Initiative.
Rachel looks a bit conflicted about what should happen from here; Lisbeth is still on the floor, but she's told her what she should do, and so... Well, she's never really been good at saying no, though she does walk up and reach out to pet Lisbeth's hair gingerly for a moment before turning to everyone else. "We should leave." And with that, the courtroom changes, all at once; it was one thing, and then quite simply it isn't, and the podium circle has been replaced with a round spread of consoles wrapping around a center spire. The room is no longer concrete and steel, but rather stark white, all done up in glossy tile that looks like it'd crack if you hit it hard enough with something – that said, it's not recommended to try, given that it's just as indestructible as everything else in the building. Rachel approaches the consoles, reaching out to touch them, fingers tapping gently against several of the unmarked buttons; it's probably not precisely necessary for her to do so, given the state of things, but she seems to like doing it, so do it she shall. There are a pair of slots that look like keycards are required; she glances at them for a second before manipulating more buttons, causing a small panel to open up in front of her – it looks like an authorization mechanism of some sort, the kind that you press your hand against to get it to recognize you. "It's going to be a bit jarring when you wake up; sorry about that, but you've been asleep for a really long time. I'd suggest giving it a moment." She pauses, though, once that's out there, glancing back at everyone. "I'll be on the other side with you, but not like this. We can still talk, though, if you like." And with that she just turns and presses her hand against the panel without waiting for an answer; the next thing you're aware of is the flash. |
LISBETH

[ Elda's voice feels weird as she says it. Lisbeth's blood also smells weird (probably) - this must be what a vampire that isn't one of her own smells like. But the small woman made her way into the room after some of her initial reunions. After all, she...
Well, maybe she just wanted to check in on her. ]

Lisbeth isn't talking to Alena at the moment - they've...kind of got a lot to work through before progress is made - so she's just kind of sitting off somewhere on her own; she seems more awkward than anything, especially when Elda approaches.]
Honestly? I still kind of hate everyone. It'll pass, though.

[ . . . Is it? ]
... Is it clear that you will be able to move Rachel from the building? ... Ah, or at least hopeful?

... That you allowed us to survive means I trust the implication of your word, you won't commit to more of this madness, but if by some fluke someone ever finds this, wouldn't it be better to get rid of the possibility of more games?
[ ... That's what she's thinking anyway. Feel free to counteract. ]

Don't worry about it, that's part of the plan.

Hilda probably won't like it too much, but we're going to try to set it to be destroyed immediately before we leave. Timer and everything. If we screw it up, we'll have a few opportunities to get it right, assuming we don't fuck it up so bad that I die in the attempt.
[Lisbeth, that's morbid.]

... I've a few more questions, if you're willing.

They really are sort of the same size, height and body type both, and Sigrun looks her up and down for a moment before raising a hand.]
Hi. Never really met. Sort of met once? But not really. [A pauses, and she'll lower her hand.
She has to punch Lisbeth at some point, and she definitely intends to? But not right now.] Sorry about your world. I mean, I never experienced mine, but... I know how it is. What the aftermath's like.

She doesn't flinch or move when Sigrun's hand comes up; she doesn't seem altogether surprised when she puts it down, either. The words, though...]
...Yeah, I know.
[...]
Sorry about yours, too.

So it's no big deal, just something I grew up with. Things'll come back in time. Might even be a city here again someday, give it a century or two. Stuff for your descendants to have.

[...Yeah.]

[You gotta have some optimism in your life, Lisbeth.]
You just won't be around for it. Which is for the better, because I think you girls have had enough bullshit for ten lifetimes. Or a hundred. Whichever.

Okay, point. I definitely did. But you definitely deserve a break, and then after you've had your break I want to punch you, because you deserve that too.

[It looks like Blue's still intent on being the most obnoxious person alive, although the cheer's at least a little tastefully subdued. It's probably for the best that "a little cuter" isn't given any context, given the adventures of hot or not earlier.]

...Thanks?

Heeeeeeeeey. Youuuu. How you holding up?
[.............oh god she forgot her real name.]

I'm...all right, I guess.
[She's about eight thousand lightyears from all right, but.]
I've been better, and I still kind of hate everyone. But...yeah.
