WEEK 5 Tabitha Smith, Sigrun Eide, and Solf J Kimblee are all dead. Regardless of what you think of the trial or the events leading up to it, there's no denying that you can feel the dent in your numbers now. After all, ten people are gone now. It may be hard, but all you can do is keep going. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... What with Jericho's excitement at the last trial, it's evident now more than ever that the new floor that's opened up to you is a gift, a reward for a job well-done. Because while surviving is something that you'll continue to try to do of your own merit...well. Let's say that he's so, so very proud of you. Yeah. It wasn't really that bad this week, actually? They've mostly involved serial killers. So I thought I should make myself useful while I can...

That wasn't really what I meant. There's a lot of steps between being okay and...that.

[He laughs a little.]

No, I'm not okay. Between what I'm remembering, and everything that's happened here... it does things to you.

Yeah. It reeeeeeally does.

I might be dead? But it's strange; Kimblee was scarred so badly from what happened to me, and I don't have any wounds in the spot I was show.

...oh. I'm...sorry to hear that.

[She doesn't seem particularly shocked, but then, everyone knows there's dead people walking around now.]

Maybe you came back in a different way. Something that didn't involve Jericho. I've remembered dying a few times, and I haven't got any scars either.

....Maybe. Everything's been strange enough as it is, what I've been remembering. It wouldn't surprise me in the least at this point.

It sounds a lot like magic, but I don't have a reason to believe it isn't true at this point.

I don't think anyone would believe a dead man could commit murder. Let alone a dead man using his own body to commit a murder.

[More proof that Ghost Trick's plot sounds insane out of context.]

Well, if we ever get out of here, I'm sure there's plenty of ways to make it unusable.

...Believe me, I would like that. But his corpse is... unusual. Seemingly impervious to damage, and I don't have to say how impossible that should be.

...something to think about, I guess. I'm sure you've tried to secure it already.

[But, hm. Maybe one thing at a time, then.]

There's no real way to secure it when it can walk out of a locked morgue room on its own.

I guess that's not really something we need to deal with right now. [She has a few ideas but they're really morbid.] But you've survived. You can have another shot at him.

Nothing so far. There's no obvious way out.
