, he'd find a way to keep Battler safe.
The problem was that she was threatening Battler. What was she doing? That was her son! Did she not know or something? What was going on with that? And more importantly:
Did she kill Battler?
Breakfast making
Despite how worried and confused she is, Kyrie is hiding it very well. She's working on the breakfast all by herself, but she's only one woman making breakfast for sixteen people]
Do you have any cooking skills? I think I'm biting more than I can chew.
[New Library
This is strange. A much larger library, with no language they can read? Maybe they can read it! That's why Kyrie takes a few books to the library they received during the second week, and starts looking into dictionaries and the such to try to pinpoint the language.
No progress at all. Still, this is suspicious and important]
Looks like that library's existence will be important. If I had to guess, the library we're at right now was specifically made for us, while the library that opened this week has always existed here. If we can find out what kind of books are there, we should be able to have a clue about this world.
[Could she be lucky enough to find a clue while she's taking books? Like anything falling from a book, or finding something behind them?]

Afterwards, he heads to the newest floor, and spends a significant amount of time in the seventh floor library, flipping through the books with an increasing amount of bafflement. What the hell language is this? He's not a linguist by far, but all of the other books have been perfectly readable, despite the impossibility of the situation. But now...?
Well this is weird, to say the least.]

[Susan has poked around here for a little bit, and found absolutely nothing intelligible, thanks Jericho]

Investigation!
Tarrlokshe got something fun recently. She got a weird device that matches a description that Blue gave her once before she died. Namely, she's got this shit. Elda... Elda is now on a mission all day today. She had an interesting memory, she has some people to talk to, but this takes priority. She's adventuring all over the facility with this newfound vision but this includes (but is no way limited to):
1) All of the rooms of dead people she has access to
2) All the bathrooms (all floors, both genders)
3) Both libraries
4) The bar (like... of course the bar)
5) Every room someone has died in and the surrounding hallways
6) Her own room
... And she's also sort of experimentally looking around in general. She keeps up this exploration all day and all night, sort of re-checking every room at night in addition to day. Everyone. Can encounter her doing this. ]

[They literally just talked about this, so Susan is quick to come over and investigate Elda and her weird spyglass thing.]

When she wakes, for a change she skips breakfast and instead goes to the new library to sit and think.]
How many sacrifices have been made that I have simply accepted as necessary...?
[Here, back home...]
Perhaps there really was no way to change those fates, but even so I...
[She bites her lip. It's not like her, but she does have regrets. Honestly at some point her stomach probably rumbles but... it doesn't seem like she's noticed.]
