WEEK 2.

WEEK 2

Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means.

No more excuses from here on out.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain?

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

I'm not going to let it trouble me, it's just something that I've been more aware of than I'd like.

[...No, really, shit's unsettling.]

...I do appreciate you letting me stay in here, however. Odd dreams or otherwise.
sadisticwarfare: (♕ 02)

[personal profile] sadisticwarfare 2017-09-17 10:57 pm (UTC)(link)
You're welcome. I don't mind the company at all.

[It was easier to actually fall asleep last night even if he did have a bizarre dream. Considering his usual insomnia, that was appreciated.]

You can stay as long as you'd like; I don't mind.
ninehundredlives: ([ open up ])

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2017-09-17 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah. Obviously I'm not going to wear them.

[Or, well, this. She holds up the wedding dress in front of her body. It seems like it wouldn't be a bad fit...but still.]

I need extra outfits, but this is worse than the uniform.
greenmamabear: (Color me surprised)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-17 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)
[A low whistle.]

Well, someone can probably make good use of it. I don't know how but. Someone.
sleepytimegal: (kicking everyday)

[personal profile] sleepytimegal 2017-09-17 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Oh, that's right there are. Other people here, aren't there, other...people who exist, outside of her and these photos and the memories they represent that couldn't have possibly happened. Alex dimly nods but at the same time refuses to let go of the one she's holding. The hand that's trying to gather up the other photos, it drifts to the face of the boy in that picture, shaking. Michael... ]

This- this is impossible.
matchbreaker: (MY NUTS)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-17 11:15 pm (UTC)(link)
...Why?

[ Okay, she'll just.. collect all these up then? Or something? ... Honestly, at this point, the girl's face is a lot more interesting so she doesn't even think to steal her other stuff as she's getting the rest of the photos in order and glancing at them.

... Oh.

a lot of these looks almost like the same photos, but with different people? ]

It's a hell of a lot better than anything I'd be able to do, that's for sure.

[ If her dream...memory? Whatever it was, if that was anything to go off of, the difference between their voices was night and day. Even if it was just exercises, there was a tone to her sound that didn't strike her as something that would come from an idol's music. For some reason, she always associated that sort of J-pop sound with autotuned vocals and synthesized instruments, but Sayaka's vocals are perfectly respectable in their own right. Far exceeded what Chitoge could do herself, if given a microphone.

She can't help but speak up, but she doesn't approach just yet, content to hang back by the doorway. ]

I can see why that crowd of a couple hundred went nuts.
firstaid: (Eh?)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-17 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
[She looks at the pocket watch in her hands and holds it out for Kimblee to see better. Given his expression and tone, she wonders if it's something that belongs to him, especially since she got a personal item out of the machine herself.]

It came from that machine. Do you recognize it?
firstaid: (curiouser and curiouser)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-17 11:50 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know. It's seems to be a robot of some sort with vacuuming capabilities.

[And it amuses her to hell and back. It also serves as a wonderful distraction since she doesn't want to recall her dream at all.]
matchbreaker: (Depression News)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-17 11:52 pm (UTC)(link)
It doesn't seem that smart!

[ It's heading right towards that wall... she's watching it while on her little perch... ]
perpend: (☂ perfect fits)

[personal profile] perpend 2017-09-18 12:01 am (UTC)(link)
I agree. In normal circumstances, these would be mundane, but you don't even need too large of a dosage for some of these to become fatal. I doubt we have access to these for our health.
perpend: (☂ puttin' on the ritz)

[personal profile] perpend 2017-09-18 12:02 am (UTC)(link)
[He'd offer to make her some tea, but the rules being what they are....]

We've been through a lot in this past week.
firstaid: (think; princess; ponder)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-18 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
Given it's a machine, I don't expect it to be all that smart.

[And bump into the wall it does before it turns course. At least it doesn't hit the wall over and over...]
matchbreaker: (Fear is the heart of love)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-18 12:09 am (UTC)(link)
Don't you expect there to be some extra smart things, machines and all?

[ Maybe she's thinking too scifi... ]
firstaid: (Content)

library

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-18 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
What are you reading?

[Estelle's set up camp in the library and so seeing others come in, she wants to know their preferences and such. Also please discuss books with her. Maybe they can discuss Faust--

ANYWAY...

She's kinda in his personal space now, but not too close that it's uncomfortable?]
firstaid: (soft smile of contentment)

laundry room

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-18 12:14 am (UTC)(link)
[While she's been in the library most of the day, she really finds she can't sit too long right now. So she's walking around when she passes the laundry room and sees Luca.]

Do you need to learn how to use the machine?

[BECAUSE GUESS WHO KNOWS HOW TO USE THEM! Yes, this gal! While she's not as bubbly as she was when she talked to Luca yesterday, she's doing what she can to keep herself together.]
firstaid: (recite)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-18 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
Machines just run on energy, so I don't really think so. Of course, I've seen some that are possessed, but as soon as you get rid of their power source they're nothing to be afraid of.

[So she's seen 'smart machines', but she knows that technically humans are smarter.]
matchbreaker: (She-Hulk!)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-18 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
... You've seen ghosts in the machines?
perpend: (☂ on that famous thoroughfare)

[personal profile] perpend 2017-09-18 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
I agree. Who knows when it'll come in handy to know what's stocked where. There's plenty in the storage room, too.
perpend: (☂ if you're blue and you don't know)

[personal profile] perpend 2017-09-18 12:21 am (UTC)(link)
[He claps when she bows.]

It certainly hasn't!

It's more important than ever that we find ways to keep morale up-- our own, and that of others.
firstaid: (hmm?)

kitchen

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-18 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
[At least Susan isn't alone in feeling uneasy, but Estelle is at least aware enough of her surroundings to understand that maybe she isn't the only one that had an odd dream.]

Did you have a difficult time sleeping last night, Susan?
firstaid: (Normal)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-18 12:24 am (UTC)(link)
Not ghosts, per se, more like they've gone out of control and seem like they've gained a consciousness of their own?

[Said while she looks at the roomba that's now spinning and picking a new direction to vacuum.]
matchbreaker: (With a chicken wing...)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-18 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
... Doesn't that mean that the robots are rebelling? Isaac Asimov?
firstaid: (Clueless)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-18 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
Rita can always hack into them and fix them, so I don't think so? Also, who's Isaac Asimov?
matchbreaker: (Jokes it's not Zelda)

1/2

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-18 12:31 am (UTC)(link)
[ . . . Again with that Rita girl. ]
