WEEK 5 Tabitha Smith, Sigrun Eide, and Solf J Kimblee are all dead. Regardless of what you think of the trial or the events leading up to it, there's no denying that you can feel the dent in your numbers now. After all, ten people are gone now. It may be hard, but all you can do is keep going. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... What with Jericho's excitement at the last trial, it's evident now more than ever that the new floor that's opened up to you is a gift, a reward for a job well-done. Because while surviving is something that you'll continue to try to do of your own merit...well. Let's say that he's so, so very proud of you. [Milla spends part of her day looking through the chemistry lab. There are a lot of clearly labeled toxic materials that she seems to be going through for the sake of awareness.

Later she visits the art studio. Although she has never drawn before-- she seems very dedicated as she attempts some sketches. There are a number... as well as a few poor attempts crumpled up all over the table. The ones that haven't been destroyed show a boy, his cat, and a young girl. The one she's working on now seems to recieve a lot of care as well and depicts another boy-- one she looks at quite fondly, whether she realizes it or not.

If you come in later you might even see her attempting to sketch some of the people here. She starts with those she's seen the most of-- Elda, Sayaka, Rin, Adelina... but anyone might find a sketch of them on her table. She would like to remember that all these people were her allies on some level.]

[Seeing Milla in the art room almost makes Rideaux walk right back out, but he chooses to linger. Being in this situation with Maxwell has never stopped feeling strange, but he has to wonder what sort of dreams she's had by now. Do theirs sync up? If his latest one is any to go by...yikes. But he decides to venture in anyway, because it's about time they talked about things going on, as unpleasant as it sounds to him.

However, he stops short when he sees the drawings.]

Since when did you run into that Kresnik?

[He's referring to Ludger of course. But he's just as curious about the other drawings, Jude excluded.

This...might get even more strange.]

[Milla puts down her pencil for the time being.]

I have been aware that we were allies to a certain extent for a little while now. But at least as my memories are now, I cannot say I have known him for a very long time.

[She knows a little more now than she did the first time she remembered him. However, not everything is clear cut.]

You're acquainted with him as well, correct?

[evilfrenzy]

[...huh. That's strange. This Milla is not the one currently present in the prime dimension as far as Rideaux's memories tell him, so how did she know Ludger before that? Unless their timeline of events isn't lining up...?

Yeah. He's my subordinate. He's got a bit of a rebellious streak, though I'm not very surprised about it considering his brother had that nasty habit as well.

For the Spirius Corporation, am I correct?

[Interesting development. It was helping put some other concepts in their place as well.]

I was aware that you were responsible for a significant amount of medical aid they recieved. I meant to thank you for that earlier, but hadn't found the right time to do so.

[Now is as good a time as any, perhaps.]

That's right.

[...wow, um. He wasn't expecting that at all, really. So she heard about it, huh? How...? Well, despite his momentary look of surprise he offers a smooth smile in return.]

But of course. It is the duty of Spirius' medical agents to save lives when possible, after all.

[...and overcharge out the ass for doing so, apparently. But details.]

Ah, no. Rollo belongs to Ludger. However... he has been helping us a good deal lately.

[TARRLOK LET HER TELL YOU ALL ABOUT THE WONDERS OF CAT DISPATCH.]

Ah, what a good cat! People usually ascribe those sorts of things to dogs, but honestly, I think cats are more pleasant than people give them credit for in that regard.

I see... cat lovers and dog lovers are competitive in other worlds as well.

[Well. She has no running in that race. Her favorite pet is neither.]

He is very intelligent and pleasant to work with, it's true. He brings us back all sorts of things we wouldn't be able to get easily on our own.

I don't see why there needs to be a competition, personally. They do have qualities that make them attractive to different people, admittedly, but they're both good companions.

And I'm glad to hear it. ...I'm sure that's more than just dead small things he managed to hunt down.

I agree. They're both charming in their own way.

Yes. Thanks to him we were able to find other lost cats, crafting materials and even food items.

...I think I understand the first two, but I'm not sure if I'd trust a cat to bring me food, honestly...

[spiritform]

I trust humans to bring me food all the time.

[Same thing, right? Well. To the Lord of Spirits...]

And Rollo is quite talented at catching fish.

...well, there's... that.

I think I'd inspect any food a cat would give you fairly closely, though.
