WEEK 5.
Tabitha Smith, Sigrun Eide, and Solf J Kimblee are all dead. Regardless of what you think of the trial or the events leading up to it, there's no denying that you can feel the dent in your numbers now. After all, ten people are gone now. It may be hard, but all you can do is keep going. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... What with Jericho's excitement at the last trial, it's evident now more than ever that the new floor that's opened up to you is a gift, a reward for a job well-done. Because while surviving is something that you'll continue to try to do of your own merit...well. Let's say that he's so, so very proud of you. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 23 |

[OOC: Welcome to week five of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

... What time it is? Is this more like afternoon, or after the meeting? Either way, there's not ab immediate answer. ]
no subject
Well, she knows Elda well enough not to pound on the door incessantly. But if takes more than a few minutes for a response, she'll try again.]
no subject
She's going to go up to the door and she's putting something under the door? It's a sketch of...
Fern?
And then written on the back: ] WHAT?
no subject
...
...she comes up with a bizarre plan. First, she undoes her hair tie, letting her hair fall down. Second, she bunches up the ribbon and shoves it in her pocket.
And then she replies.]
Um...I lost my hair tie earlier, and I'm havin' trouble makin' it look nice until I can knit a replacement. Since your hair is always so beautiful, I thought you might have some tips? I don't know who else to ask!
[She remembers Elda likes being complimented?]

But then, Hibiki is sort of stupid. The fact is, Elda doesn't want to resist all contact. He hisses a little, and then opens the door for Hibiki. The room doesn't have the lights on, at all, but Hibiki is beckoned inside.
You know, if she dares.
The hallway lights make it clear there's some stuff tapped to the wall. ]
no subject
But Hibiki's trying not to be. When someone is alone or sick or hurt, sometimes it's better to not coddle them and just treat them like normal. Like...a distraction, but less sinister.
She heads inside, looking around the room again.]
Thanks for seein' me, Elda. I probably look strange like this.
[Really. She's worn a tie in her hair, worn it the same way ever since arriving. She really likes her ponytail. That said, it is...dark...and she sort of feels like she should be worried if the door closes or something.]
no subject
[ Oh no, the door is definitely closing, resulting in the room becoming... really, more or less pitch black. The room smells as clinical as the others, albeit there's a hint of that bat jerky she gets in the vending machine sometimes. And Elda, despite having let Hibiki to the middle of the room is now letting go of her to head to the bathroom and get a brush.
... hope that's not terrifying?? ]
no subject
[Y i k e s. Without anyone holding onto her, she wants to find something to brace herself against. But Elda told her to stand still. That's a lot easier said than done. She's afraid of the dark, too! But because it's Elda, she's doing her damnedest not to tear up. She's a vampire! This is probably nice for her! Kyun!]
Hey, where did ya go? Are you in the bathroom now? ...Did ya know that some cave fish don't have eyes 'cause they don't need 'em to get around?
[When in doubt, #animalfacts.]
no subject
[ Or lack therefore of. Still in the dark, now with comb in hand, she walks back over to Hibiki, takes her hand, and then guides the girl to sit down at the desk chair. She still doesn't turn a light on. And she runs her finger down the girl's hair a little...
Mmm. ]
no subject
[Another thing she's heard. She's clearly just talking to keep talking? She's really glad when she's led to sit down. It does occur to her that a noose could slip around her neck at any moment...but it's Elda. She promised she'd defend Elda, so she can't doubt her, either.]
Did ya...find what you were lookin' for?
[She's not uneasy with having a hand in her hair. She's had people help with it before. Stage hair and all that.]
no subject
[ Getting haircare in the dark is totally normal. Particularly if Hibiki touches the desk at all the notice there are scratches in it... ]
no subject
Your eyesight must be really great, Elda. I can't see my own nose like this.
[Her hair hangs down pretty far when it's not tied like it usually is. There's a lot of clean idol hair to work with there. She shifts a little in her seat, trying to relax.]
no subject
Oh, no, I can see better here than I can in most of this place, honestly.
no subject
Really? So the light hurts your eyes? I didn't know. That's a vampire thing, right?
no subject
[ Huh... ]
You know, I wouldn't expect it, but your hair's pretty much in shape already. [ She's still going to brush it and all, but still, she doesn't need to do hardcore work. ]
no subject
[Maybe Jericho should dim the lights a little??]
Hey, what do you mean you wouldn't expect it? Keepin' my hair clean is an important part of my job! Animals are always hidin' in it, so I make sure to brush it an extra lot!
no subject
[ and she's still pissed about it??? ]
I suppose I didn't expect it of you.
no subject
[Is she dirtier than Sayaka somehow?? This hurts a little.]
I had no idea! I guess I should've guessed. Vampires are all sorts of powerful, right?
[She is trying so hard to NOT bring up Kyun! Vampire Girl.]
no subject
[ Brush, brush... ]
But naturally, of course we are.
no subject
[That feels so nice...she relaxes in the seat, placing a hand on the desk idly, and...]
... ...somethin' feels funny on your desk.
no subject
[ She answers. Simply.
Still, this girl's approval shoots up a little bit to say her hair is her pride. ]
no subject
[She sighs. Her brain is simple, but at least her hair is nice.]
no subject
[ Brush, brush... ]
How did you want it styled, again?
no subject
[But it's not about her? Everything is just so annoying. Like, people are totally dying.]
Mm...I'm not sure! What do ya think would be a good look for me?
no subject
[ Still... ]
What's eating you, the weight of it all?
