WEEK 5.

WEEK 5

Tabitha Smith, Sigrun Eide, and Solf J Kimblee are all dead. Regardless of what you think of the trial or the events leading up to it, there's no denying that you can feel the dent in your numbers now. After all, ten people are gone now.

It may be hard, but all you can do is keep going.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

What with Jericho's excitement at the last trial, it's evident now more than ever that the new floor that's opened up to you is a gift, a reward for a job well-done. Because while surviving is something that you'll continue to try to do of your own merit...well.

Let's say that he's so, so very proud of you.

[OOC: Welcome to week five of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

Of course. Might I look at your work when it is completed, though? From what I’ve seen of the drawings you’ve made of those who have left us... You have a lovely style.

[She gives a nod, though it lacks the accompanying smile it would normally have.]

It’s a useful way to pass the time... And I hope that it helps the others who are here in some way, even if it cannot help free us.

Yeah, of course.

[Everyone can see the memorial portraits anyway. Even if she may have tried harder on some than others.]

Sayaka and I talked a few weeks ago about hanging paintings around, if we ever got paint. Not that it really makes up for a window...

[Her expression brightens a bit.]

That's a wonderful idea! It could at least make this place seem a touch less dreary. If you would like me to, I should love to help.
ninehundredlives: ([ show it to ])

That'd be nice. I don't really want to do this whole place myself...it's a little much.

Did you have anything specific in mind? It would be nice to have some pictures of nature... Not being able to be outdoors is a bit taxing after a while.
ninehundredlives: ([ forever ])

Yeah, that's sort of what I was thinking, too. We could use something nice to remind us.

Something of the sky, perhaps, or some flowers...

[A tilt of her head.]

What is your favorite sort of scenery to draw?

[not fucking flowers that’s for sure]

I don’t know. Maybe some trees? Nothing man-made, we’ve got more than enough of that.
bloodbiter: (it seems that you have a soft spot)

Trees are a lovely idea. Maybe a river, too, and some mountains...
