WEEK 5 Tabitha Smith, Sigrun Eide, and Solf J Kimblee are all dead. Regardless of what you think of the trial or the events leading up to it, there's no denying that you can feel the dent in your numbers now. After all, ten people are gone now. It may be hard, but all you can do is keep going. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... What with Jericho's excitement at the last trial, it's evident now more than ever that the new floor that's opened up to you is a gift, a reward for a job well-done. Because while surviving is something that you'll continue to try to do of your own merit...well. Let's say that he's so, so very proud of you. Primordial Spirits aside, there are many spirits. Their power is what allows humans to harness the elements. Not only for simple things, but for healing and defense as well. Humans and spirits are meant to co-exist in a mutually beneficial manner.

More or less, yes.

So every human can see and use these spirits? Wow.

See them, no. Most spirits are invisible to human eyes.

And even then not all humans are capable of forming contracts with spirits. It requires a human with a mana lobe. [She points to her head, indicating where such a thing would be located.] By offering the spirits mana an exchange is made. The spirit receives mana and the human receives the spirit's power.

Humans who cannot have created devices known as Spyrix to help them harness that power. However, they were doing so at the cost of the spirit's lives.

Right now they are attempting to build a safe method to do that, which won't endanger the spirits.

So really, you're much more a god for all these spirit folks than for the humans out there, if I'm understanding all this right.

Yes, that is true. It is not typically my place to interfere with humans unless it becomes necessary.

[Not that she doesn't thoroughly enjoy her time with them.]

Okay, so what, do you live in that spirit realm? Or does being a fragment mean you can't hang out there as much?
