[There's not much that can be believed about that trial. Or that execution. Still, like before, two hours after everyone leaves, they'll find a note slipped underneath their doors.]

We have to stick together. The dining room is there for anyone that needs a quiet space, and I cooked dinner.

Hibiki made some coffee and dessert for all of us.

[Today's selection includes potato pancakes and a light coffee cake. Hibiki has lit two more candles in the dining hall. It doesn't take long before Mordecai lights a third.]

[The note is relatively short. I mean, c'mon. Tabby wrote it. Anyway it reads:

did you see during the trial? conductor talked to someone behind glass.

he seemed angry, like that was unexpected. has a control panel, maybe.

She sighs, looking a little sad.]

I, like, yelled at her or whatever. Maybe I'll ask later.

[Hmm. That's interesting. Logan tips his head a bit at that and then flips to a blank page in Dio's notebook. What he writes is simple.]

Bring paper and pens to the meeting on Tuesday. This is something we all need to discuss. Thank you.

We all need to attempt to work together. She may be willing to talk after everyone has calmed down.

[This trial was not as much of a mess as it could have been. Somehow. Despite the flying, screaming Dio head.]

[Tabby makes a face, mainly because ugh, reading. Why this?]

Ugh. Obviously. We wouldn't want a, like, repeat of Dio. Also yeah, you're right. I'll try talking to her tomorrow or whatever.

[He can't say they should have trusted Dio more, because what were they supposed to do with what they knew about him? Still... maybe things would have been different if Dio had been able to talk to someone about this.]

Doubt it. Not unless, like, the Hulk busts through the wall tomorrow and saves us all.

I'm not sure we should hope for outside help. If no one has come for us so far, it's possible they may not be able to get to us.

[pulls a pen from her pocket and sketches the Hulk in Dio's diary. because defacing dead people's property is always the answer.]

He's, like, this big green guy who smashes stuff. And he's also, like, an Avenger or whatever so he probably has better things to do than save us.

[decrees]

[What a beautiful sketch. Surely Dio will not complain about his diary gaining such a wonderful picture.]

Better things to do? Saving the world or something of the sort?

[Dio can complain to her face if he doesn't like it OH WAIT.]

[MAYBE WE CAN FIND A WAY TO REVIVE THE DIO HEAD???]

Ah, I see. Your powers sound incredible though, is there a reason you are ah... lower-ranked?

The Nextwave Squad is who you send in when, like, you don't care what happens so long as it gets fixed or whatever. [Is she saying they're lower-ranked because they kill people? Uh. Yeah.] We don't really, like. Follow the rules?

That does seem fitting. Do you enjoy your work?

Most superheros try to, like. Not blow up the whole city when they solve a problem. The government likes them way better. [Probably because they don't stop in the middle of their mission to write their name in fire, Tabby.] But since, like, that's my thing and stuff? I'm happy with what I do.

[decrees]

I can certainly see why that would be easier... But there is something to be said for enjoying what you do.

[Did you know he used to enjoy being king? Shocking, but true!]

With that said, I am glad I don't have to deal with that.

[And that gets the tiniest smirk, okay.]

If we get out of here, I'm gonna, like. Come to your kingdom and blow up Reaver's house or something.

It's one of the largest manors in Millfields. It's very close to Bower Lake, if that helps any. I'm afraid I'm not sure what it's made of; I've never visited.

So I can probably just blow it up with my powers . . . it being near a lake is good, though, because then I can, like, control the burn. I don't want to set the whole kingdom on fire, obviously.

[She actually pulled out her notebook and is writing this down - although it's in shorthand, so it probably doesn't make much sense.]

That would be appreciated. Millfields is near the forest and that would be a disaster.

[Then again, there's nothing in Silverpines but Balverines and a town no one cares about, so.
