WEEK 5.

WEEK 5

Tabitha Smith, Sigrun Eide, and Solf J Kimblee are all dead. Regardless of what you think of the trial or the events leading up to it, there's no denying that you can feel the dent in your numbers now. After all, ten people are gone now.

It may be hard, but all you can do is keep going.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

What with Jericho's excitement at the last trial, it's evident now more than ever that the new floor that's opened up to you is a gift, a reward for a job well-done. Because while surviving is something that you'll continue to try to do of your own merit...well.

Let's say that he's so, so very proud of you.

[ she would like to be left alone, honestly. She can't deal with all of these humans, the ones she's now counting on to not lose her family in her mind. Or she needs to kill them...

She snarls, but then something slips out under the door.

It's a sketch drawing - one of Kyrie as best she can do from memory. ]

[That is unexpected and, curiously, Kyrie actually feels kind of touched by that. She didn't expect a sketch. She takes the drawing, examining it]

Marker-san...

[She folds the drawing, unsure of how to feel]

It's a rather nice sketch. Pretty good for something drawn from memory.

[ Finally, she speaks from the other side of the door: ]

I pride myself an having a good memory for details.

Then it should be difficult to make you forget anything. Could such thing even be possible? Making someone forget something permanently?

[Obviously it's possible to forget something, but it always seems like it's temporal. As she sees it, maybe they can't make someone forget something forever]

Don't be silly, of course it is. How good your memory is or isn't have no bearing on that. This is by far the most real and tangible threat that he's given out yet.

[ She slides down the door, sitting down with her back against it on the other side, raising her voice to make sure it can still be heard. ]

You really think that? [Kyrie isn't fully convinced yet -- because some people will get killed anyway due to the random death thing. They won't miss their memories once they're dead, so...in her opinion it's a moot motive] Then someone's going to act on it. I just hope it won't be you, Marker-san.

You wouldn't fall for their motive, would you?

[ Of course she does - she could do it herself, erasing people's memories. It was... really, it'd be tedious but she could pull off this motive with some effort. But that said, she hums a bit,

Well she? ]

If I did, wouldn't I not answer that?
