WEEK 5.
Tabitha Smith, Sigrun Eide, and Solf J Kimblee are all dead. Regardless of what you think of the trial or the events leading up to it, there's no denying that you can feel the dent in your numbers now. After all, ten people are gone now. It may be hard, but all you can do is keep going. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... What with Jericho's excitement at the last trial, it's evident now more than ever that the new floor that's opened up to you is a gift, a reward for a job well-done. Because while surviving is something that you'll continue to try to do of your own merit...well. Let's say that he's so, so very proud of you. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 23 |

[OOC: Welcome to week five of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

[She's not inclined to go into details on that--it's probably not important to him, anyway. She just needs to do something before she thinks about the implications of all of this for too long.
She's by no means a perfect shot, but she prepares herself, takes aim, and fires a shot before she speaks up again.]
I got a bit of advice on what to do properly, so...it's become a good way to relieve stress, from time to time. Is it the same for you, Archer-san?
no subject
Well, it doesn't matter now.]
It is, yes. It looks like you're doing very well for a beginner.
[He could probably give her critique if he felt like it, but he doesn't, so he returns to his next shot. Still not in the center. He really is having a bad day today.]
no subject
[She does seem to appreciate the compliment, at least, and...smiles, just the tiniest bit.
Of course, she'll take aim for another shot when she notes him take his shot and how...that's definitely not in the center. She looks to his face for a moment, attempting to read the expression a bit before lowering her bow a bit.]
Are you going to be okay?
[She doesn't know if it's a good question to ask, but she keeps her tone soft when she asks.]
no subject
There isn't much of a choice, is there? If I'm not okay I'm leaving myself vulnerable, and in a place like this that will get me killed.
[He lines up another shot. This one's closer to the center, at least.]
no subject
[She's making a leap in assumptions, here, assuming the man would even mourn for someone who poisoned him in the first place. But she knows she mourned over the people who've almost killed her in the past--it's normal, isn't it?]
It's good that you know how to stay on track, though. It's how people survive in the world--not just here.
no subject
Indeed. I don't want to die here, so I'll do everything in my power to survive.
[He has a couple of alchemists to return to and a war to run.]
no subject
[...she can't speak for him, and she's not going to try to. She'll ready another arrow and fire it. It's not even close to the center, but it's a hit.]
It's something you have to do for yourself. You must keep moving forward, always.
no subject
[...]
Though a man like that would be hard to forget.
[He almost sounds fond.]
no subject
[She takes another arrow and fires off--her tone makes it sound at least somewhat happy to hear that, though. The arrow hits a little closer to the center.]
Someone like him, though? He certainly leaves an impression that's near impossible to forget. Wouldn't want to, either.
no subject
[Archer still doesn't really get the importance Kimblee placed on remembering the people who died here, but he understands enough to know that Kimblee wouldn't want to be forgotten either.]
I doubt anyone here could forget him, for better or for worse.
[that sure was a lot of crazy in that trial, damn]
no subject
[...Even if it's definitely still a somber topic, but she smiles, even so. It's the least she can do, right?]
They'll definitely remember.
[She fires off another shot to sort of...fill the kind of awkward silence she's got going on.]
no subject
[Even if it's negative, at least they won't forget.]
no subject
Sorry--here I said I wasn't going to bother you, and here I am talking your poor ear off. I'm ruining your concentration, probably.
no subject
[Which is sort of surprising, actually.]
no subject
If you're certain, then.
[Let's just get back to shooting, then? ...Maybe it helped put him at ease or something, she doesn't know.]
