Initiative.

Rachel looks a bit conflicted about what should happen from here; Lisbeth is still on the floor, but she's told her what she should do, and so... Well, she's never really been good at saying no, though she does walk up and reach out to pet Lisbeth's hair gingerly for a moment before turning to everyone else.

"We should leave."

And with that, the courtroom changes, all at once; it was one thing, and then quite simply it isn't, and the podium circle has been replaced with a round spread of consoles wrapping around a center spire. The room is no longer concrete and steel, but rather stark white, all done up in glossy tile that looks like it'd crack if you hit it hard enough with something – that said, it's not recommended to try, given that it's just as indestructible as everything else in the building.

Rachel approaches the consoles, reaching out to touch them, fingers tapping gently against several of the unmarked buttons; it's probably not precisely necessary for her to do so, given the state of things, but she seems to like doing it, so do it she shall. There are a pair of slots that look like keycards are required; she glances at them for a second before manipulating more buttons, causing a small panel to open up in front of her – it looks like an authorization mechanism of some sort, the kind that you press your hand against to get it to recognize you.

"It's going to be a bit jarring when you wake up; sorry about that, but you've been asleep for a really long time. I'd suggest giving it a moment."

She pauses, though, once that's out there, glancing back at everyone.

"I'll be on the other side with you, but not like this. We can still talk, though, if you like."

And with that she just turns and presses her hand against the panel without waiting for an answer; the next thing you're aware of is the flash.

Do you still hate me, Lisbeth?

[ Elda's voice feels weird as she says it. Lisbeth's blood also smells weird (probably) - this must be what a vampire that isn't one of her own smells like. But the small woman made her way into the room after some of her initial reunions. After all, she...

Well, maybe she just wanted to check in on her. ]

That's fair.

[ . . . Is it? ]

... Is it clear that you will be able to move Rachel from the building? ... Ah, or at least hopeful?

Obviously, I'm in no position to impose... but I do have a suggestion? Request? If or when that's possible.

That you destroy this building, when you're capable.

... That you allowed us to survive means I trust the implication of your word, you won't commit to more of this madness, but if by some fluke someone ever finds this, wouldn't it be better to get rid of the possibility of more games?

[ ... That's what she's thinking anyway. Feel free to counteract. ]

... Don't make it sound so morbid! I- we didn't work so hard to talk you down just to have you die on us!

Good, though. I'm glad that we're on the same page there, at least.

[ . . . ]

... I've a few more questions, if you're willing.

Well no, you're still entitled to tell me off.

[ After all, this is her building. But Elda shrugs and settles into a seat near Lisbeth. ]

Do you guys have the means to give us the ability to go to other worlds?

... Aaaah. That puts a complication on something with Aligula.

[ But then...

... You know, whatever, that's the price she pays for it. ]

... I guess that also makes talking Alex into it that much more important. Ahwell, I know where I belong anyway.

Do you?

[Cas...ca...da- wait who is-

... Oh. Oh, right, her superpowers have some sort of embodiment, right? And she said she could talk to it? Elda blinks in confusion before narrowing her eyes, following the gaze, and then nodding to herself. ]

- Honestly, I think that's for the best. This has proved to me its possible for vampires and humans to co-exist in some fashion, but if this Dio fellow was dangerous enough to end up on that list even if you removed it... a dangerous vampire might make things unlivable for your sisters. It'd probably mean abandoning them.

[ Which is like... harsh? But she sort of assumes - projects, really - Lisbeth would appreciate someone else giving it voice. She knows she would. ]

If you want to strand yourselves somewhere peaceful enough it won't matter though, I can offer mine.

I couldn't really stop you, and selectively erasing your memory of the power at this point is probably impossible... But yes, that would be the implication.

[ So basically... trust. ]
