WEEK 5.
Tabitha Smith, Sigrun Eide, and Solf J Kimblee are all dead. Regardless of what you think of the trial or the events leading up to it, there's no denying that you can feel the dent in your numbers now. After all, ten people are gone now. It may be hard, but all you can do is keep going. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... What with Jericho's excitement at the last trial, it's evident now more than ever that the new floor that's opened up to you is a gift, a reward for a job well-done. Because while surviving is something that you'll continue to try to do of your own merit...well. Let's say that he's so, so very proud of you. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 23 |

[OOC: Welcome to week five of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

[Ehem.]
The circle itself is the starting point for any design, and the means Of keeping everything orderly and ensuring that nothing gets out of hand. Thus, it should be perfect, and drawn twice. It should be drawn on, or around the materials you want to transmute.
The basic symbols are as follows--the four triangles represent some basic elements. In order, they are fire, air, earth, and water--what they mean individually to someone will effect what they're trying to do, but they all have certain basic properties. Fire is used for fusing and melting, which can also be considered purification or cleansing. Air is used for infusing substances with another. Earth can be used for transmuting stone, metal, or base materials into one another, and...grounding your trasmutation in a literal sense, from what he said. And water can be used for the transmutation of liquids, and it's a different form of fire's cleansing.
[BREATHES.]
The next two symbols are something he didn't have much experience with himself, but the first one is a crucible symbol for creation with raw materials. The second is one he stated was of personal interest--terra, which is used for life manipulation regarding soils and fertility of natural life. Then he drew a pentagon and a hexagon, stating that the left is for the use of transmuting multiple materials, while the hexagon is more for getting specific reactions.
[...breathes again. That...that isn't all of it, the rest was personalish and she's not sure Elda's interested, but she just needs a moment.]

If it wasn't already blindingly obvious I liked you, I think this is where I took back ever calling you a doll.
[ She says this with a mildly proud looking smirk. She did, indeed, keep attention that whole time. She does study things she's interested in with writing... but to hear it out loud like this is a lot more pleasant. ]

[Still, that...that gets a bit of a smile out of her, though? She's actually kind of happy with that remark.]
Thank you, though. It's something I really want to see through, you know? So I'm gonna take this very, very seriously.

[ Still, she's going to lean in and around Sayaka now to look at whatever circles she might be working on now. and based on the ramble she walked in on... ]
Something related to plants?
no subject
[at least she didn't get decked in the face for calling it magic]
Yeah! The thing I want to do is use my alchemy to make the world beautiful...I want to fill it with flowers, and...perhaps even life in general, if I should get to that point.
[Most of her new circles are fairly rudimentary--there's a couple just plain messed up circles, mostly from Sayaka trying to get the drawing down right. But the main two seem to be a combination of air, water, intersected with one another with terra in the center, and one with the creation crucible with terra in the center. It's a pretty common theme, at least--terra seems to have most of her interests.]

[ I mean either way, here, have the notes back. But she looks thoughtful here, tapping her finger on Sayaka's work ]
Do you need to draw specific things in order to let it know what sort of seeds you're working on, I wonder? Like ... an acron grows very differently than a sunflower seed.
no subject
I...think it's more of a generalized reaction, rather than tailored specific to each kind of flower. As interesting as that would be, I think it's more a trigger, than anything else.
[...things she wishes she could ask, in hindsight.]
no subject
[ Hmmm... ]
Guess you've got to be good at precise drawings, too.
no subject
[And she doubts she could stand getting them like, tattooed on her hands like Kimblee did his. Maybe she could get some kind of gauntlet, though, for easy keeping...]

She loves it
She was going to ask about the memories Sayaka may or may not have gotten, but the thought dies quickly. She laughs a little, and leans back in her chair. She pulls her pencil out, and then will be getting up to get some paper. She'll be starting her own sketch. ]
True, true. You'll have to be working quite diligently. I'm glad you have such a goal.
no subject
Thank you...I'm honestly glad to have this chance. It's something I would have never really given thought to back home, but...
[Sayaka just...kind of smiles, idly? It's nice. This is nice.]
...I promised that I'd make the world beautiful, and I'm gonna make good on it.
no subject
[ She says this idly, sketching out the beginnings of a person - a woman, specifically - on her own paper. ]
no subject
[Just make little gardens for all of her precious people. She doesn't know shit about floriography, but maybe she can learn.
...She will take peaks at Elda's paper from time to time, though, while she works. Mostly to see who she's drawing? She's curious.]

Is this someone you know? She looks...very pretty.
[If a little cruel faced, from the few times she saw the face drawn. Why was Elda drawing her, if she's clearly so rude...?]
no subject
She's someone that I met years and years ago. She was infuriatingly gorgeous, actually.
no subject
[She looks the part, but...hmm. She's kind of curious.]
no subject
[ . . . But that comes out too harsh, and her cheeks color as she tries to edit the face ]
... I only met her on the boat to Japan, all those years ago. Her name's Cecelia Armash... or was, she might well be dead by now, I suppose.
no subject
Old age? ...I don't know if that's a concept that exists for all of you, but...
[That seems legit to her?]
no subject
[ She nods, that's the case, yes. ]
I'd only just realized in that dream I had last night that that wench Calera is her daughter.
no subject
[That makes sense to her, at least, and she nods her head. That next bit, that's...]
Is Calera-san someone else you met, then? It...doesn't sound like you have a high opinion of her.
no subject
[ With a dismissive handwave.
... How much you'd like to live. She frowns a bit at that, thinking of James. Is that...? ... He never drank enough blood. Ultimately, that probably is the case. ]
no subject
[...is there family drama beyond Karin, oh dear lord.]
no subject
[ ... LOOK SAYAKA THIS IS A MOTHER VS DAUGHTER IN LAW THING... ]
no subject
[Elda, she is prepared to be on your side and kick Calera's ass. She is ready.]
